Sorry for that. It was one of my first videos and I was new to editing. If you see some of my newer ones You will see I have gotten a considerable amount better, Although still could always use improvement. Thank You for watching
So I could take the leftovers from brewing a all grain batch and add sugar and water + yeast and bam got chum and a cold beer too. That’s awesome. I have been putting in the garden and making soil out of it. Have you used wheat or Barley as chum?
Ok little hint... leave lid off! There are certain flies that will lay eggs in it. It produces a large maggot. Best catfish bait in the world. Just pull them out and refrigerate. I use corn and add other ingredients to my mix. Good luck!
Is your chum always wet? I am in the process of making up a large 35 gallon garage can of chum which should last a long time but wondering if I am going to have to add water to it until it's all gone or once fermented if I can let the water level drop below the level of grain.
If it is still bubbling in your bucket it will float so put a brick or rock in your bag, I bag then fish 2 times a week and chum when I'm though for the day.
armadillo outdoor adventures No problem. I have small holes in the lids of my buckets keep them covered with rubber squares just larger than the lid. it keeps flys out but let's gas escape. I typically don't disturb them once I've added more water on the third day, though I have opened them up before the 3 week mark to toss in unused bait from a fishing trip. I've got a batch cooking right now with a bunch of shrimp in it left over from my fishing trip on Saturday.
I have tried putting guts and heads after cleaning fish I dont kow if it worked better or worse so I just stayed withstraight milo. I also mix range cubes and sweet feed in another container and use them along side the milo
I do make it the other way but just to see ( for my self ) before passing judgment and try it, I grew Black Soldier Flies back in the 60's for bait and chum and didn't ever know what they were!
I never worry about making mine air tight. It still works fine. I use hen scratch mixed with a couple beers, garlic and some blood from chicken liver. Takes at least a week before it’s good. Wife hates the smell but she enjoys catching the fish! lol
Thanks for watching. I'm working on the music deal, I use it to cover up the background noise. The airlock is simple there is a fill line just fill it to the line with water and drop the valve part it and thats it.
There is several ways to go about it . You could tie a burlap sack full of chum to a stump in your spot if you cant be there every day . But genereally i just take a scoop and sling it out a little while before i fish . I chum 3 or 4 spots and then go back to the first spot and start fishing. If i don't catch a fish pretty quickly i move to the next spot i chummed. Thanks for watching i hope i was able to help.
Music is WAYYY to loud AND you don't need it. Good info. Thanks!
Thanks for watching
great idea... good information. hard to hear you with the background music.
Yea that was a while ago, I've learned a lot about editing since. Thank you for watching.
Music is to much. Hard of hearing and not enough volume.

It does stay wet for a while but it will eventually dry out. Thanks for watching
armadillo outdoor adventures thanks for the reply. Is dried out still ok and good?
It's probably not as good and alot of it floats off. I also use range cubes and sweet feed maybe that will help a little.

Turn off the damn crappy music!!!! Can't HEAR you!!!
I've been making soured grain chum for awhile now and I wouldn't say that introducing fresh air into the bucket affects anything what so ever.
Hello Chris, thanks for watching. You could be right I was taking knowledge from making beer

Music way to loud can't hear what you are saying music drowns you out. Turn volume down to get music low enough can't hear anything you say
music too loud...annoying . I didn't really catch how you set up the air lock.
Thanks for watching. I'm working on the music deal, I use it to cover up the background noise. The airlock is simple there is a fill line just fill it to the line with water and drop the valve part it and thats it.
Music is obnoxious!!!
I can hear that music down here in Russia/ )))
Hahahaha hardcore indeed
How do you chum your catfish holes?

yeah the music is too much, hard to understand you
What is the title of the song at the beginning? I have been trying to find it for a while now.
