I think I have to stop watching these videos of the new Avanti. I really love my Red Avanti but damn that new power system and paint scheme makes me want to get my card out and order one. LOL soon I’m thinking. The Avanti has been a great first EDF and it flies off grass with ease.
Maiden flight completed, very nice, have to get used to the flaps but it flew well, I like it. And this thing can spin with the ailerons on high rates, just how I like it, well done 😊
I'm in the same boat... I love my yellow original Avanti S , but I really want this one... Here's my Avanti... ua-cam.com/video/-1qh_1KEp5A/v-deo.html Have a great rest of your day 😁 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷🇺🇸
Really wish you guys would find someone that does cheaper postage to Australia as it'll be another 6 months before we see these but I just can't justify paying 280 USD for postage
but i have one question. would you rather recommend the new avati s or the eflite viper 90mm. i m loocking out for a new jet and dont know wich one i want xD
I would highly recommend you the Avanti S over the Viper 90mm if you are new to Jets. The Viper 90mm is a great jet, but it is more expensive, and it has horrible stall characteristics ... Once the Viper drops a wing, you are done if you aren't high enough to recover. The Avanti S is a docile flyer that could be aggressively fast but at the same time a ridiculously slow flyer... So you will have both edges of the spektrum with this jet... I own both jets, you can confirm that visiting my channel...😁👍🏾 Good luck with your decision😁👍🏾... P.S. Unless you get the Non-USA Version of the Viper 90mm, the Avanti S is way more beautiful...😁👍🏾 Have a great day...Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵😷🦠🇺🇸🇵🇷
@@ricardopr54 Thanks. I really recognize your great advice. I ll remember it when I m gonna buy my jet. I ve already heard about the thing with the stall characteristics . however I think I ll tend to the Avanti S v2 now. Have a great day too😃😃. Greetings from Phoenix P.S i abolutly agree. the avanti is ways more beautiful.
I just ordered and received one yesterday. The videos shows the so called "come and get them wire" that should come with the plane. Mine didn't. This new version looks really good but I was disappointed to see the manual was not updated, even the pictures shown are from the original version.
I don't know where was it, But I heard someone mentioning in one of this new Avanti S videos, that the nose landing gear on this version was shorter than the one in the original to help avoiding bouncing at landing... Is that true?... Can the new nose landing gear fit the old version of this great plane?... I have the model in my shopping cart because I love the new color scheme , but I love my old Avanti S too and don't want to have two of the same planes in my hangar. I'm considering selling the old one to get this one. My old one has an Avian ESC so It has reverse trust... The only thing I would definitely change on mine would be the nose landing gear for the new one if that is possible...I love the Cougar power system...I did maiden fly mine last weekend... Video will be soon in my channel... Anyway, I hope that you mention those little details in your next video please, everything that's new on this version... Thanks for your video... Have s great day. Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵😷🦠🇺🇸🇵🇷
Thrust me, it is a great and easy connector. If you ever need to replace any servo, it is really easy to pull that connector out and unplug the servo lead in order to replace the servo needed to be replaced. It is so easy that you can even replace a servo at the field in no time. I've done it on the past. The Avanti is a great model. If you get one, you won't regret... 😊
@cwwisk Ohh,ok , then, I don't know what to tell you... I'm not that good at setting up complicated mixes in my planes... You might want to contact Jon without the "H" at his channel, "Two Brothers RC"... That guy is a nerd programming his planes...😁👍🏾Have a great rest of your day 👍🏾😁
@@ricardopr54 thanks for the tip, but I know HOW to do it. It is just a pain, so I'd rather not feed the beast making these planes that take so much work to configure the way I want. Even if it is the best plane, I'll not give them the money if it isn't designed to be easily customized.
I lost orientation on maiden flight because this new color design disappears quickly in the blue skiy...Here's the video. ua-cam.com/video/y0Zo9TdIM0o/v-deo.html It is a great jet, I love it... But you need to be very careful because it'll disappear on you... I would definitely install a receiver with SAFE and enable it on a switch for emergencies like the one that happened to me.
@MotionRC Yes, sir...I couldn't believe it either... You can hear my friend in the background also commenting that the plane is hard to see... I don't think it is the red, but the military grey paint combination that makes her disappear, especially underneath..., white would've been better, in my opinion, at least underneath... The plane is beautiful, don't take me wrong, and it rapidly became my favorite jet in my hangar... But thrust me, I thought that my yellow Avanti S V1 was a little bit hard to keep an eye on against a blue sky, but this one is definitely harder to spot... As long as you keep her close to you, you won't have any issues. This plane would benefit a lot of the great Gyro the new Cougar 80mm comes with. That would complete this already great jet and help prevent emergencies like the one I experienced... I'm sure that if you ever offer a special edition of this plane with that Gyro, it'll be your best seller plane of the year... Thank you very much for your reaction to my comment... Again don't take me wrong, I love your products, you can check my purchase history and will see that must of my planes came from your store including my Freewing A-10 Thunderbolt 80mm, Avanti S 80mm Sport Jet yellow V1, Two AL-37 Airliners, F9F-8 Cougar 80mm, and my recent Avanti S 80mm V2... Hi mate I just ordered one from RC Castle and the surface postage to NZ is only $56 US and takes about 2 months to arrive.
Was delivered today !
Nice! Enjoy it!

Wes , Doe's it need a second batt strap , looks like you had the Batt with the strap to the aft end of the pack ... ???
No per the flight video I moved it to the center position. If you use a 5000 I recommend doing the same
I just flew it, it flies fine with just one strap. No issue at all
wow, again a amazing video. pls never stop making your videos. it would be a uge loss for the world of the rc aviation
Wow, thanks!
@@MotionRCShould there be extra screws left over from what came in the pack or did I miss something? Mine has screws left over???
Why don't they pair the visible servos?
What happened to control arm installation???
They come installed 😉

Is there any word on different color versions like v1 had yellow and red?
I’m going to order one but how do you setup thrust reverse? I didn’t see it in the manual.
There is a second lead coming off the ESC labeled Thrust Reverse. Just plug that into an open channel and assign that channel to a 2-position switch.
@@MotionRC Ok but I don’t have a two way switch available. Can I use a three way switch or bind button?
@@hobie278 yes. just make sure not to use it in the air
