Who the HELL ever got the idea that 'hope' is the anchor of the soul. CHRIST is the anchor, our hope IN Christ. WTF?
Why does God say love your enemies, but also support war?
Jesus changed everything... Read Matthew 6... That's a good question and I hope more people comment.
Yes, God supported war in the Old Testament but then it was Jesus, in the New Testament that told us to love our enemies. Also, in Romans 12:20 Jesus tells us that if our enemy is hungry to feed him, if thirsty to give him water, that by doing so we put burning coals on his head, or in other words we make him feel strange and possibly turn our enemy into a friend.
Don't put everyone in the same boat! As a child of God and as a nurse, I don't support war at all! Who would want or wish for people to get hurt? Babies being injured, children losing parents, homes being destroyed. Who would want that? Greedy evil politicians who are in cohoots with these companies so they can make money. It's all about greed/money! War = money that's why all these wars are happening plus the Bible has to manifest itself as well!
Please read from KJV version.. where every verse talks and build up to Christ Jesus...but in the version being read , every nuances of pointers to Christ is missing...
Eg verse 10: unrighteous in KJV is replaced by unjust
Verse 13: because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself (Trinity, Jesus Christ is co equal), word counsel is removed and replaced, counsel is theological and doctrinally sound word in legal sense which is missing in version read, verse 18: strong consolation, refuge is being replaced by other crap words bereft of previous reference and names of God himself and to Christ, verse 19: the hope in verse 18 and the hop in verse 19 is Christ, and built up beautiful in KJV to point to Christ as an anchor of the soul and which entered in to the vail is lost in the version read.
Our LORD Jesus Christ is Coming NOW... please come out of system pleasing men or the system itself.
