Jesus save us from the demons that seek to destroy the mind and body to rob us of salvation. Never give up. Satan was defeated at the cross by Jesus who overcame all temptation and this world. Cling to Jesus and call on his name and He will save. Jesus has been given all power and authority over all thimgs in heaven and earth because he humbled himself to die for us. This is a sermon for all suffering depression.. Thankyou Jesus. July 9th 1868.
Thank you for this sermon brother, my young son's and daughter think they are hopeless because they are enslaved by alcohol and drugs. I keep telling them that God loves them so very much however they don't believe this. Please pray for my children and grandchildren. My grandchildren see the violence, screaming and crying, what have we done? I try to protect them but my son's will not hear us when we tell them "stop". I say " stop in the name of Jesus" but they laugh at my face, what have we done? pray for my children and grandchildren. I know that there is hope in Jesus, and hope for the hopeless.
Mark 2:16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?” 17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
After years of drug and alchol abuse. God literally removed these afflictions from me 13 years ago. I was to all a hopeless case. Even to myself. I woke one morning and looked up and said that’s it God I’m done. That was June 1,2010. Praise God! There’s never a hopeless case of Gods hand of God. And there’s always hope in that as long as we live!
Hope for the Hopeless was the Hope which God's servants kept before me for such a long while. But, today I can say thank you Lord Jesus. It is done. I am saved in and by and through my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
He said some are hopeless I feel like I am the some I can’t get over Hebrews 6:4-6 I professed faith as a child an walked away please Jesus have mercy on me
Watch Ryan Rufus explain that he thinks this was for Hebrews returning to Judaizing-they lost their salvation when they chose to be judged by the Law instead of Christ. Just choose Christ, regardless, and believe! If you choose to be judged by the Law, and not Christ, you are already condemned because no one but Christ can follow the Law. It fulfilled its purpose at the time by pointing to a need for a Savior, preordained before the Fall of Man. The Bible is to different groups at different times. Can you think of any religions who claim to be Christian who do not accept Christ as the final sacrifice, the final Temple, and our high priest currently in heaven? Many religions have doctrinal tares trying to choke out the Gospel. Their bread is plumpy.
Jesus is your mercy. He guarantees it. The very fact that you're coming to Him asking is the evidence you know where your mercy is found. Now embrace it. Believe it. If anyone would come to Me, I will in no way cast out. Believe Him. May Romans 15:13 remind you that in your believing God's testimony of Christ He gives you peace. There is no peace in doubting.
.....Hymn extract.....How bright that blessed hope! Jesus will come; Let us our heads lift up, Jesus will come; Morning so bright and clear, Mansions of God appear. Sin shall not enter there, Jesus will come. Raised unto glory then At His return, Joyous our song shall be At His return; Gathered around to Him, All learnt the heavenly hymn, Jesus our joyful theme At His return. .......
Was looking for a message on this subject, alas at first the suggestions where filled with messages from questionable people. I would rather not quite like what God says and have Him change me rather than be built up by a people pleaser.
Pslam 88, my favorite verse: Lord, you are the God who saves me; day and night I cry out to you. 2 May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry. 3 I am overwhelmed with troubles and my life draws near to death. 4 I am counted among those who go down to the pit; I am like one without strength. 5 I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care. 6 You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths. 7 Your wrath lies heavily on me; you have overwhelmed me with all your waves. 8 You have taken from me my closest friends and have made me repulsive to them. I am confined and cannot escape; 9 my eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you. 10 Do you show your wonders to the dead? Do their spirits rise up and praise you? 11 Is your love declared in the grave, your faithfulness in Destruction? 12 Are your wonders known in the place of darkness, or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion? 13 But I cry to you for help,Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you. 14 Why, Lord, do you reject me and hide your face from me? 15 From my youth I have suffered and been close to death; I have borne your terror and am in despair 16 Your wrath has swept over me; your terrors have destroyed me. 17 All day long they surround me like a flood; they have completely engulfed me. 18 You have taken from me friend and neighbor- darkness is my closest friend.
If you believe the scriptures in the Bible, some people will continue to reject Christ until the fullness of the gentiles. They will be tares who grow beside us that God’s angels (not other men) will reap. You cannot let these people into your headspace when you know you were saved by Christ Alone!
This sermon is a bit Puritanical. One of the places to rightly divide the scriptures, literally, is to separate Christ’s ministry from TODAY, where He is our active intercessor in Heaven, and His Spirit was left to counsel us on Earth. We are no longer Hebrews listening to the Sermon on the Mount.

This preaching is what we need in these last days .
The compassion of Charles Spurgeon is so cleared in his sermons but at the same time giving hope to the hopeless indeed for he knew The Word.
Glory to the Lamb of God! Grateful to God for his mercy!
A timely word. I'm leaving for Mount Sinai Hospital this morning. A dear friend is terribly sick & feels hopeless. God Is Faithful.
Hope for the hopeless.Amen

Wow. This is a powerful sermon. It was difficult to listen to, but it shows us hope and light and deliverance.
The shaky and convicted voice in the last part has uplifted my soul. Thank you brothers

Religious abuse gave me Jesus me phobia.
Come to Jesus. He loves you and won't cast you away.
I hate this world and everything in it.

Very bad advice. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. By the way, "Puritanical" is a GOOD thing!
