Remember jesus christ loves you and your not alone, I hope you are free and not in prison like my son doing 16 year sentence something's he didn't want to be involved with. But I tell him and you that you're not alone jesus christ is right along side you . But get out of your house go to church and get involved doing activities at food pantries or something and you will feel so good about what you can do, or even singing in choir at church, handing out bible tracts. God has given you talents to use just pray God will show you what they are you do have gifts cause you are created in God's image, so even drawing a picture or encouraging others that you talk to being a good listener is a gift. God bless you and I will pray for you and jesus loves you so much.
If you are reading this comment and are feeling low and hopeless, understand that God can do good through all circumstances. I am praying for you all, that you would turn to him in times of hopelessness and allow Him to fill you with the living water that quenches any thirst. Trust Him and allow Him in to all aspects of your life and you will not regret it.

I'm close to suicide now. This message opened my mind to asking Jesus for his will in my life. the sad thing is depression causes your mind to believe the lies of the deceiver. I'm under Drs. care. but I know Jesus is the only way to survive. his will gives me a life of worth and value. I'm gonna keep trying. I just am thankful how Jesus spoke to me tonight. I know how hard it is when you feel so hopeless and so empty. And every day feels like the same thing just repeating over and over. I used to wonder what was the point to all this. I just recently rededicated my life to Jesus. I had been on up to 5 different medications daily for my mental illness. They said I had bipolar disorder and maybe borderline personality disorder. After so many years of dealing with it I figured I would have to deal with it the rest of my life. I tried finding happiness in anything I could. Relationships, alcohol, money ect. Once I got saved a few months later I decided to try and wean myself off all my medications. A year later I have joy. My life/situation right now isn’t what most people would look at as great. But he healed my mind. I know God can heal you. He may not fix everything else right now, or he may you never know! But he can heal your mind. He can renew your spirit. Just have faith! There is nothing he cannot do. And you never know maybe he wanted me to come across your comment. Someone who has been through what you are going through. To tell you to keep going. You have a purpose. And he loves you. Ask him what is it. Keep pushing on and don’t give up!

When you lose hope you give up on life. This is why I have found myself severely depressed because I lost my hope. But when I remember that my hope is in Jesus and not in man not in my circumstances it brings me back to life. It ignites a fire in me to keep on trying and fighting. Your hope is in Jesus. Remember that my friend.
You have put into words my exact thoughts and feelings which I've experienced off and on in my life - in recent years. Thoughts of Jesus is what keeps me going; when I get in the dumps, I refocus. I don't talk about it to anyone cause a close friend made light of it due to my personality. Only one who has experienced those feelings know what it's like. A few times I've thought that it would be nice not to wake up in the morning. Now that I'm getting to know God/Jesus Christ better through the teachings of Dr Stanley and others, I have recommitted my life to Christ by totally surrendering to Him. (I'm not married, therefore, no sexual immorality for me especially after coming across 1 Cor. 6:13) It was hard reconciling my mind to that fact for I was plagued by carnal thoughts and would scream and growl, occasionally 😁...But now I'm at peace knowing that I'm living in God's Will, at last. My life is in His hands, therefore, I trust Him to do what's best for me... And how are you doing now?

love neverfails look, you will be fine if you trust that God is always with you and loves you. Don’t be afraid to go to a psychologist to help you out: someone to talk to. This will help. And don’t be afraid to try some medication or even Chinese medicine. You will start feeling better even if you just force yourself to get up an hour earlier every morning just so you have time to take a brisk walk and then pray. Before anything else you have to do that morning- give yourself that hour 1/2 to your self. See if this helps.

I feel hopeless. I'm a born again christian and my hope is that Jesus will come soon. I'm a 67 year old childless widow. No family within 100 miles. Los Angeles is not affordable for me to move. I'm diagnosed with depression. Thyroid surgery last year. Elevated cholesterol, pre diabetic. April 9, 2019 hospitalised for diverticulitis. I have asked the Lord to just take me in my sleep so I won't go through pain such as I just experienced with diverticulitis. I know my life is in his hands but each and every day is a struggle and despair.

'Yes' I am feeling hopeless, alone, abused, and emotionally drained. I am tried now. Many days I wish to fall alseep and never wake up. I can identify with emptiness. Once so full of life, ideas, goals; yet, when succumb under attacks of the devil and live in stagnantion because of failures, loss of finances and abuse of others live is hard. I am tried. I blame no one but myself. I gave of myself to much now I am reaping those consequences. I no longer have strength to pray. I use to think my prayers were heard. I live a shattered life.
We all have a shattered life
This is why we need this so bad
Only God can change our lives
And only Jesus can save us from hell
Our little assembly will be praying that the Lord will put your shattered pieces back together into a wonderful masterpiece- The alabaster box must be BROKEN before The Lord so that which He has put within can be poured out to a dying world and so Your shattered life can be used to put Others back together also.

Ron Johnson I was suicidal as a teenager from 14 to 18,until I had my first child. My grandma left her dr. Stanley tapes for me,and he is the best thing I inherited. Ever since about 2002, I’ve listened to him daily....well,once you tube came out. The source of our strength series is my fave. That’s the set she left me. He is how I’d finally be able to sleep after my ptsd and drug use would keep me awake and terrified for days at a time. Now,17 years later, I still listen every night. I could listen to the same ones over and over...I hate the new half sermons,bc of the ads,interrupting them. But through all the ups downs struggles and blessings,one thing remains....Dr. Stanley is a gift from God,especially for people like me and you. I rest in the faithfulness of God,most days,brought to me from Dr. Stanley’s mouth!!! Glad to see u still listening and commenting!!! God bless!!

I currently feel very dark and hopeless. My marriage of 18 years has ended to the most beautiful woman I have ever met I prayed for a reconciled marriage but she is clearly done . Through all the prayers and tears the marriage is still dead. I wake up every morning with a hole in my heart and I can't shake it. I am a born-again believer but I cannot find my joy and happiness and Hope right now and this has been going on for a while not sure how long I can do this
I am in the same boat as you my friend. Wife left me after 25 years. Lost everything. Some days are dark. But I try and find gratitude in moments throughout the day. A walk, and admiring nature for example. The laughter of a child, another. I think it is important to find purpose. Giving of ourselves certainly helps. Hang in there. I will try as well.

Focus on Jesus not on yourself and the depression. I know it is not easy but when those destructive thoughts come turn your focus to Jesus. His unconditional love, grace, forgiveness and mercy. Talk to Him. Listen to praise music and move, move, move. The gym, walks anything. Satan wants u focused on you, the depression, your mistakes, your regrets. Do not give that to him.
I pray Jesus helps you in your need thank you Jesus.

I have been applying for jobs since 2016-17 and I haven't received any phone calls for a job and half of my family have ostracized me, but that didn't hinder me from continuing to praise God because I know that every thing God does happens for a reason. Trust in the process and never stop praising God because he is fighting for you 24/7 and He is protecting you from dangers you don't see. Amen 🙏🏽🙌🏽

on that paper, write all your thoughts... it need not in paragraph... can per line or bulleted... all those things that come in your mind....
those upsetting things/ troubling thoughts/ all your frustrations and all... be truthful with what you write... nobody else will read that... thia method will unburden you.... after... burn the paper( in a fire proof dish) after you feel the heaviness been lifted up.... Drink lukewarm water with a tiny pinch of salt...

I am already saved. I’ve made a mess of my life and have been through much abuse. I’m lost tired and I don’t sense God anymore. Life is meaningless and I feel I have nothing to even share with someone. Feeding the homeless doesn’t even make me feel good about myself. I don’t know what to do anymore 😢

First of all PLEASE know you are not condemned by the Lord Jesus Christ, but you have been forgiven of ALL your sins. Rejoice daily in knowing this, especially when you are feeling heavy and you feel lonely and hopeless. I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ speak to your dear son's heart to help him see you through the eyes of Jesus and that you and your son's relationship will be reconciled. Catolica whatever you have lost through all you have gone through in your life, rather it was from your own sin's or someone else 's wrong doing, may God give you so much more. I was raised Catholic too. Keep watching these sermons. Read His word, the Bible. And get baptized like Jesus did. Good enough for Him it was good enough for me. God bless you. Seek Him out. You might find this offensive, but I don't think Catholism is a real God centered religion. A lot of what they teach doesn't line up with the Bible. What you might consider doing is listening on utube to some Pastor John MacArthur sermons on Catholism. At least you can make up your own mind about it. Like infant baptism. When a person realizes he or she is a sinner, and needs a Savior to go to heaven, he or she accepts Christ as his Savior and soon after opts to be baptized as a public show of his or her new faith. An infant can't do that. An infant would never even remember it. Just an example. Also, things like priests, nuns, mass or rosary beads are never mentioned in the Bible. Don't you think if those things were important to God, He would mention them in the Bible. Just something to think about.
PS. Purgatory is not in the Bible either.
I’m living across the street from my parents home where I can’t go because they are Godless but the neighbor I barely know took me in, I have nothing but a car left, no job, no money or friends and my faith in my position in Christ has been shaken for the last 2 years to the point that all I can do most days is try to be encouraged in the Lord because it’s paralyzing not being able to walk in the assurance I once had. This Lordship salvation teaching did a number on me after I backslid and I started to think that I was doomed. Jesus finished the work on Calvary so why are their so many teachings about losing your salvation and reprobate after saved and so on.... either we can rest in Him or we can’t, one is lie the other is the truth. Please pray for me.
Once saved, always saved. This is truth. Your home in heaven is secure. As long as we are here on earth we are prone to stumble, and God Always has hold of our hand to upright us again. He will not lose one of us! Keep listening to Dr. Stanley, he mentions our security in Christ in several of his sermons.

I would like to advise you to make a sincere confession and then go to mass with all your heart, but I believe that you are a Protestant. I assure you that the Confess and Communion are so essential to draw closer to God, if you knew what joy, what peace and what Love that God gives me! I have always the smile ! But the Grace of God penetrates less well in a soul soiled by sin, and it must be washed in Confess, where it is Jesus who acts through the priest
! As for Communion, It is really the Real Presence of Christ in flesh and blood, God really Present in a small Eucharist which comes to strengthen us, the miracle of miracles! (And all of this is taught in the bible; Confess: 2 corinthians 5:18-20, John 20:23. Eucharist: 1 Corinthians, 10:14-22, John 6:35, 6:51). At each Eucharist it is a meeting with God, I really feel strongly His Presence, my smile rises by itself. When I was very close to Jesus, at Communion I really felt Purity, Sweetness in my heart, it was incredible ...

Wow. This is truly a blessing! I’ve been going through the lowest point of my life for the past 4 months and everything was going wrong.. Depression had completely taken over me and all I would sit and think about all day we’re the awful things I’ve done in the past. Feeling such a deep remorse.. God brought me to this today so I would truly feel redeemed! I’m sitting here today feeling truly blessed and I pray that whatever you might be going through, that God WILL pull you out of the dark place you are in and show you his unconditional love❤️❤️ May God bless you all!!

I am going through many storms in my life right now and it seems the storms have turned to hurricanes. I have been feeling very hopeless in my marriage and this message has encouraged me not the give up in life. My husband refuses to go to church now for months. Instead, I watch In Touch Ministries at home everyday with my children. The Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance Psalm 18 during this message. I hope reading that passage blesses someone. In my home my children and I call Dr. Stanley "Grandpa Stanley" and we consider him our spiritual grandfather. I appreciate his obedience and adherence to the teaching of God's holy Word. No frills, no jokes, no hip music...but a life and a character that reflects obedience to God.

Kelsey just praying for you and the pain of a hopeless feeling marriage - it is sooo painful and I have felt that prayer - my heart felt so sore when I read this . Praying for Jesus to be with you and to give you continued courage and encouragement in those moments of despair. I’m actually a couples therapist and I would really recommend as u continue to fill urself with gods word every day to also check out the book created for connection - or eft therapy with a Christian therapist - as it’s honestly so helpful for couples - praying god continues to give u hope and god continues to lift u and ur marriage up and that ur pain can one day become ur ministry girl ! Ur not alone !

We can not make our husbands go to church, but we can bring the church back to our lives, every day of our lives if we want to. We can start with videos, audios, prayer, singing, reading the word, being kind to our neighbors, grateful in praising, encouraging our children, etc. But do something everyday until you do not see it as a must (sacrifice) but as a necessity ( basic need).
