Excellent update, I've always shared this buyer's guide with people who are interested. Hopefully more people try DM cause of these products. Locally my big issue is that stores aren't even ordering origin packs unless you buy a whole box order of them. So it's a catch 22 situation currently.
Glad you liked it, and thanks very much for sharing. That's a pity about the origin packs. I guess you'd need to find seven other people, which might be a bit of a tall order!
I'm a very casual player of this game. Picked up a new starter set of the justice league a few years ago for a dollar at a discount store. Love how fun it was so I bought the Justice Campaign box and the Spiderman and War of Light Starter sets. Im not playing competitively and no one in my 1hr radius plays dm or even sells the draft packs. So should I stick to getting campaign boxes or should I be buying these new draft sets?
I think you should just buy the cards and characters that appeal to you, and that you're able to pick up within your budget. If you're not playing competitively and/or a collector, there's no compelling reason to buy stuff just because it's new. That said, there are some good characters and fun abilities in the draft packs, so if you come across them at a reasonable price, I would certainly check them out 🙂
Thank you for the breakdown of all of the new stuff. I hate that the LCG format is going away. As a collector I am not a big fan of the draft packs. They make collecting a set of C/U more difficult.
My pleasure. I quite enjoyed the LCG stuff, too, but I guess the model just didn't work for them. Luckily, I'm not a collector 😀 If I was, I'd probably just buy a CU or CUR set off someone who opened a bunch of packs. Though that does take the fun out of the blind product rather!
Draft Packs meh, new Card Design? Even worse then the already Bad old. Making non-effect cards full Art is a good choice. Dont get me wrong i Love dice Masters, but the Design is user-unfriendly and got even worse now. I think i dont go any Further with the Game, i have 51% of all cards released and the Game is completly dead in Germany, and nearly the whole world 😅
@@DiceMastersUnited First of all there was a big Problem with all those Boosters, the cards were strongly Bend, which makes them really hard to Store. The global abilities are some Times very hard to read, some Decks have 4 of Them, and i need to read those of my oponents often. I Always need to Grab Them and read those effects, cause i May use Them, too. Next Problem is the General quality of the cards, Its Bad 😅, the First few Packs with holos... Oh god, they are reflecting Like nothing Else. The next Thing is this "Group" Thing, Like Avengers, or Guardians of the Galaxy and so one, there are so many of Them, and Just the small Symbol under the cardcost makes it hard to find cool cards for a good Deck. The common-uc-rare-ur-stripes are just a bid too "small", in some sleeves you have to Pick Them Up to properly See the Green and yellow Color The Back of the cards are Most of the time unused, i saw that some of the new cards have 2sides, but besides that, why dont Print the Set, collectionnumber etc on the Back? We dont need to shuffe anything, neither do we use covered cards.
@@xslamdownx102The good news is that a lot of those things really have been addressed in Secret Wars - the card stock is better, the foils are the most readable yet, the globals are much easier to read (apart from double energy symbols), and from what I saw when Spug was unboxing them, the cards are really nice and flat.
@@xslamdownx102I know what you mean about the rarity stripes - I don't know if the new boxes are better in that regard. For making teams, I always use the teambuilder, where you can filter by affiliation (or just about anything else)

@@DiceMastersUnited Definitely, worst case I order from Wizkids but then I'll need to pay in USD :(
I ordered a display from Wizkids and was shocked to get the dispatch notification today! Now let's see how long it takes to get to Slovakia 😀

Why did you spell organized with an "s" ?
😀 Cos that's how civilised people spells it, innit?
All sold outs secret wars T.T
Oh no! The product manager said on fb 'There should be more available soon. This is likely just a quirk of inventory designations.' So 🤞

What is it exactly you find user-unfriendly?
