the defendant's family uses the opportunity to say "everything happens for a reason" CLASSY
Witnesses say both were driving aggressively, if you road rage you risk getting killed.
@@Dancingontgesun1942 Shouldn't be any risk of having someone unload 8 bullets into your car though. Use your brain if you have one.
@@Dancingontgesun1942 Sounds like victim blaming sounds like excuse making for unlawful actions
How did we go from using a horn to shooting? Oh yeah libs and POCS
@@adagioesposito8018 You should Google " Straw man argument" my ignorant friend, that is what you did to me.
This man didn't just mumble under his breath, he engaged in a road rage battle and could have easily injured or killed someone himself before the shooting. If someone is raging with you , you ignore them and let them win whatever battle they're fighting.
@@kidkhalifa4207 The shooting wasn't right but the Mr Jensen was trying reckless as well and could have injured or killed someone with his car. He was just as guilty as the other guy until the shooting.
Defendant's family with some despicable conduct.
He got off easy
note to self : when standing before a judge whose sympathies are likely to be with a certain nation other than the U.S., think twice about ending your impact statement with Free Palestine
Not really. This will be an issue for him for the rest of his life, even after sentence is served.

Imagine committing the most crime of anybody and still crying racist
It doesn't sound like any of the people who gave impact statements have ever had road rage which is shocking considering the nasty outbursts at end of sentencing. And brake checking on a freeway isn't very nice.
So the victim was brake checking him and preventing him from passing, what did Kinard do in the first place to cause him to act that way? 🤔
Does anyone know if this Trial is somewhere we can watch??

Still unclear how this jury said this was not a Murder when the medical evidence showed victim was shot in the BACK by the convicted Felon driving on the highway with a gun? Note to the presiding judge: put your sippy cup away, sister it's very unprofessional makes you look like a day drinker. Show some respect for the proceedings.
His grandmother said God doesn't make mistakes does that mean what her grandson did was ok? wow
At least the defendant family was respectful to the other families. That is good too see.
I dont know this case at all...
Respectful? What the fuck were you watching?
did you miss the part where the grandma said god makes everything happen for a reason???
No shame....until these people loss someone in this manner - senseless, theyll never have any genuine sympathy
Did his wife literally say free Palestine at the end of her speech? and brought in politics into a death sentencing???
What a disgrace to do that!
Witnesses say both were weaving in and out of traffic aggressively, I'm not saying that man deserved to be killed BUT he could have stopped and let the other car "win" and this would have never happened
OK, this woman is addressing her husband's killer, and at the very end she adds "free Palestine".
Are you F'ing kidding me 👀
Guess I will cut her some slack, afterall her husband was murdered. But it's like saying BaBa Booey at the end of a eulogy.
WILL AMERICA EVER GET BACK TO RESPECT AND DECENCY 😪🇺🇸
Cry about it zionist
That’s what I was thinking!!! What a disgrace I’m not cutting her any slack

Free Palestine??? My gosh.
God bless her.
Really ridiculous to say, at a Trial like this...
That’s what I said. Your husband is murdered and you want to discuss politics!!!!
Sickening

The deceased was the first to commit road rage by gatekeeping and blocking the defendant's vehicle from passing. Mr. Kinard lost control of his emotions and will serve 15 to 17 years in prison. The sentences should have run concurrent and not consecutive, IMO. The deceased acted stupidly and paid with his life. Everyone loses.
Granting everything you say being true, you pose that behaviors subjectively found to be "stupid" ,when they are met with lethal force at the discretion of those upon whom they are inflicted, this is somehow justifiable?.
I find your statement the height of stupidity, is this really the road you want to go down? This is why civilized people look to these abstract things called LAWS.
I fear you might have difficulty with abstract conceptualization, just as the defendant in this case did.
You are either a very committed troll or a very, very stupid person.
There’s a lot more to this story than what you’re saying. Kinard was already a Convicted Felon who was not allowed to own a gun, yet, he had one and used it during a normal rush hour traffic road rage incident (that we see happen pretty much EVERYDAY without gun violence.) He received 2 consecutive charges due to the above totaling 10 years just from the gun usage, and only 7 for taking a life. Isn’t that something?
Then he decided to speed up, drive off the road to pass traffic on the shoulder/berm to then shoot the plaintiff 8 times and flee the scene and situation hiding for 2 weeks. I don’t think that’s just “losing control of your emotions.”
Who cares who was “the first” to commit road rage. Both cars presented this behavior according to the several witnesses who spoke and they were both at fault. But we can’t condone the Defendant’s behavior and say it’s okay to kill anyone on the road due to a road rage incident. That’s a very dangerous precedent to set.
@@MonicaPeck Thank you for your well-thought-out response. I am considering the totality of the unfortunate event. There are no innocent parties in this tragedy. Both acted stupidly and one lost his life. Imagine if the deceased made the decision not to gatekeep and allowed the defendant to pass. He would be alive today. Mr. Kinard got what he deserved with a prison sentence. If he had kept his composure he would be at home instead of a prison cell. Road rage is a major issue in this country, and when there are irrational drivers behind the wheel, the possibility of a "brake check" ending in someone losing their life is an unfortunate reality. I am not condoning the defendant's behavior, but rather stating that the deceased played a role in losing his life. It was all avoidable. Now imagine if guns weren't so accessible and people understood that we are all just trying to get to our destinations. No one owns the roads.
