- Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman was first featured on the A&E show Take This Job, which soon led to him receiving his own series called Dog the Bounty Hunter. Miss Dog and Beth's show - it always let us know what was really happening on our streets. Dog's faith has inspired many + he's shown us that you can overcome the bad things. I keep prayers going for Beth. No matter how old your kids are, they still need their mom.

+Edmond Lau Cops have to project a level of authority to some folks because they will not get their job done otherwise. If you notice the professional cops do so without stepping over the line. Just be respectful, but don't take any crap. If they step over the line, file a complaint. But don't make the mistake of categorizing all (even most) of them because of those few that can't properly handle the authority they own. After all, who do you call when someone is breaking into your house?

+re tards I own multiple weapons for a number of different reasons. Mainly, I enjoy sport shooting. I own weapons specialized to sport shoot. I own semi automatic weapons specifically modified to sport shoot. I do however own a 12 gauge shot gun with a 28" barrel. That one is to splatter someone brains across my living room in case they thought they were going to break into my house and try to cause harm to my wife or son. I also own a 9mm hand gun that I carry everywhere I go. I keep it loaded with hollow points just in case someone thought they were going to try to take what is mine. I will turn their insides into a milk shake. I own guns because I have a right to, and I enjoy them. Did that answer your question?

I don't see a problem with owning a gun or two , if your a hunter or a hobbyist , but what I find interesting is those (most gun owners in the states) that say they need it for protection. Is it that dangerous to live in the states that you need a gun to protect yourself?
But I guess since they have one of the highest incarceration rates in the world, there must be lots of criminals and violent people there, so I can see why one would need a gun to live in the states. It's a dangerous place to live

I worked as Bail Enforcement Officer on the East Coast for five years. I utilized full body armor a shotgun and .45acp sidearm. After being shot four times in three different incidents I decided, (My Wife decided for me.) that perhaps it's time to retire. That said, Chapman was/is a joke in the industry. I fully believe in Stand Your Ground Laws. More over I've personally watched people, both male and female assailants fight and or run covered in OC Spray with Tazer barbs hanging from their bodies. I shot a man on Meth with bean bags five times while he charged me. The last shot breaking his leg below the knee. I still had to go "Hands On" choking him out to get cuffs on. Firearms are an absolute necessity.
After two or three trips into the "gas chamber" in the Army, most of us were breathing CS smoke like a harsh cigarette. Military CS in a confined space is much stronger than OC spray. I also watched several people stay on their feet while being tased during riot/pow training...and none of us were ever on dope. I agree that those OC paintballs are basically useless.

He never had to use a gun? How many times has he gone after a bounty on his own? He always has two or three guys with him to help and wears vests! There is a big difference when you're the one going after someone as to being attacked! Ask the guys he attacked or brought in as a bounty, they were caught by surprise.
