nice to see some positive review on them. going to the orientation this monday just got my cdl having bad driving record tho. trying to keep positive mindset thx for video man
Thank you G! I’ve been trying to get started but been scared away, but you definitely kept it real and gave me a clear definition. I think I’ll give my recruiter a call
Why you got to wait 3 years. It’s decent here man if you want to get your experience, they short on freight right now. So pay is up and down but I’m here for experience mainly
@@courtneybratcher6134 I called them I'm in Florida they say they not hiring out of Florida right now and I had a accident 6 months before getting my CDL every company I've tried been telling me 3 years before they mess with me 1 said a year

My recommendations to all truckers: Stay with your first company the 1st year or 2nd. Do not follow the money in your first years as a trucker. Once you have enough experience, then apply to the best trucking company that pays well. Do not, I repeat, Do not work for smaller companies, they don’t care about their trucks nor your license.
I work for a very small company making the most money ever 107k last year and driving the new equipment all on w2 one thing I've learned in life is never say never
The worst ever..I'm here in Richmond now been here 7days they don't pay for orientation at all they feed u crap most ppl waiting on a trainer for days..they put you in a room for the weekend and give u 4 McDonald's cards with 8dollars on it..frfr
Yeah idk I might not go to western cause of all the reviews and being recent. Trucks don’t got WiFi, fridge, microwave! Like damn Maverick had all that and maybe I should’ve stayed with them.
@@courtneybratcher6134 this place is horrible though. I went and tried and when I got there I ended up leaving the next day and was out. Seen to much and drivers not happy.

Yeah, I’m a trainer based out of Richmond. It’s not the best company out there also not the worst. But if you want to get your experience up real quick. Get into a truck quick. It’s for you. If you coming for top pay, nah it’s probably not for you. But see can you request me lol

Hey Cort man I’m new to this I’ve been looking at companies a lot of companies are giving me the run around I do have a record I recently just obtained my cdl a permit. I’m curious to when they say “team driving” does that mean I have to pair with someone forever or just for a short period of time? I applied at Roehl I guess the have a 2nd chance thing for people that’s been in trouble however I had my second phone interview with this this morning and I’m not feeling to good on them actually picking me up. So I’ve been thinking of western to try out next any advice or recommendations brother?
Yeah, team driving is you parried with someone. If you do solo, you by yourself. Western is a good 2 chance company, if you hungry and ready to prove yourself. Recommendations are get along with your trainer. Get your sleep. Max your hours out (10 hours drive time). And get cool with your dm when you get your own truck.
I got five speeding tickets men and I got rejected by Werner and swift won’t even pick up the phone I never got a ticket with my CDL but hopefully western accept me
Couple guys told me the rates weren’t good. Plus Diesel prices higher right now. Flatbed seems to have a lot of work. You’re just in orientation 2-3 weeks from what I hear.
@@reacher8360 same lol I just scheduled an interview on the 2nd with Pepsi for a local position, if I get the job on the spot I won’t be at Westerns Orientation
Richmond my terminal. To me if you not spoiled and ready to prove yourself this will be cake to you. Bc nobody would hire me either and I read the reviews about Western. But then I got here I thought to myself ppl complaining about this? Only thing I can say is the miles been weak the pass few months but it seems like it’s picking back up on the East Coast rn
