always wondered why filipino pilots whenever in an a320/a319 go for 55-65% n1 while aligning with the runway for takeoff... in other airliners they either come to a complete stop or align with the runway first before going for 55% thrust... gotta love those a320-cfm... that distinguishing whine and roar... loved that sound ever since... I think its the Elevators or the Rudder which is moving, I cant see the flaps moving, and the flaps don't sound like that, it sounds softly, but anyways super cool ng video! wahehe^_^ first I thought It was a robo dog
what rudders are you talking about? rudders are located in the tail area where it is used to turn. and also, mabe you mean is, the flaps and the spoilers sounds :)
now i know why in this video the a320 spools up to 55% upon entering the runway... found out recently since i went to cebu just last week... the aircraft doesn't enter the beginning of the runway... it enters about 1/4 distance from the beginning of the runway (which leaves 3/4 of runway to take off) to conserve taxi fuel costs... besides mactan intl airports runway is long enough for the a320 to be able to clear once it takes off...
