@korver23 : a few questions though; a) does the airline your father works with permit the use of camcorders (or even cellfone with video recorders) during the conduct of his flight? b) has he made extensive research and testing to really prove that it really is safe to operate camcorders or celfone with video recorders during the conduct of any flight? c) does he operate a camcorder in all of his flight? d) are you aware that a vast majority of the videos may have been taken using a celfone?

Simpack69 must not have flown before or didn't clean out his ears when the flight attendant says to please turn off all electronis that either " send or receive a signal"! Send or receive a signal is the key words here! Pay attention to detail !

@simpack69 There are literally more than 10,000 videos on the internet that have filmed a landing. And also, a camcorder dosent carry radio signals that can interfere with the aircraft communication. My dad has been a pilot for 16 years and i have asked him. He said its fine. He flies this exact same airline.

i hope you people are proud of operating an electronic gadget during the most critical part of a flight even if you have been constantly reminded to turn off all electronic equipment. i sincerely hope that you are proud of yourself for endangering the other passengers.

now i know why in this video the a320 spools up to 55% upon entering the runway... found out recently since i went to cebu just last week... the aircraft doesn't enter the beginning of the runway... it enters about 1/4 distance from the beginning of the runway (which leaves 3/4 of runway to take off) to conserve taxi fuel costs... besides mactan intl airports runway is long enough for the a320 to be able to clear once it takes off...

well, Philippine pilots are ery good in hadling vintage old aircraft so makes them a lot of experience of tehnical probs :) another yes during landing, FAA requires switching ON the landing Nose and landing strobe lights :)

How can the Filipinos be so good at landing a plane, but can't drive cars with any sense? Do they turn on the headlights and taillights at night when flying or landing?
