I don’t think a country, especially one as big as China, will just “go away”, excluding a take over by another country like China did with Taiwan but even Taiwan hasn’t just “gone away”.
I mean he’s the expert but it just seems too simplistic of an outlook and doesn’t take into consideration of rapid tech advancements, humans’ ability to adapt, and the wealthy’s willingness to take all the resources and let poor people die.
I believe China overstates their population numbers but do they overstate their army’s numbers? Last I read they had the biggest army in the world.

+Katie- This is cute but, China will still be here in ten years. Unfortunately. Unless they want to go to war with us. At which point the USA will snuff out their existence well within that time frame. Class dismissed.

It'll just fall apart like the Soviet union and what's left will be gobbled up by the major players. Also the size of an army means nothing, certainly not in the modern world, they can't afford to equip their soldiers with body armor, their navy is a complete green water navy which makes it irrelevant, the majority of their "war ships" are fishing boats outfitted with machine guns, most of their "soldiers" are high school aged, and outside of a war with Vietnam they lost decades ago they have 0 combat experience. China is a paper tiger and you shouldn't take anything they say seriously.
