You're welcome!
I don't know how but it's taken me a year to find this video and five minutes to swap the seat cushions! I thank you and my back thanks you
Awesome 👍 glad i could help
Hello....Very nice job and the seat not only looks better, but I'm sure it's way more comfortable to sit in! Thank you for sharing and take care!
Yes, thanks for watching
Any know the part number for the cushion seat on the drivers side?
I needed this video today. Thank you!
I needed this video again.
Thanks for this information ❤❤
Thank You!!! Big help!!!
Thanks for the info
Thanks, friend for info !! Another $200 that Freightliner is NOT going to suck out of my wallet LOL. I'm not going to swap 'em. Gonna pull driver's seat (butt portion) and reupholster it myself. Won't be perfect but it will definitely be far better than what my skinny old butt is sitting on now LOL. Thanks again. Peace and drive safely!!
where do you buy the things to reupholster?
@@TryMeFoolYT hi. Foam you can get from a sporting goods store (sleeping mat). Robust breathable fabric (synthetic of course, probably polyester or nylon) can be purchased at Fabricland or possibly Michael's or any decent fabric store. However, another option has just recently presented itself: yesterday when at Carrier (International dealer) waiting for parts, I noticed they were offering complete replacement lower and back truck seat sets for $299 Canadian (around $220 USD). These are easy to install...bolt on or clip on...and they may indeed fit Freightliners as well. Save a lot of time... And if they don't fit exactly, it may not be terribly difficult to adapt them over...
@@TryMeFoolYT at $220 USD it's still FAR cheapest than replacing the entire air chair (around $1000 USD).
Thank you very much
Thanks man just switched mine over in less than 5 minutes. Also found out that the air ride switch is broke so that explains why it just leaks air 😂😂
Thanks!
Helped thanks!!!
Awesome 😎 glad i could help
Thanks solved a 1000$ problem
So awesome
Thanks
I rebuild foam using electric bread knife and tiny air powered Rolla lock grinder. I glue new section in like Legos. Cover comes off eazy and you can recover. I would just use spray in can glue. I color match to factory, pattern out new pieces. My buddy sews them covers like factory. But eBay cover never buy new foam. Unless dog got at it.
Great info! I was wondering if I could swap the passenger seat bottom for the driver's, as mine in my new(ish) Cascadia is like yours. Driver's seat is bombed, but the passenger's is good. I'm gonna swap them.
Thx
Hi new friend here to connect and support. Nice video TFS
Ok, Seat Description out of the way. Next, let's hear about the truck!!!! Congrats on getting back into the "Spend More and Make Less" Game! It's a fun gamble though isn't it?
Only way to do it
Wow what that seat must have been through
A tornado maybe
Where can I get the cushion Amazon don't have it
I just took the one off the passenger seat. Here's one on eBay they are expensive if you can find them. www.ebay.com/itm/285488387963?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=mXEsQPY_Q_m&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=kpgishzvthm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
That old seat sean a lot of in - outs 😳
Yeah lots of them
Didn't work for me bud. I pulled on that lever as hard as I could and tried to pull the seat out but it was locked in.
Did you line up the plastic tabs
How do I know if they're lined up?
is it a Leaver ? or a lever? LOL
I went to public school I have no idea
No kidding
