Thanks for watching. I generally don't like the sound of ham radio in a bluetooth headset, but this things sounds pretty nice... and apparently the mic is solid as well.
OK. How about in the case of two 705s (for sat work, let's say). Wonder if you can pair the mic to one radio, and the earbud (should've made 'em dual buds) to the other radio.
I do wonder how much more cabin noise is picked up by that Bluetooth headset. Thinking of getting one but the 4Runner is not the worlds' quietest vehicle with certain tires on the highway. I wonder if it has some sort of noise gate to reject background noise. Icom should have made it easier to output the IC 5100a BT out to the radio via BT. Sadly the stock radio has no rca in jacks in the rear assuming that BT would make that unnecessary, Icom was not onboard with that idea.
#THNHR
#TeamReplay for the win!
Would be cool to see them shrink this down to an in the ear set.
Great video, audio production. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks, and thank you for watching! 73

Thanks for the vid, but this is for earbud(s), not a headset, no?
Hi, have you listened to any CW? My JBL bluetooth buds w/ my IC-705 do not sound good

Would it be safe to assume that you can use any headphones with the VS-3 and that you don't need to use the included earbud(s)?
I assume so. I’ve seen people with them pairs to air pods and the like
129.95US Icom hasn't let us down with their insane accessory mark up. ouch

Ear buds should have been BT as well for total wireless experience. :-(
