  • Patchouli, derived from the leaves of a humble mint family herb, is a divisive scent known for its paradoxical effects. It can both stimulate and calm, making it suitable for various moods and situations. Beyond its association with 1960s counterculture, Patchouli holds magical properties, aiding in solitude and focus amidst chaos. It grounds users, fostering awareness of the body and sensual experiences, particularly in practices like yoga or meditation. Emotionally, it encourages confronting fears and clearing negativity. Patchouli embodies strength and clarity, supporting you on your life quest with conviction and endurance while connecting to divine inspiration and magical realms.

Great video, and not just for the patchouli but also the conversation on gender and energy. I've always loved patchouli but I know many people who hate it. I'm very much airy in my head, so it makes sense. I think as for the gender and energy conversation... I think of it like a marbling of energies that flow through all of us, so we all - both women and men, goddesses and gods - have a mixing of yin and yang energies. That's how I always try to explain to people who are 'anti-trans'...part of going beyond this 3D binary black and white approach, is to see this continuum and enter to 5D... and it really is no issue if someone has a body that matches one gender but feels happier living as another gender. I'd love to hear Elizabeth speak more at length about being a bee shaman... I am pagan myself, and while I don't have a particular connection to bees, I have pondered on it a lot since reading Starhawk's amazing novels. I wonder if she has a similar approach?

I would add Guaiacwood to the sacred list.

I reach for it occasionally. It is one I prefer to keep a small amount on hand for when the mood strikes me.

Always worn it can't do without it having said that I have one specific bottle that is incredibly precious to me. I have been buying different brands for many years and no other matches my original bottle perhaps it's the aged opinion. I think it's worth is given by my nostalgic nuances. I believe it behaves differently on different parts of the body perhaps mixing with the secretions of my skin? Anyhoo it's my fave. bless 🙏
