Today I'm doing the neverending job if assembling my 40 cards. I have never made a mistake like this before; 3-4 layers plus sentiments. The cards are nice and the job must be done. These cards are beautiful and the JOY is wonderful with the Santa. Thank you for your laughter, your talent, your gentle, soothing voice while I work on my own cards. 💕💕💖🇨🇦
These cards are just brilliant. I tend to watch you on the big screen now as it’s so much more enjoyable, but then I forget to come back to my I-pad to comment. I watched this twice over last night after hubby had gone up to bed. It’s better than some of the programmes on television and I would have watched it again, but sleep got in the way. I dozed off and hubby had to come down and wake me up🤷🏼♀️. So I watched it again today, just love watching and listening to you. Always learn so much. Thank you ❤️
hahaha does that make you a 'groupie'? lol. But it does make you my fave! I am so happy that you are enjoying this series and find it helpful, it's because of comments like this that I keep coming back, You have made my day Dee!
Think I’m a bit past being a “groupie”. More of a true “appreciator” of your creativity. I’ve always been able to draw and paint what’s in front of me, such as a person or a landscape and do the other crafty things like sew and knit etc, where you follow a pattern, but I lack imagination🤷🏼♀️
These are great cards, unique and clever. But I have to tell you, you have far more patience than I do. Getting all those letters straight would send me over the edge! You make it look easy!
hahaha totally made me laugh out loud, sometimes I wonder why I want to do something a 'certain' way, it can make it more time consuming but it's a vision I have and want to make it into a card (and sometimes it's straight and other times it's not lol.). thanks so much Ruth!
Alphas are so much fun to play with...Love all of your cards, and I will definitely CASE a few of your ideas, Therese! :) Thank you so much for sharing another great video tutorial with us...You're the BEST!!! ♥
Hi Therese, you have been so busy. I love your cards. You gave me some inspiration. I haven’t started yet on my Christmas cards lol. I heard the first flight last night was expected out from Heathrow. London UK. With Australian’s onboard coming home at last. I didn’t hear where they were flying into which city. But I’m sure they will be glad just to get home. Weekend again. Are you watching the big game I believe there are two. One on each coast. Going to be wet . Stay dry and safe . Enjoy your weekend with your hubby. Happy crafting. Big hug 🤗. ❤️🌲🎅☃️❄️🍾🥂XOXOX
Just arrived home from the Sunshine Coast where we were visiting friends and made it before the rain settled in which is nice. I heard there was a plane arriving in Darwin with 160 people... but I also know other states are being asked to assist too. And as for the footy I did hear something about a final... but I will be making cards, I've never been one to 'watch' sport on TV and neither is my hubby which suits me just fine, but you just reminded me that I shouldn't ring my Mum and dad until after the match lol. Have a fabulous weekend my friend x
I might not have to say it, BUT, you -know-who thought that M card was made for her, right? LOL I just loved watching you create today, Therese! Such wonderful, bright, happy Christmas cards! [that JOY-ful Santa! OH!] xo
We're always ready for your cute UA-cam videos and great card designs Therese! Love all of the cards, but you do make things very difficult for yourself with all those layers having to be adhered perfectly on top of each other. Loved the idea when the top layer was marginally smaller than the bottom layer which gave it even more dimension. I also love making my own backgrounds - it is time consuming but worth the effort when you see the results. Thanks as always for sharing. XX
I think you need to send that huge merry M to me because my first and last name begins with M and also my husband's name begins with M and we live in a town that begins with M in the state of Massachusetts! lol I really liked the way you handled all these cards. Can't wait until tomorrow for the next ones.
You just saved me! This morning I created a card almost the same. Same Pink. Large die cut letters, but it was missing something. I tried a frame around the edge, but the letters were too close. A nice fine indented frame underneath, instead of surrounding the words is perfect!
hahaha I did the same thing... I was thinking about what to do and then remembered the fine frames from Altenew, it made all the difference. I am so happy to help Debi, I'll bet your card is gorgeous!
Therese, you're adorable. Love your introduction, it was lovely to "see" you. Such easy ideas, but goodness, they do have the wow factor. Thank you! :-D
Awesome cards Therese! I love how you used the Santa image for the ’O’, and yes you can see that the’M’ is for merry, as I’ve used the mega M die for my mum’s birthday card...’m’ for mum and also ‘m’ for her name Maisie! 😉❤️
Yes, I wasn't expecting that either until I started putting it together lol. It just seemed to work when I starting playing with the letters. Thanks so much for stopping by today Beth!
No way am I finished, but I am working on them! If thing go as usual, I won’t really need to make new ones next year! (But the bug starts biting around mid-October!)
I live in Australia, Mid North Coast NSW but we have a flat on the Gold Coast that we’ll be able to go to after November 1 hopefully. My question is where can I buy the stamp cover you use - my sweet petunia? I think it’s called. If we can’t get it at a shop somewhere on the Gold Coast, is there somewhere near here that I can buy it? Thanks, love your cards.
Hi Kim, YAY, you must be a neighbour of mine! I believe that you are talking about the MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented), made by My Sweet Petunia. This tool is not cheap but I have found it to be invaluable and one of my most fave tools for papercrafting (apparently the cheaper versions don't compare). I shop at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts and Neha will have it posted to you faster than you can blink lol. But if you want to go to her physical 'store' it's on the South side of Brisbane and I think you just need to make an appointment. There are 2 sizes and I would recommend the 'original' as it is better for techniques etc. I acutally have both the original and the mini version. Also, did you know that there is a new improved 'original' which is the one that Neha sells and I noticed that it is out of stock currently but if you email her she will let you know when it will be back in. I did an 'unboxing' video of mine here ua-cam.com/video/vpcK7NLnNpI/v-deo.html that steps through some of the differences and I think it would be worth the wait for this version. Here is the shop link to the product so you know which one I mean bit.ly/2YtOvqz she also has the 'black' Hero Arts version in the Original size but it doesn't have the new features but I really do like the black colour. This link is an affiliate link so if you didn't want to use that simple search for the tool in her shop and you will find it. I did notice that they had it in stock at Craft Online... but the price isn't as good. Hope this is helpful. Thanks so much for your lovely visit here today, Crafty hugs, Therese
@@lostinpaper Hi Therese, thanks for getting back to me. I have ended up doing almost exactly what you said and it’s meant to arrive today, already!! I only bought it yesterday! I think I got the new one though. I live in Sawtell, just south of Coffs Harbour but we have a place in Surfer’s. Are you close to me? Just wondering if we’re ever in case we’re ever in the same spot in case you do workshops. I’m just getting back into making cards. I did a fair bit of scrapbooking but stopped for a number of years. Felt like making cards again this year. Thanks very much for all the info. Kim

I actually bought the microphone 18 months ago.... I just didn't have time to work out 'how' until now, such a tech phobe lol.
Yup, more beautiful cards to try. I love how you used the "joy" die. Thanks so much for the inspiration Therese!!
Thanks so much Lori!

Love the way you added cool Yule. I wasn’t expecting you to use the L that way. Keep them coming. Christmas will arrive whether we’re ready or not.
Yes, I wasn't expecting that either until I started putting it together lol. It just seemed to work when I starting playing with the letters. Thanks so much for stopping by today Beth!
Just a question, why don’t you stick the foam to the pretty paper and cut at once. That’s what I discovered was easier 🙂
Sounds like a great option.... I never thought to try it. thanks so much Lesley!

I’ve never used felt, wondering won’t it help to adhere to a paper, and then to you card? (As long as you has paper the right colour)
It may have helped and is probably worth a try with such an intricate die cut, thanks for the tip!
💖💖💖🌹🤓
Thanks for all the love today!
