If I was an Asian wrestling fan, I would’ve stopped watching WWE in 2018. Nakamura and Asuka’s Royal Rumble wins were so big, they were placed in the newspaper in their home country of Japan then they go on lose at Wrestlemania that year. I honestly wonder what they thought about that.
I was still pissed that shelton benjamin got released again also musfta ali and nic nemeth he was one of my favorite wrestlers in wwe since team angle hope shelton benjamin goes to tna🔥
Shelton was the golden boy back in like 2004-2010. They gave him multiple pushes and tried to make him a main event guy. He failed because he has zero charisma. He still had multiple runs as IC and US champion. And multiple tag title runs. He just wasn't good enough. Not everyone is a top guy.
Why WE love him because of his WWE run lmfaooooo we wouldn’t be talking bout him constantly if we didn’t love him. WTF 🤣🤣🤣 he’s a success story weirdos. All these guys are it’s just the monopoly known as WWE
LMFAO what are you talking about they tried with Ziggler they gave him the belt what twice and it failed he never drew ratings he never sold tickets and even then they would still throw him in the main event and throw belts on him Ziegler's just terrible.
lmfao.... he failed himself... the man can't speak English. If anything he needed a manager.... but his stupid dancing gimmick walking to the ring was straight trash.
That ship sailed in 2017-18...could've beat Jinder and had a run at the top for years....now all he can hope for is for atleast a token run like Kofi where company throws him bone for years of service @@ericr1048
Finn balor as well I mean as a champ. This man beat Roman reigns in 2015 on his debut on raw. He is in a prominent role with judgement day but he needed to be world champ and already and stayed champ and demon on main roster more.
He beat dragon lee this week to stop the losing streak but still being a finn balor fan is pain I know he is in his 40’s but he can still wrestle like he’s in his 30’s and deserves one more wwe championship reign before he retires.
*The downfall of Shinsuke Nakamura’s WWE rum needs to be studied. He was one of NJPW’s most hottest wrestlers who felt like such a big deal when he came to WWE. In 2017 he was at his most hottest until the company decided to squander his momentum at the expense of Jinder Mahal’s god awful WWE title run which is something I wish we could just erase from our memories.*
If I were to guess then it's one thing why Him being an NXT call up during 2014- mid 2022 and him suffering a curse of being called up but not too long after being booked not so well
Its like they put all of their eggs in the Rick Boogs/Shinske basket. Because after RIck got hurt, Shinske damn near was in catering. I did enjoy when they brought him back with the vignettes but it was bad timing with the wrong people. Cody and Seth?! We all knew he was going to lose.
I kinda feel bad for Nakamura. He was really talented and Decorative (I think), he’s also the same person who defeated John Cena. And he’s getting put out there like a Low Mid Carder. I hope he can make a comeback one day.
For what? I don’t he’s had a successful WWE career. Rumble winner. Ic titles reigns. Great matches not everyone is destined to be world champ in the monopoly known as WWE. Feel bad for him because he's a talentless hack that got pushed into the spotlight when he shouldn't have ever been there I'm tired of hearing about how Nakamura is talented he has no skill or ability.
@@blackAngelProductionsand reigns is so talented? His in ring work is mid at best. His mic skills have improved but he's one dimensional. The best of the best can spit on the mic as a heel or a face Roman reigns has proven he can't go face. Honestly he's not the best heel either. No matter which side he's on he gets the opposite reaction of what he wants. He's a disgrace to the rock as he was never the peoples champion he was Vince and HHHs champion and if people didn't threaten to set WWE on fire if he didn't lose the belt to cody they would of probably seen if they could keep the damn UC belt on him for 2000 days.

I'm so sad about Shinsuke Nakamura, to have seen him a couple times on dark matches, he's completely invested in his gimmick, he's a phenomenal wrestler and he plays so well with the audience. He deserves better !
I doubt it has anything to do with money and more so with how he probably didn't like his later time in AEW especially post Guverra Brawl and how somehow Andrade got punished yet Sammy didn't that and how his significant other is in WWE. Granted so is Buddy Matthew's but it's probably not bothering him too much that him and Rhea are working for different companies
I wouldn't say their doing nothing with him though, he got a return at the royal rumble, had a mania match and won, and it looks like he's gonna be involved in a storyline with Santos Escobar and his faction, which is more than I can say for some of the returns since HHH took over
He never connected with the crowd in either company he is Alberto Del Rio 2.0 just WWE is smart enough not give give him world title and push him to main event he is gonna be major flop
her lost against becky lynch in the pandemic at wrestlemania was a useless decisión cause becky was pregnant she should have just drop the title to shayna, but it was given to Asuka after she won the MITB
I get all the others, but dude, Sheamus just got back from injury not long ago. And Andrade has only been back in WWE for half a year. You expect everyone to just be instantly pushed immediately after they returned? I'm not talking about the other 8. I'm talking only about 2 people in this list

Sheamus has been extremely successful, it was a really weird choice to put him here over someone like Bobby Lashley, who's stuck in a dumb gimmick like the Street Profits. Like we all know what the man is capable of, he can literally walk up and take either main title with ease and no kayfabe in the world can argue against that fact. The man is a unit.
As a person who only really started watching WWE regularly this year (2024), Ricochet quickly became my favorite wrestler. He almost always gets a "This is Awesome" chant in every performance. He's just so fun to watch.
no video ever blames the wrestler... its easier to hate on WWE... they never mention people like other wrestlers better , or fans didnt cheer for them (thats the real reasons why some fail)
i think the problem in triple H era in my opinion, is they too focused to make good guy/girl winning, i know his era is just begining, but making"bad" ending in storyline doesnt make it a bad booking. we need bad guys winning not good guys winning every single story
The problem is the internet overhyped HHH because the internet loved NXT Black and Gold even though it was a massive money pit. HHH inherited a market boom once the Vince scandals came into picture and the wwe brand continues to be more over than the roster under HHH
Are we watching the same WWE? Its only been since WM that the "Good Guys" won ANYTHING. Look at the history of the title holders before that show Roman Reigns - UWUC Gutner - IC Champion Finn Balor and Damian Priest - Undisputed Tag Team Champions Iyo Sky - Woman Champion Smackdown Rhea Ripley Womans Champion Raw Logan "Prime Boy" Paul - US Champion Seth Rollins - WHC About the only "Face" holding a Title was Seth Rollins....and technically he was a Tweener. So I breathed a sigh of relief when Cody, Sammy, R Truth and Miz,and Bailey won. When Rhea went down a Face was allowed to hold it for what? A few WEEKS?! Now Liv Morgan has the championship so the heels ride again. Plus Gutner is about to unseat Damian Priest(or Drew) so the WHC is stuck in Heel territory. They're about to make Bailey job to NIA JAX(or help us PIPER NIVEN) so there goes the Smackdown Womans Championship. Who knows what will happen with Chad Gable and Sammy,or Cody and AJ for that matter. So by this time after Summer Slam, your only Face champs may be Cody and the Awesome Truth tag team(Since Grayson Walwart and Wrestler in Theory NEVER seem to defend their titles), unless of course they have Cody fall to THE FINAL BOSS. I think honestly Hunter doesn't KNOW how to book Babyfaces since he never WAS one. He was always a full out heel or a tweener. I think he believes Heels(or "Anti Heros) are just more interesting. The sites like WL seem to agree with him. I'm just like "Read a book. Good triumphs over Evil in the end and the cycle repeats itself." A heel who perpetually wins(cough...ROMAN...cough) is just boring and after awhile, unrealistic. Darth Vader Loses. Voldemort loses. The Joker loses. Thats why they work. You want to see them come back and find some way to win...eventually...not 10 seconds after the Hero beat them......
You sound dumb 😂Gunther Roman just had long reigns also under him and Rhea would still be champ if she didn’t get hurt Logan Paul and a town down are current champs liv Morgan also a heel is champ Damien priest is champ lmaooo stop talking
@@comicsrcool5483 reigns held both titles hostage for years. The UC title specifically for 1300 days and I believe was heel pretty much that entire run. That guy is an idiot. Public backlash was the only reason that belt got pry'd off of RR as well. They had full intentions to keep him champ at least UC champ for 2000 days. He was literally popular for one year then pretty much every face he stream rolled and people didn't like it.
I love Balor, but he has no charisma either as a face or as a heel, I'm sorry. I mean, of the entire Judgment Day group, he seems the most out of place to me. He doesn't know how to be a good heel. Of course, he can give you a 5-star match at any time. For me, he has two options: get his demon gimmick back or go to a company where he can only give good matches (like he did in NXT). Oh, and that's not a Triple H things bro....

wwe’s treatment of japanese/hispanic wrestlers is so sad to see. and yet for some reason the fans still want guys like okada, naito, penta & fenix, etc to go there when wwe has done nothing but walk all over shinsuke, asuka, dragon lee, andrade, kairi sane, kushida, and way more. had kota ibushi signed with them they’d have probably done the same to him.
sometimes, the WWE puts the Japanese or Latino wrestlers in a tag-team or a stable: (Akira) Tozawa has American Alpha Academy (with Chad Gable, Otis and Maxxine Dupri) and the Latino World Order (with Puerto Rican veteran, Carlito). Not COOL. I remembered Kaientai (Taka Michinoku, Sho "Kung" Funaki), the Mexicools (Psicosis, Super Crazy and Juventud "The Juice" Guerrera) and Los Boricuas (with Savio Vega; another Puerto Rican dude).

Asuka is a multiple time world champion and future WWE hall of Famer, Kairi Sane has been a tag champ and part of a stable that gets lots of TV time. Shinsuke and Andrade is the only one that you can say hasn’t been given a fair shot. Not everyone you like is gonna be a world champion and not everyone deserves to be one. Dragon Lee is also new so give it time.
@@captaincozy4523 yeah asuka is a future hall of famer and kairi is in a good spot right now but in my opinion wwe hasn’t used them to their full potential and thats definitely the case with a ton of other wrestlers. I’m not saying everyone I listed should be a world champion, but it’s obvious wwe has no idea how to utilize them. and yeah I know dragon lee only signed with them in 2022 but it still bugs me that wwe has a habit of throwing japanese and mexican wrestlers into stables/factions when they don’t know what to do with them
Nowadays All but Andrade and Braun I can see. Andrade considering he just returned at Rumble and Braun just returned like 2 weeks ago. But in general with their WWE run majority of them at some point yes
Owens had a match with Stone Cold at Wrestlemania. Something Cena, Punk, Lesnar, Roman, Seth, Orton, Edge, Cody, Drew or any other champion in the past 20 years can't claim.
Absolutely, it was Austin’s Final match (so far?) and it couldn’t have gone better. I cannot only imagine what a privilege KO feels for being selected and the pride in delivering on such an occasion.
For real. The fact that he thinks that "WWE failed KO" because he wasn't a multi-times World champion from that list is BS, he's LITERALLY the only Wrestler IN MONDERN DAY that can say they FACE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN and truly be his FINAL OPPONENT at Wrestlemania. Facing Stone Cold and be his truly final opponent (so far, although I do think its one time thing, Austin said it himself that he doesn't want to take the spotlight from current WWE wrestlers) is better accomplishment than any world championships
I mean that's cool and all. But on all these top 10 lists I don't see one about "guys who had the honors of a retirement match". It's a nice personal accomplishment but to imply KO should be satisfied with that and a couple very short title runs is laughable.
Cesaro, Miz, to an extent Drew Mcintyre, Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Zach Ryder, Luke"Brodie Lee" Harper, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, CM Punk....hell just name MOST of the people who left for good or who left and came back...heck add Cody to that list and Brian Danielson. You can even add Luke Gallows ,Karl Anderson, Xavier Woods, Natalya... Its a HUGE list. Sadly I wonder if this time next year, Illya Drangaoff, Carmelo Hayes ,Lyra Valkeria, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargil will be added to this list.
Stop it these guys are not on Roman's level you really believe a guys like Ricochet can carry the undisputed title? Lmao. Nakamura "maybe" but its already too late his time was vs AJ and Vince obviously failed him.
@@GetdonkedOn That´s the problem if you put two titles on a guy and market him as unbeatable. Roman would have done damn fine with one title. No need to push him that high, even less after he went part time and only had like 10 matches per year...
WWE have made more money with the Four Horsewomen, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and now Liv Morgan than Shayna Baszler has ever did while she was being overpushed in nxt
Dude she was literally champ not too long ago like women’s champ and on top of that she’s been booked as tag champ until she got injured and couldn’t wrestle anymore. She was women’s champ for 70 days which is pretty nice considering she already had a 231 day reign back in 2020. You need to learn what destroyed means cause asuka has been at the top and will remain there.
@@IXCANADATV cause y’all are stupid and think if she’s not booked to your liking her career was destroyed. They had her unbeaten in nxt and she only lost the title due to injury not even being beaten for it. They gave her an over 200 day reign as champ then a few years later gave her another 70 days. They destroyed a lot of stars career but not asuka or kairi.
He trash tho he was only good in tna because it was a small pond and he was a so called big fish but in WWE there's plenty of big fish he just can't swim with them

He's time to shine keeps dwindling away....they kept teasing a singles push ,and put him in elimination chamber ...than just dropped everything and made him a pure tag guy again......trick Williams is starting to look more and more fitting at the top than Montez ..thanks to wwes bad booking
@@khesipresents1885 Trick Williams is so over that if he gets to the main roster it is over for Montez. I don't think Montez can match Trick's hype. WWE should have split the Street Profits some time ago
I feel its worth mentioning some guys are just fine in their role and aren’t at all interested in being thrust into the “that guy” role. It was Balor who recently shared that sentiment wholeheartedly and it wouldnt be surprising if others felt the same way.
I disagree with Sheamus being included here. Yes, recent booking has left a lot to be desired but overall his career has been nothing short of great/legendary.
2:37 This one really hurts considering how unstoppable Shayna was in NXT she should've been Women's Championship at least 5 Times by now. But WWE once again dropped the ball & not even beating Ronda Rousey at Summerslam was enough to get her over anymore.
That's because the main roster exposed Shayna that she's not really meant to be a big star unlike what they tried to show in NXT. Like literally she's one of the most boring wrestlers in the roster right now, and they even have the guts to pair her with Zoey, who is much worse than her.
It is important to remember there is a fixed amount of space for stories and a lot of talent. In addition, physical theater/wrestling has to re-write stories constantly due to injury. That does not mean that every bad booking is due to injury and time constraints, but it is important factors. In addition, signings may disrupt existing plans, and that means reshuffling, or that the new talent has to wait for months until room exists for a new plotline. That said, I am often scratching my head trying to figure out what has happened, but the current happenings makes mostly sense due to the frequent issues with signings and injury.
Feel like some of those are mainly to due with creative changing and plans most likely being changed once Triple H took over. With Andrade too early to tell considering he's been back in the company for less than a year kinda similar with Nakamura
Also LA Knight. If they didn’t have him lose to Roman Reigns to stop his massive push into the spotlight, he could have been the next biggest superstar
I think he use of the Rock and Austin's mannerisms holding him making him lose to Reigns. He's limited like Duggan was in 80's with USA gimmick, limited. Knight needs his own gimmick especially with Rock being a board member on TKO. He's probably not happy Knight uses his mannerisms.
@@gsinghjay Agreed he will win the US Title, but in order to be in the same league as Roman and Cody he needs his own mannerism and not Rock/Austin's. That's what WWE management feels. I'm guessing.
Meanwhile Logan Paul is the Us champ wrestling every 6 months that’s straight disrespectful to everyone on this list actually grinding their way up the ladder he needs to lose it ASAP
How many people are gonna keep saying he was booked to lose to edge? They called a damn audible because Finn got busted open badly and that’s where his 13 stitches shirt came from was due to this match. There’s been no official word that the demon was supposed to lose the match yall just run with it because he lost, not paying attention at all to the match and what happened.
Dolph Ziggler is another example for what they did to Shinzuke. They never really allowed him to shine on the top level and at some point fans just knew to not expect him to surpass midcard level no matter how good he wrestled. Another one would be the Big Show who they randomly turned face or heel so often nobody cared about his character anymore.
Ngl, Shinsuke Nakamura not being as good in WWE as he was in NJPW is like the same with Jinsei Shinzaki in AJPW but here in the states he is known as Hakushi, he was an amazing aerial savvy Japanese wrestler who was known for his top rope walking like a tightrope and wrestled with some of the greatest in AJPW, but when he was in WWE, he had a meaningless feud with Bret Hart and ended up being a Babyface Jobber with Barry Horowitz of all people.
Nakumaras best run was when he was a heel giving out Nutsasha's. His heel character was perfect. It made me tune in. It's a shame WWE let's so many good characters and wrestlers go to the wayside because right now they need legit contenders for top guys. Yes these top guys are gonna get the nod but they have no real challengers. 😊
Pretty much all of these are not superstars that WWE failed, they just aren't top level guys. They are pretty much just mid to low card talent. Sheamus and Kevin Owens have been WWE champions so I dont get how thats a failure. The rest just dont have that connection with the fans and lack mic skills. Richocet is a perfect example of a guy that is a talented athlete but his mic skills are horrible and doesn't connect with the fans, the fans only cheer when he does a cool move thats it.
Exactly! And, there used to be no shame in being a midcarder, or being a fan of a midcarder. Nowadays, fans seem to need their favorite(s) to be in the main event picture, and if it doesn't happen, then WWE 'failed them'.
Hearing this about Nakamura is crazy as someone who was watching WWE/NXT when he joined and went to the main roster but stopped watching in like 2019. He was so over, I didn't know him prior but became a big fan in no time.
They gave him the Rumble victory. A wrestlemania title match and back to back matches against AJ Styles in pay per views. They again took a shot at him with Seth Rollins feud last year. How many more chances does he needs to excel?
They gave him tons of chances. He just never got over with people who weren't into him already from NJPW. The Average WWE fan doesn't care about people who can't cut a promo.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Shayna Baszler is really one of the most underrated women’s wrestlers they have on that show. She could be having great feuds for the women’s title with some of the biggest singles women's wrestlers they have on their but instead they want to have her just compete in the tag division. If I was her, I would ask for my release at this point. They clearly don’t want to make her a huge singles star so there is no point in staying (aside from money). That goes for the other wrestlers they have on their that have potentially to be huge singles stars for them but instead are being kept in the lower mid card.
When The Miz turned babyface, someone was going to have to take his place as the heel jobber who always loses his feuds. Guess who had to be that guy? Shinsuke! I predicted that Shinsuke was going to lose all his feuds when this happened and I turned out to be right!
Andrade really left aew to go back to the wwe and get into the latino vortex with the lwo vs legedo del fantasma never ending feud and now is wrestling on “wwe speed” vs karl anderson on twitter😂.
Nearly every Latino on WWE has a "Latino" gimmick. The only one who doesn't really have it is Damian Priest. He shows elements of his Puerto Rican heritage but it is not his gimmick. Which I think is a good thing
One thing that is always left out of videos like this, is the fact that there are tons of wrestlers that are role wrestlers, and that's what they want to be. They don't want to win championships. They want to help others win championships and make them look good. Not every wrestler wants to be world champion. Tommy Dreamer is a perfect example. He was totally embarrassed to win the ECW championship, and was forced to win it. There are dozens and dozens of wrestlers just like Dreamer. They just want to do their part and just help.
definitely not AEW - there'd been parade of 'wasted talent' that's gone there, but most of them either didn't excel or they fell to a lower level than they already were in WWE. Ricochet might ascend higher, because he's a high flyer, but no one else should. Heck, Andrade already tried it and became miserable and frustrated.
Kofi was screwed long before he won the championship. I mention it every year, when his Royal Rumble appearance has nothing to do with winning the match. It’s more important for him to get that save moment, and then be an afterthought for the next few minutes, and get thrown out in unspectacular fashion.
Maybe do another video giving fantasy booking on how these people should be booked and who would they replace. Raw is a three hour show with certain number of minutes. How should they be spread? 180 minutes but commercials take something away.
I thought the squash did make sense: in the years prior he was winning as a part of The New Day but as a tag team it was almost always Kofi or Xavier teaming up with Big E and the matches basically went the same: Kofi or Xavier would start the match, they would get the crap beat out of them, they are pretty much within seconds of losing the bout... and then the hot tag, Big E comes in, beats the opponents up and then tags in Xavier or Kofi to do some mop up duty when the other team is beaten down. So his problem as a single champion was that he didn't have Big E there to save his butt.
Lmao it makes perfect sense. A legit MMA fighter squashing a man almost 100 pounds lighter than him? That was the most realistic booking in recent years.
Think a lot of what happened to Shinsuke Nakamura is due to personal issues from another wrestler. If I remember correctly, there was a botched move that the other wrestler complained and Nakamura got punished for it by reducing his push, which is why he’s at the position he’s in now. It’s completely wrong of WWE to do that to him, especially since a botch can happen but it doesn’t need to go that far to ruin his run like that
Mjf won’t sign unless he gets a push around Cody’s level they will have to pay a lot of money to get him if they really want him and his mic skills are really good he will be right in the main event scene
One thing about the WWE is that there isn't much room in the main event picture, only for a few guys at a time. So a lot of main event level talent gets stuck at the mid card, it's not always a case of them being screwed over by the execs (though that does sometimes happen). You make some good points in your video, but I don't think that all the wrestlers you listed have necessarily been "failed", many fans still see KO as a legend of the business and at the end of the day doesn't that mean more than holding the big belt? Plus I think Ricochet might still have a title run, if he doesn't get completely buried against Bron Breaker lol
Omos is boring to me. There is not a lot you can do storyline wise with some 7 foot guy who just tosses people. He also doesn't talk on the mic. People say what about Big Show, Great Khali, etc. Big Show has character and Khali is an exception that I believe he debuted at the right place and right time. I'm surprised Omos has not been released yet
Next time this video is done, you should also mention who’s place they should’ve taken (basically, wrestlers who are given chances but aren’t that good enough)
I'm glad you mentioned Montez, he really should've been pushed as a solo star a while ago. He should've some type of run at a championship or something 🤦🏾♀🤦🏾♀🤦🏾♀
WWE should now be called world wrestling endorsements. They are more worried about product placements and commercial spots than putting on wrestling matches.
Honestly for Shinsuke, it would be be great if WWE brought Funaki back to be his manager. I believe that will help him elevate a bit. Any thoughts guys?
@@khesipresents1885 Yep. WWE doesn't want to pull the trigger on a Montez singles run for some reason. The guy has great in ring ability and talk on the mic. Like what gives?
@@Hknasw I don't get it either. A lot literally BEGGING for a Montez single's run. His wife Bianca had single's runs and a tag title run (which have been awesome to watch), it's about time he gets that treatment also or WWE is gonna continue to waste his years with the company
Nakamura is still my all time favorite talent. I hope he's happy since he's up there in years but its so sad to compare the hype of acquiring him and what he used to be.
It is great that wwe in this era was able to book several very long title reigns and wrestlers being defeated for a long time.. However the downside of this is that the other wrestlers just becomes fodder for this "super" Wrestlers just to make them look stronger.
Honorable mention: Samoa Joe In TNA/Impact wrestling: Great wrestler, held some titles (did he win their World title?) In WWE: nothing (what happened?)
I notice that Wrestling fans dont like long term story telling. They want ppl to be resigned and immediately go into a major feud, as if there is not stories currently going on. Some of these ppl have been under used tho
A lot of these guys have no charisma or are getting ready for retirement. Compare them to LA Knight at you'll see that it more than just in ring skills in the modern age of wrestling
I remember watching NXT more than 5 years ago and not wanting any of my favs like Asuka, Shinsuke to go up the main roster because they will be tossed and wasted like they did to Gail Kim.
I agree with Nakamura being at number 1. His NXT run was really the best that a wwe fan can see. I just loved that match he had with Sami Zayn. That was an awesome debut match.
It’s funny because a lot of these started with Vince. However, Triple H has failed some stars too we can’t forget that. What’s interesting with H is that he’s mostly failed the people he brought back. Tegan Nox, Dexter Lumis, DIY, Candace Larae, LA Knight (I count him because he saved him from the Max Dupree thing and redebuted him as LA Knight), Bray Wyatt. Although with Bray, nobody could’ve known what was gonna happen with his health. RIP to him
Shinsuke is hyped because of his theme. He's okay in the right, but for the most part the crowd is dead while he's wrestling. He can't really cut a promo either, so what are they supposed to do? Come to think of it, know what I noticed about this whole list? It's a bunch of people who can't cut promos. That's a huge part of getting over in WWE and always has been. You can't have half the package and expect the full pop unless you're some freak of nature compared to others out there like a Brock, Goldberg, Bron Breakker, etc.
It’s sad that they both lost

Shelton was the golden boy back in like 2004-2010. They gave him multiple pushes and tried to make him a main event guy. He failed because he has zero charisma. He still had multiple runs as IC and US champion. And multiple tag title runs. He just wasn't good enough. Not everyone is a top guy.

*The downfall of Shinsuke Nakamura’s WWE rum needs to be studied. He was one of NJPW’s most hottest wrestlers who felt like such a big deal when he came to WWE. i think the problem in triple H era in my opinion, is they too focused to make good guy/girl winning, i know his era is just begining, but making"bad" ending in storyline doesnt make it a bad booking. we need bad guys winning not good guys winning every single story
Look at the history of the title holders before that show
Roman Reigns - UWUC
Gutner - IC Champion
Finn Balor and Damian Priest - Undisputed Tag Team Champions
Iyo Sky - Woman Champion Smackdown
Rhea Ripley Womans Champion Raw
Logan "Prime Boy" Paul - US Champion
Seth Rollins - WHC
About the only "Face" holding a Title was Seth Rollins....and technically he was a Tweener.

2:37 This one really hurts considering how unstoppable Shayna was in NXT she should've been Women's Championship at least 5 Times by now. But WWE once again dropped the ball & not even beating Ronda Rousey at Summerslam was enough to get her over anymore.
Maybe the problem is Shayna isn't that big of a star that nxt pretended she was
That's because the main roster exposed Shayna that she's not really meant to be a big star unlike what they tried to show in NXT.

One of the biggest fails wwe has is Ec3 one of the best talkers in the business at the time and made him a mute.

Nakamura to tna or nxt

@@jvomkrieg Otis can't cut promo but fans react to him..fans are picky
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Shayna Baszler is really one of the most underrated women’s wrestlers they have on that show. She could be having great feuds for the women’s title with some of the biggest singles women's wrestlers they have on their but instead they want to have her just compete in the tag division. If I was her, I would ask for my release at this point. They clearly don’t want to make her a huge singles star so there is no point in staying (aside from money). That goes for the other wrestlers they have on their that have potentially to be huge singles stars for them but instead are being kept in the lower mid card.
She sucks
Bro the WWE needs to try harder to work on talent and not focus on the same people over and over again.
They been doing that casual stop internet watching and watch the product
@@Dre384 yet there’s a lot of people stuck in catering doing nothing you just don’t notice it I guess.
A video on Wrestlers who reached their potential would make so much sense
There should be about 1000 names on this list 😆🤣
Yeah Shinsuke def got lost in the shuffle. Him and R-Truth would be a great odd couple tag team to push then spin off into serious singles runs.
Current roster of Indian and Mexican wrestlers should make this list
One thing that is always left out of videos like this, is the fact that there are tons of wrestlers that are role wrestlers, and that's what they want to be. They don't want to win championships. They want to help others win championships and make them look good. Not every wrestler wants to be world champion. Tommy Dreamer is a perfect example. He was totally embarrassed to win the ECW championship, and was forced to win it. There are dozens and dozens of wrestlers just like Dreamer. They just want to do their part and just help.
All 10 Wrestlers should go to other wrestling promotions like AEW or TNA?
Shayna in Tna 🔥🔥🔥🔥
definitely not AEW - there'd been parade of 'wasted talent' that's gone there, but most of them either didn't excel or they fell to a lower level than they already were in WWE.
Yes! My favorite UA-camr has come back! Wrestlelamia!
Maybe do another video giving fantasy booking on how these people should be booked and who would they replace. Raw is a three hour show with certain number of minutes. How should they be spread? 180 minutes but commercials take something away.
Still Brock squashed Kofi in 8 seconds made 0 sense
I thought the squash did make sense: in the years prior he was winning as a part of The New Day but as a tag team it was almost always Kofi or Xavier teaming up with Big E and the matches basically went the same: Kofi or Xavier would start the match, they would get the crap beat out of them, they are pretty much within seconds of losing the bout... and then the hot tag, Big E comes in, beats the opponents up and then tags in Xavier or Kofi to do some mop up duty when the other team is beaten down.
So his problem as a single champion was that he didn't have Big E there to save his butt.
And Kofi was even ok with it too
Ah yes, the F-5 of doom.
Lmao it makes perfect sense. A legit MMA fighter squashing a man almost 100 pounds lighter than him? That was the most realistic booking in recent years.
Mercy kill since Kofimania was one of the biggest flops ever.
Angelo Dawkins is overlooked and great individually no doubt but Montez has EVERYTHING necessary to be a main eventer.
Shinsuke Nakamura should return to NJPW
He should also go to AJPW, NOAH WRESTLING, and DDT Wrestling
Think a lot of what happened to Shinsuke Nakamura is due to personal issues from another wrestler. If I remember correctly, there was a botched move that the other wrestler complained and Nakamura got punished for it by reducing his push, which is why he’s at the position he’s in now. It’s completely wrong of WWE to do that to him, especially since a botch can happen but it doesn’t need to go that far to ruin his run like that
If MJF jumps to WWE he will be midcarder or a jobber
I don't think anyone would be that stupid lol. I don't even think MJF would sign unless they promised him a Cody Rhodes level push
@TheJonas973 which I'm sure they'll give to him. Who wouldnt
@@TheJonas973comparing MJF to Cody is bizarre.
Mjf won’t sign unless he gets a push around Cody’s level they will have to pay a lot of money to get him if they really want him and his mic skills are really good he will be right in the main event scene
I easily think they will get him but he curses a lot and has gone off script a lot idk how that’ll work with wwe
Omos is super green in the ring
Yup
But why remove MVP on TV ...when he can manage so many guys.... someone backstage has a problem with mvp
Ya he doesn't need be in wwe anymore
Omos is boring to me. There is not a lot you can do storyline wise with some 7 foot guy who just tosses people. He also doesn't talk on the mic. People say what about Big Show, Great Khali, etc. Big Show has character and Khali is an exception that I believe he debuted at the right place and right time. I'm surprised Omos has not been released yet
It’s omos time for him to be released 😂.
Next time this video is done, you should also mention who’s place they should’ve taken (basically, wrestlers who are given chances but aren’t that good enough)
Wwe didn’t fail sheamus WE THE FANS FAILED HIM
I'm glad you mentioned Montez, he really should've been pushed as a solo star a while ago. He should've some type of run at a championship or something 🤦🏾♀🤦🏾♀🤦🏾♀
Andrade deserves more😭
As for Nakamura I think he needs to go to another wrestling company maybe he will be appreciated more
boring as hell and cant even cut a promo .
WWE should now be called world wrestling endorsements. They are more worried about product placements and commercial spots than putting on wrestling matches.
Sound slow
Ricochet better join TNA at this point & thrive like Mustafa Ali
Honestly for Shinsuke, it would be be great if WWE brought Funaki back to be his manager. I believe that will help him elevate a bit.
Any thoughts guys?
Angelo is holding Montez back
Booking is holding back Montez..not angelo
@@khesipresents1885 Yep. WWE doesn't want to pull the trigger on a Montez singles run for some reason. The guy has great in ring ability and talk on the mic. Like what gives?
@@Hknasw what gives is lazy creative who are comfortable in calling back aging guys like the rock instead of building new stars...
I dont agree with this list at all. Failing is a reach. Kofi and Sheamus are done. Nakamura and Ricochet can't talk.
Kofi is too busy being happy with his stereotypical caricature gimmick
👇 like if you love Wrestling!
You gotta remember, not everyone can be pushed
Overrated Nakamura
Nakamura is one of the most charisatic stars ever had classics in japan classics in nxt he is a japanesse legand
@@kevinzurita9731 Its not relevant what he did in Japan. Ever since he joined main roster, he haven't delivered any great matches or promos.
It is great that wwe in this era was able to book several very long title reigns and wrestlers being defeated for a long time.. However the downside of this is that the other wrestlers just becomes fodder for this "super" Wrestlers just to make them look stronger.
I'm still salty Adam Cole didn't debut on the main roster
Honorable mention: Samoa Joe
In TNA/Impact wrestling: Great wrestler, held some titles (did he win their World title?)
In WWE: nothing (what happened?)
I notice that Wrestling fans dont like long term story telling. They want ppl to be resigned and immediately go into a major feud, as if there is not stories currently going on. Some of these ppl have been under used tho
Yeah no doubt. I think it's a rough job to try to pack all these folks into two one and a half hour shows each week.
Montzd Ford being a singles wrestler would be good that's like saying Dominik joining judgement day was one of his best decisions
Man, when Nakamura came into NXT, I didn't know him. However, he quickly became my favorite wrestler. It is criminal the way he has been treated.
Okay do you expect Andrade to just get back and be booked into the main event scene
I was hoping Batista would be done justice in his final run
Wwe has soo much talent. Wouldn’t mind some more mid card titles. Cruiserweight, Extreme, etc.
I agree with Nakamura being at number 1. His NXT run was really the best that a wwe fan can see. I just loved that match he had with Sami Zayn. That was an awesome debut match.
My man Nakamura was just a DAMN tragedy 😭😭😭
It’s funny because a lot of these started with Vince. However, Triple H has failed some stars too we can’t forget that. What’s interesting with H is that he’s mostly failed the people he brought back. Tegan Nox, Dexter Lumis, DIY, Candace Larae, LA Knight (I count him because he saved him from the Max Dupree thing and redebuted him as LA Knight), Bray Wyatt. Although with Bray, nobody could’ve known what was gonna happen with his health. RIP to him
The media loves to complain about the stupidest stuff 🤦♂️
They need a 3rd major brand. Not a development brand but an actual new brand. They have too much talent and not enough screen time
Shinsuke is hyped because of his theme.
