HHH was jealous that he was more popular than him and had a bigger following than him and went out of his way to try and halt his momentum to the main event. He was insecure that he'd lose his spot to him for sure.
Batista confirmed that he was always the original member of Evolution. The reason why Jindrak was there was because Batista got injured and they just tested if they can move ahead without Batista. But it didn't feel right so they just waited for Batista to recover before introducing Evolution later. He said this in his recent interview with Chris Van Vilet.

The fact that Vince and Cena buried Barrett and the Nexus in such a horrid fashion and then have the audacity to freakin try to recapture that once in a lifetime moment by basically recycling Barrett and the Nexus guys in a bunch of trash factions is truly just crazy
I like that Bret Hart, Stone Cold & The Rock aren't on the list, I watched those guys in their prime and felt they left everyone that they worked with better than they found them. Even if Stone Cold was just walking out to stun people at random, it gave them a rub rather than buried them because it put eyes on them and showed they were in a spot worthy of Stone Cold's notice. Bret made everyone look good no matter what and The Rock seemed to enjoy giving and was willing to drop a title to anyone, and his programmes with lower card guys was such fun, like the one with The Hurricane. You don't need to cut people's legs out or steal their shine to be a huge respected star but I guess some stars are insecure and do it.
Hhh didn’t hijack jindrak. Orton and jindrak was a bad combo. Both were very immature. Jindrak and Orton admitted they couldn’t hang out as they would have too much fun and not enough work.
I think it’s fair to say that Triple H rejecting that guy in favor of Batista and how well it ended up working was when Vince realized that he had his heir
Same credible source that they used to blame HHH also says the WWE had justification for dropping Hardy, but narrator still says they had no justification.
Jindrak, behind the scenes, was said to be immature. Not only that he and Randy were too similar. I don't believe Trips tried to hijack Jeff, he was looking out for the company. After he left in '09, a month later, Jeff got busted for possession.
Jindrak was just standing for Batista cause of his injury. He debuted with Randy to form Evolution and add Rick later but then again cause of said injury,Jindrak stepped in.
You're wrong about number 10. Batista was already apart of Evolution but him and Randy got hurt and Batista got hurt again right before he was about to come back. so they were going to replace him with Jindrak

I remember that women’s title exchange segment. To this day Charlotte likes to claim that she accidentally dropped the belt and didn’t intentionally mean to go off script. But considering the fact she gave Becky a dirty look after dropping belt, along with the fact that it look liked she did drop the belt on purpose in the video, and after hearing Becky’s side of the story, I think Charlotte’s claims are a load of bs.
Forever glad Lesnar hijacked Mahal.
His match with AJ was so damn good. The pain on his face during the calf crusher
Brock hijacking Jinder's run was a good call because Jinder really wasn't top guy material he was only put in that spot because WWE wanted some of that sweet sweet money from India
He was a DEI cash cow to dupe India lol. It didn’t even work cause he wasn’t over AT. Not even over there.
Brock screwed over Wyatt, Lashley & Moxley though.
The worst being hijacking Ali
John Cena wanted to play hero for the kids in 2010 and Alex Riley had so much potential
Alex potential was a mid card jobber.
Nexus would've been bigger faction
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333 Definitely Not Bigger Than The Bloodline
@@malone4735go f off with that samoan swamp rats!
too many of em, roman reigns is the most overrated wrestler ever.
worse than hogan!
Should’ve been a bigger faction.
Nexus was awful. If it succeeded Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt etc. never would've reached the main event. Without the Wyatt family stars like Braun Strowman wouldn't have reached the same heights either
@@SW51299every take you have about them is just so objectively false. You are so in up your own arse about it now.
Ngl, It’s really sad about what happened with Wade and Alex, both probably would’ve been champions or had a bigger impact
This is exactly why we need a company like AEW, a rival promotion like WCW once was. So that if a wrestler feels he/she is being sabotaged, they can move on to different options. Stars like Wade Barrett could've been bigger if the WWE had a direct competitor half as big as theirs.
Jeff Hardy was way popular in 2008
He was WAY over but H wasn’t happy about it and politicked his way of having Jeff lose the belt so quick and in a lack luster way
@@JShadow6661 I mean HHH was right in a long run Jeff isn't reliable to be a champion due to his drug addition issues and why he decided to not extended the contract back in 2009 and boy what a downhill turned for him
Hardy should have went into Mania 25 as champion. He could have faced Christian, Edge and Matt in a fatal 4 way.
I had a feeling Charlotte flair and Becky Lynch was going to be in this list and I was right
For Woman the biggest offenders of doing this.
Charlotte is overrated
And Becky doesn't need to do crap to her face
Your mom is overrated
Jinder Mahal was awful champ
Couldn’t agree with you more. For my money, the worst world champion in the history of pro wrestling. It’s so baffling to me that people look back in hindsight at his championship run like it was actually good, which is extremely ridiculous.
No he wasn’t
Don’t hinder the Jinder
I like Mahal as champion.
So was Kofi
damn son why is the undertaker making hulk hogan lie like that
Lol
Alex Riley had potential to be single star
Yup
9:04 oh you got me brother!
2014 it was amazing seeing lesner is back...but it got frustrating when he got the belt & everything else whilst being a part-timer...😑
This makes me dislike certain wrestlers and wrestling itself. I wouldn’t tolerate this politicking, especially if it was against me or to my detriment.
Honorable mentioned:
1. HBK hijacked Vader - Summerslam 1996
2. HHH hijacked Goldberg - Summerslam 2003
3. Steve Austin hijacked HHH - Summerslam 1999
4. Rey Mysterio hijacked Dolph Ziggler - Summerslam 2009
I'm pretty sure Triple H hijacking Goldberg wasn't his fault.
@@fro-zone2k It was HHH's fault. Vince McMahon wanted HHH to drop the title to Goldberg at Summerslam, knowing HHH had a groin injury, but he didn't want to do it. That's why Goldberg resented HHH all these years.
@@nwo2cool That's not what I heard, I heard that Goldberg said "No" Mr. McMahon and as a punishment, he had him loose shot at SummerSlam
@@fro-zone2k There were backstage politics where HHH used his power to ruin Goldberg's Summerslam moment by winning the title. Hunter used his power to retain the title. The original plan was supposed to be a 1 on 1 match between HHH vs Goldberg at SS. When Hunter refused to lay down for Goldberg, Vince had to change the match into a Elimination Chamber match.
@@nwo2cool Uh yeah, the period of 2001-2004 was all about backstage politics
I remember when your channel started and it was... rough. it wasnt the content, it was just how you presented everything. I just went down a rabbithole on your recent videos and they have gotten sooo good. Well done. Subscribing.
07:45 Alex Riley was on fiiiire, it was crazy to see someone build that much momentum and fan support so quickly just to get it snatched away. In that era, he was running hot like a modern day LA Knight or Cody Rhodes compared to todays time. Fans really wanted to see him pushed.
H, Hogan, Cena the biggest criminals in doing this
HHH and Chris Jericho comes to mind. Sure he's insufferable today..but back then Jericho was red hot and was mega over. HHH was jealous that he was more popular than him and had a bigger following than him and went out of his way to try and halt his momentum to the main event. He was insecure that he'd lose his spot to him for sure.
That's true. In fact, HHH never properly put Jericho over.
@@ShinRyojin Exactly. Jericho never got a clean cut victory over him.
I think "derailed" or "undermined" would be a better choice of word than "hijacked" because most of these couldn't be described as hijacking.
Batista was originally part of Evolution. It was after he got injured that they contemplated replacing him with Mark.
Taker : “you’re not cena “ was a perfect response because it was so accurate if you read between the lines.
And Freddie Prinze Jr. gave us and Jeff Hardy what we wanted to see, Jeff Hardy winning the WWE title ✌️
The undertaker and cm punk beef has already been debunked
7:00 thank you lesnar
I spit out my coffee 😂😂
Batista confirmed that he was always the original member of Evolution. The reason why Jindrak was there was because Batista got injured and they just tested if they can move ahead without Batista. But it didn't feel right so they just waited for Batista to recover before introducing Evolution later. He said this in his recent interview with Chris Van Vilet.
Didn't Hogan hijacked Bret Hart from having success in WWF or WCW?
Not a wrestler HHH fan, but his burials make sense in the long run..both rvd and jeff Hardy had issues..and even if I like them, especially jeff, it will be hard for a company to trust them as their top champions..
Evolution could have been 5 members keeping Jindrak.
The FANS hijacked Mahal setting up Brock v Styles at Survivor Series.
We love Cena more than much.
But personally, i haven't really let it go about Cena burying Nexus. I'm sorry. Even after a decade.
Honest half of this these backstage powers moments is one of the big reasons why WWE couldn't go over another level
In retrospect, Triple H was right about Jeff as hard as that is to say
I loooooved evolution there t-shirt with 4 skeletons was genius I brought 3 1 framed 1 to wear out and 1 for work 😊😅
I think it was a blessing in disguise to not have Riddle win the Rumble lol
Man I wish Riddle won 2022 rumble
I feel like there’s no way Riddle was going to win the Royal Rumble
I would have loved to see Matt riddle win the rumble. Wish Brock Lesnar wasn't selfish
He isn't because he would win every single match if he was.
He's not selfish he just didn't see riddle as a big star and he was right riddle turned out to be a waste
I kinda look at the Mark switch for Batista similar to the Chris Hero swap for Roman for The Shield.
Not Selfish Just Straight Up Jealousy.💯🤦🏿
Triple h
Hulk hogan
Brock lesnar
John cena
They act nice on tv but in real life they are self centered
Lesnar literally put over so many talents roman, seth, braun, drew, cody literally made them stars how is he self centred just because of that one sucker riddle??
Im not suprised hull hogan is on this list honestly he could fill the entire list
Jeff Hardy could never be the face of a TV-PG WWE.
Triple H must’ve seen those same demons in his old friends and knew where he was headed.
If only Jeff could see the writing on the walls.
Bs people want to blame cena it's honestly pathetic af at this point
I love how undertaker just made no sense 😂 just admit you didn’t like punk.
If you are a leader and want everyone to follow the rules. Punk was right
Cena needs to follow as well. If not is called favoritism. Simple as that. No excuses.
Batista despite all hos arrogance in the WWE ring, definitely was one of the biggest stars in 2005, which means it was the absolute correct move. Proving Triple H had foresight even way back then with Talent.
Cena and Triple H are the reason the 2010s were kinda rough, imagine the kind of stars we were robbed of. if only their egos were checked.
Charlotte was another nepotism product,,yes she is talented but is she talented enough to get 10/9 + champions??? Meeeh...
Yeap she's definitely nepo baby. Yes she has talented for sure, but she wouldn't be push as much if it wasn't her last name.
With all due respect to riddle, he got what he deserved, because he was so obsessed with Brock Lesnar and ending Brock's carrier and obviously that didn't sit well with Lesnar
You got the first one wrong ' batista was already chosen for evolution ' then he n randy were injured ' they were going to replace batista with jindrak because batista re-injured himself working out too soon ' then jindrak and randy were like a pair of kids together ' even jindrak agreed they made the right choice ' he said he wasn't ready ' he said he was immature ' so finally mcmahan decided he was out and then batista came back anyway
Mahal talked about the match when he got released and even he knew that was the right call. He said it would’ve just been him getting squashed by Brock, suplex after suplex into F5 maybe 2. Aj vs Brock was just the better call cause while some people might’ve hated Jinder enough to be entertained by him getting squashed, Aj vs Brock was just so much better
This is what I fear some wrestlers will tried to do to me.
Yeah I didn't agree with cena, Wade Barrett should of gone over.
First one is hilarious, even Jindrak has admitted that he was too immature to have been in the group😂😂
I always thought that Kurt Angle stable was a rip off Evolution
Luther Reigns was Batista and Mark Jimdrak was Batista and Kurt was Triple H
Hogan "Hijacking" Taker's success would imply that he actually damaged Taker's career which he didn't, but Wrestlelamia will take every chance to cry about Hulk Hogan
