Niacinamide can be freely used in pregnancy whereas salicylic acid may not be recommended so far by dermatologist unless you take their suggestions.

Niacinamide gives me breakouts. I have used 2,5,10 and even 15%. They give glow, get rid of marks but oh god give me severe cystic acnes!
Dont use such brands which give more than 5% conc of niacinamide
