Genuinely one of my favorite artists with and without his old band. Angel Down is one of my favorite records ever and his new stuff sounds great so far! This one really clicked with me immediately.

Now don't get me wrong, I have really liked the last few Seb albums, but I love the direction he seems to be taking on this new album. Both singles so far sound a lot more like classic Skid Row era rather than the heavier tone he has had in recent years. A lot more melodic.

bach bringing back rock
It's so interesting to read his lyrics and listen to interviews, Sebastian is the widest open book in history. It's as if he's using the world as a therapy session, and I can't describe how peculiar it is to follow up his growth and development. He called it the child within the man, but I always had the impression that he is a child, up front, and back and from all sides, he's only heart and emotions, like children. That's basically what we see, he plays and sings, but singing is kind of playing for him, and he really enjoys connecting with people, through fun and seduction (not in sexual sense). I feel sort of proud of the awareness that he shows with this music. Bach is the ultimately relatable guy and i can't help but feel drawn to his persona. This song is awesome, production is great (maybe less compression would be good?), and as always the singing is Sebastian (that is a adjective, it means better than most and at the same time whole hearted and like a punch). He's growing as an artist, and I'm very happy I get to enjoy his journey.
After all these long years, I'm glad you're still around making good tunes. Been a fan of yours since the Skid Row days and I will remain as such until the day I die. Cheers, Sebastian!

..mate..I f***in love this song...can not wait to hear the whole album ..Sebastian is such a full on Rock n Roller man..I have loved his voice and songs since '89 when I heard the cassette, in my mates car, he cranked up the volume ..BANG! Big Guns kicks off..I was hooked that day..saw them at Festival Hall in Melbourne May 13th 1990 Youth Gone Wild Tour..few years later saw them at Calder Park Raceway with Pearls and Swine, Rose Tattoo and Guns n Roses in front of 100,000 AUSSIE METALHEADS..it was hot as f*** that day, but it didnt stop us going wild when Skid Row blasted the stage..great times man..

There are so many bands, songs and albums from artists that I have listened to for years and years that I have become accustomed to hearing the same thing rehashed over and over again. Everything has been done to death.. but every now and again something comes along that is orchestrated just perfectly. It's how songs are created/constructed that prove that, although nothing is new, it's the artists that somehow make a rare perfect album that sounds new. This is probably the best song I have heard in years.
