  • Continuing on with the extremely well made hit Netflix live action adaption of One Piece! Things got surprisingly emotional for me, learning the back story of 2 new characters was quite the ordeal.

The best thing about Sanji and Zeff goodbye is that's the first time both of them called their real name instead of nicknames like lil eggplant etc

7:05 Perfectly edited when you said it's not fair how everyone's eating while you're hungry and Garp replies, "The world is not fair". Great reaction! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing you finish the season.

Was seriously wondering if anyone was gonna catch that.
It was a happy accident in editing too. Didn't even catch it until I did the final run through before posting.

Definitely noticed but wasn't sure if it was on purpose or not.

2:27 Yes, they did build all those ships. I'm so impressed with all the sets they put together for this show.

Just found this channel. Laughed so hard about you complaining about how it’s “not fair” about food being shown this episode when you are hungry and then the next clip is garp talking about how the world isn’t fair 🤣🤣🤣. I thought I were gonna say something about it in the reaction video lol

Luffy always lived in (or just outside of) Foosha village. He was basically raised by the village as Garp regularly was sailing around for work. Garp would come check up on Luffy and “train” him whenever he had vacation time. So, from the outside looking in, at the Shanks point in the story, Luffy would appear to be an orphan.
Because Garp was just never around in the village at the same time as Shanks, Shanks didn’t know. It’s kind of a plot hole because Garp is a world-famous Marine from the village and Luffy shares his family names. Everybody that Shanks befriended in the village knows Garp personally.

i dont think its a plot hole why reveal to a pirate that the boys guardian was a marine? especially when he was so cruel to luffy and shanks showed him such kindness its obvious why he took after shanks and not garp, as for garp not being there i think that just speaks to how little he was there luffy might not of been an orphan but he might as well of been one

the ships are real, in case no one has told you. They really built them and destroyed one for the Mihawk scene.
