When the pirate was saying they lost 50 ships and 5000 men trying to get to the Grand Line, it was Mihawk who destroyed them all, as you saw him doing so in his introduction!
He single handily destroyed their armada…Mihawk is OP! That intro of his was absolutely nuts! And all because they woke him from his nap. Tsk. tsk. Thanks for watching and joining the conversation! We love hearing from you guys! Oh and our episode 6 reaction will be live on Saturday! So please look forward to that! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@DUAnime.Official So a few additional things here. Mihawk is S-tier strong and just became interested in Zorro showing not a single moment of quitting. He proved he wasn't a Rabbit, but a young Wolf. Small, but hungry. The other 7 Warlords all vary in strength but Mihawk is probably the strongest. Mihawk doesn't have. a DF, but he does have power beyond strength like he mentioned. Devil Fruits are not the only power set, there are advantages, conditioning and natural biological abilities. Fishman are 10x stronger and more durable than average humans, but there are few Fishman who keep up with the greatest humans. Also Warlords can be recommended for the position to the Marines depending on factors like Bounty or reputation on the Seas.
Mihawk is one of the best introduced characters in fiction. He's far too strong for the East Blue and serves as the audiences and Zoro's biggest vibe check. By the time Luffy first meets Zoro both have outgrown the East, they are big fish in a very small pond (or more like a big frog in a well, unknowing just how vast the world is), so having Someone near the top of the most powerful people in the world sail in and say "hey I'm bored, let me just rock your world view real quick" God I cant get enough of Mihawk.
His intro was absolutely awesome!! Up until this point it seems like Luffy and Zoro are on top of the world. Then this monster strolls in and tears the roof off of that perception by cutting cannonballs and whole ships in half!!! We hope you enjoyed the video and we appreciate all the support!!

I'm uncertain, but I believe there may be a misunderstanding regarding the "Garp is Luffy's grandpa" revelation. This revelation was a significant plot point but was the *only one* introduced within over 300 anime episodes. In fact, the live-action adaptation only managed to cover about 45 anime episodes' worth of content in its eight episodes.

This episode was so good and they just get better! I love your reactions! As for Kuina's death, yeah, sadly she fell down the stairs. I love how jarring this fight between Zoro and Mihawk is. Taking a man the audience is enamored with- the strawhats symbol of strength and discipline. And then absolutely having his seemingly invincible self hit a brick wall and bounce off. It wasn't even close. He had SO far to go. But he tried it anyway. And Luffy believed in him until he hit the floor.

i don't know if anyone mentioned this (surely someone did), but the starving pirate that Sanji feeds is named Gin. Gin is a high ranking pirate in Don Krieg's fleet - Mihawk wiped out those 50 ships and 5,000 men.

the magic of one piece is that it makes you care this much with this little, but then has things that build for hundreds of episodes/issues and it scales
"He lost 50 ships and 5,000 men! What happened to him?" In the .anga/anime, Mihawk is what happened to them. In fact, that was Don Krieg's fleet (the guy Mikawk was dismantling effortlessly in his intro) that that guy's was a part of. However, in the LA they kept it a little vague because of changes they made to the script. Still, this episode was really great. I wish they had a bit more time to really flesh out Sanji's character and showcase more of what he's about, but overall I think they did a great job with the time they had available.
Mihawk the one man army! Learning about these little details adds even more weight to the events and characters in the world! Sanji is definitely a favorite of ours! We can’t wait to see more! Thanks for watching and we hope to see you soon when our ep 8 reaction drops!
Because you guys are going to watch it as a group, I highly recommend watching the OnePace version of the anime. Which is basically a fan edit that has the show flow better and cuts out the time filling stuff present in every single episode (recaps and commercial break title cards). They have an English Dub version you can get there too.
@@DUAnime.Official Dub or sub is depends on your preference, but most will say that sub version is more popular because the voice actor is really on point, the emotion from their voices is real it added more depth to the story telling, and there also lots of things that are hard to translate to english so the slight difference will be one of the downside too. You can also try by switching from sub to dub at first, and see which one you enjoyed the most 🙂
Super good points! We also want to take into account what you guys wanna see/hear? Lol Is it easier for y’all to follow along listening to English or Japanese? Although most would probably already know what was happening without understanding the language of the dialogue. Or perhaps y’all don’t mind either or. Just things we’re thinking about. Thanks for the suggestions though! They’re very helpful!
@@DUAnime.Official Yup, you got that right. There wouldn't be any problem at all, fans will already know what's going on by heart even if you choose to watch it with sub. And to be honest, I've seen fans are the ones who always encourage reactors to watch one piece anime in Japanese most of the time. And I don't blame them, since the impact of Japanese VA it really is that big. 😆
@@DUAnime.Official I would say it really depends. The emotion and tone comes off way better in the sub version and that is why it's most fan's preferred version. Also the OnePace edit also included editing the subtitles to make them bigger and easier to read as well as they'll stay on screen slightly longer. However, If even one person in the group has a reading disorder/difficulty or another reason they would strongly prefer the dub, then watch the dub version.

The last four episodes are all dope, like the whole show. You definetly have to start to react to the anime together like this, like you did with the live action 😊
@@DUAnime.Official My biggest complaint about the anime is the pace, because there's so much filler, repetition and rambling, it gets painful after a while. It seems to take forever for the story to progress. And I'm not the only one who thinks so, because there's a really well produced fan edit you can find called "One Pace" that cuts out all the dead wood. Worth checking out IMO.
We’re more than ready! We’ll finish off these last couple episodes and then…well…start at episode one…😅 Probably do a handful at a time and see what happens and where this goes! Thanks for all the support and we hope you enjoyed the video!
Roger got his tittle "King of the Pirates" because he is the one who sail to the last hidden island in grandline. After his execution, the tittle will goes to anyone who can find his treasures. But the one who have the "power" to grant those tittle is "the media / newspaper". Roger never claim to be king of pirates, and the world goverment actualy tried to hide his achivement. But "the newspaper" spread the news and "give" him that title.
Considering Mihawk can slice an entire ship in half, it's clear he precisely judged the cut to wound zoro just enough to be serious but not enough to immediately kill him as a lesson in hubris and to teach him what he will be up against in the future. Very cool!
in the manga its lightly implied that the reason kuina died from falling down the stairs is because zoro and her had that fight at midnight, she dies the next day because she's exhausted and doing morning chores
@@DUAnime.Official out of all of odas work on one piece I would say that zoro's flashback isn't the best Gets it's point across sure but is left a bit light on actual details outside of zoro himself
The power level in one piece is unimaginable , there are 7 warlord and moreover there are 4 Emperor (Yonko) of the sea who rule the sea and is more stronger then the warlord. But Mihawk is one of the powerful and mysterious character till date.
@@user-mf1fl3oy6s i mean they did meet each other at marineford, and he wasn't able to cut down buggy. Buggy would piece himself back up again even if Mihawk tried to cut him.
We can’t wait to see more of Garp in the anime! We hope you’ll continue to join us as we bring the anime here to the channel in the coming weeks! Thanks a bunch for the support!
One of the reason mihawk spared luffy was because of his hat. He recognised the hat, that was why when he met luffy, he said "i like your hat". He realised that hat was the hat shanks gave to luffy. Which shanks told mihawk about it once
Oh!! Makes a lot of sense! We knew shanks had to have made himself pretty famous or perhaps infamous. And to have the respect or acknowledgement of Mihawk must be significant! Thanks for filling us in and we hope you enjoyed the video!
Yo…we honestly can’t wait!! We’re ready to dive into the anime now that we’ve completed the live action just as of tonight!! Be on the look out for the double feature! Thanks for hanging with us and we hope to see you back soon!
Roger is the previous pirates king, ohh and grand line, the mihawk introduction it just a tip of the mountain, were not even close to the real thing and btw east blue is the weakest sea, among all for seas, so the villain in this sea is nothing compared to the villain in the grand line, like all the villain this far in the east blue is just like a an ant and the villain in the grand line is like an elephant
And about the world government thing, is gonna be important later in the story, like a big big important and mind blowing thing u know, and lot of important things gonna happened in every last eps in every arc in the anime. and in LA probably per season i guess, so yeah once again all of this season is just a tip of iceberg that we don't know how deep it is
Honestly, that is so insane and awesome! We can’t wait to experience more of the world! We’ll knock out these last couple live action episodes and then it’s our intention to start the anime at, well, episode one…😅 lolol Thanks for watching and all the support! As well as the extra insights to what we have to look forward too! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I recommend starting at episode 36 in anime, as that’s near where this season ends. It’s also where I thought the show got good, it was hard too watch until that point
Oh really!? Ok hmmm that might be something to think about for us! We’ve only got a few eps left for the live action and then we’ll start the anime! We hope you enjoyed the video!
You seen stronger people than Mihawk. Both of them standed on a platform in episode one. However also manga readers don't know full power of Mihawk and they place him a tier or two too low, because he was depicted not so perfectly during war and his bounty reveal. Oda hinted to some things but may not follow on them cause they told him to cut the time to the end of manga and stop introducing new story elements. Bah! I correct myself you maybe seen even two more stronger (at least on confirmed) in first episode too but in a flashback. And i have suspition there is even 5th person but he is complete enigma. He is named in this show pretty openly but in anime and manga his name was never confirmed, Oda named him "off screen". But his figure-deeper story maybe cut totally since he sort of is not seen anymore. So either there is some story too it like going undercover or spliting due to conflict or he just left do stuff elswhere.
It sort of seems like Luffy’s power is at the mercy of his imagination. Maybe he never thought of blowing himself up like a balloon before? In any case, thanks for watching!!
It could be more that it was the first time it had worked the way he wanted it to considering his powers for a long time were very hard to get a handle on.
Yo! LOL He absolutely killed it! One of the best parts of this episode and perhaps the whole show! Hopefully we’ll see more of him in these last couple episodes! Thanks for watching and joining the conversation! Much appreciated!
I wish they had zoro bleed And have the windows blast out Live action feels weird because he took 3 normal looking hits And not a drop of blood Anime does it better
The original interpretation of Zoro's friend falling from the stairs is just their way of saying she killed herself, but more ambigious. They say it to lessen the impact for younger people to hear bad news, pretty much saying it was an "accident", when really she died of something a lot more cruel. :P
This is incorrect. Thats made up by the Redditor who created the original theory. Kuina legitimately died due to falling down the stairs. Its supposed to highlight how fleeting life is and that even if you have great goals, you can die at any time.
When the pirate was saying they lost 50 ships and 5000 men trying to get to the Grand Line, it was Mihawk who destroyed them all, as you saw him doing so in his introduction!

"He lost 50 ships and 5,000 men! What happened to him?"
In the .anga/anime, Mihawk is what happened to them.
Honestly that so far sounds like the most reasonable for us! I guess the decision would be whether to watch dub or sub! 🤔
From the flipped subtitle, now I understand how Chinese look at alphabet.
LOLOLOLOL
I recently found your channel this week and binged all of your One Piece Live Action content. DUAime such a great and fun crew review great and anime. I love this channel and love your guys thoughts and comments during the show. I just hit the Subscribe button and the thumbs up. Keep making great content and try to avoid spoiler so you can really enjoy the beauty of One Piece. Great job boys I will continue to support your content and am glad am apart of the subscribers that will help you get to 1K soon.
Oh wow!! That means the world to us here!
We started this channel just under 3 months ago and we’ve been surprised time and time again by your guys support! We’re are very grateful! And we definitely do our best to avoid spoilers! We’re literally going in with fresh eyes! Thanks for joining us and we hope to continue to bring more One Piece, even after the live action ends! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
thank you so much for the kind words and the support! Really means a lot to a channel just starting out.
Thank you for that comment, that really means a lot!
And it only gets better from here on out.
Oh we’re full speed ahead!! We can’t wait for more! Thanks for watching we greatly appreciate it!!
Mihawk and Zoro's fight in the anime in front of the Baratie was more intense, though the scene in the OPLA was more realistic😄👌
The cool thing is that each one fits in it’s medium! Although we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in both the live action and the anime! Only two more episodes for us to watch?! Feels like we’re barely getting started! Thanks for watching and we hope you had a good time hanging with us!
The last four episodes are all dope, like the whole show. You definetly have to start to react to the anime together like this, like you did with the live action 😊
The fact that there’s only two left is heartbreaking! It went by so quickly! We’ll finish these up and then it’s on to the anime! Episode 1! 😅
@@DUAnime.Official If you do dub, just be warned that a war will happen in the comments. Me personally i've watched 980 eps in dub lmao.
We think that’s gonna be the most accessible for us. Seems the most reasonable as well. Just gotta decide sub or dub…Lolol
Yo for real huh! What should we choose?! Dub or sub?!
Hopefully you’ll be ready to react to the anime soon
We’re more than ready! We’ll finish off these last couple episodes and then…well…start at episode one…😅
Probably do a handful at a time and see what happens and where this goes!

Very cool!
EXACTLY! oh man…we can’t wait to see Mihawk in the anime! Thanks for watching!
in the manga its lightly implied that the reason kuina died from falling down the stairs is because zoro and her had that fight at midnight, she dies the next day because she's exhausted and doing morning chores
Oh no way?! Seems like there’s a lot of open ended questions surrounding her death! Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoyed the video!
@@DUAnime.Official out of all of odas work on one piece I would say that zoro's flashback isn't the best
Gets it's point across sure but is left a bit light on actual details outside of zoro himself
Ahhh very interesting. It’ll be cool for us to see how the anime portrays it compared to the LA.
Glad Reaction One Piece one character like later birthday today the 6th October which the same birthday as me.
Happy birthday from the four of us!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@DUAnime.Official Thank you
The power level in one piece is unimaginable , there are 7 warlord and moreover there are 4 Emperor (Yonko) of the sea who rule the sea and is more stronger then the warlord. But Mihawk is one of the powerful and mysterious character till date.
I know you're enthusiastic but dont give spoilers to them
Unfortunately, Mihawk can’t defeat Buggy, it’s like his natural foe at this point.
@@jollygirl94 didn't you mean "cant kill him by cutting him"? Cuz he sure can kill buggy in many other ways
@@user-mf1fl3oy6s i mean they did meet each other at marineford, and he wasn't able to cut down buggy. Buggy would piece himself back up again even if Mihawk tried to cut him.
lol "Ussop fire back at them!" Manga Luffys is Deathly afraid of Garp! he be Running away full Steam!!!!!!!! still so fun this show
We can’t wait to see more of Garp in the anime! We hope you’ll continue to join us as we bring the anime here to the channel in the coming weeks! Thanks a bunch for the support!
Season one is only comprised of 45 and so episode from the anime
Which just barely scratches the surface!
EARLY VIDEO!!! LET'S GOOOOOO!!!
We hope you enjoy! We’ll have episode 6 out this Saturday as well!! Thanks for watching and all the support!!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
One of the reason mihawk spared luffy was because of his hat.
He recognised the hat, that was why when he met luffy, he said "i like your hat".
He realised that hat was the hat shanks gave to luffy. Which shanks told mihawk about it once
Oh!! Makes a lot of sense! We knew shanks had to have made himself pretty famous or perhaps infamous. And to have the respect or acknowledgement of Mihawk must be significant! Thanks for filling us in and we hope you enjoyed the video!
Dude, come on. That is pretty much a spoiler. They aren't supposed to know that until the end of East Blue.
Hey it’s awesome Jon moxley is reacting with you guys.
Yoooo LOLOLOLOL
The think is mihawk destroyed the 50 ship and kill the 5000 people and they didn't say it in show
That is insane…Mihawk is a monster!!
If y'all think that Mihawk debut was dope. Prepare Yourself for 'Daddy' Whitebeard appearence in the future
One piece is real
We’ve been missing out! But we’re here for it now! Better late than never we figure! Thanks for watching!
Nah just rewatch from episode 1, things will make more sense that way
You seen stronger people than Mihawk.
No one realized but luffy could have totally just put his bill on garp's tab and there would never had been a chore boy incident
LOL imagine!!!
@@DUAnime.Official But then Zeff would have to tell Garp Luffy was there to get his bill paid so🤣
12:10 Falchion.
Well that’s a sick name!!! Thanks for watching!
Feels like y’all watched ahead before this reaction
Literally haven’t seen a single second after ep 6. The reaction to ep 6 comes out on Saturday, since we watched both back to back.
Mihawk spare Zoro because of Luffy's Hat. 🤣
We can’t wait to get the full backstory on the straw hat hahah
Luffy saying he didn't know he could expand is inconsistent with the fact that he'd be training his powers for 10 years.
Maybe more that it would send the cannonball back
It sort of seems like Luffy’s power is at the mercy of his imagination. Maybe he never thought of blowing himself up like a balloon before? In any case, thanks for watching!!
It could be more that it was the first time it had worked the way he wanted it to considering his powers for a long time were very hard to get a handle on.
@@DUAnime.Officialcorrect Luffy works best under pressure too, really gets his gears going.
i dont think any of us were ready for the pure sexual force.... i mean badarsery that mihawk actor brought
Yo! LOL He absolutely killed it! One of the best parts of this episode and perhaps the whole show! Hopefully we’ll see more of him in these last couple episodes! Thanks for watching and joining the conversation! Much appreciated!
👏🏻
Thanks for all the support! 😜
I wish they had zoro bleed
And have the windows blast out
Live action feels weird because he took 3 normal looking hits
And not a drop of blood
Anime does it better
Ahh ya. That would have been cool to see some more blood. Although that laceration looked disgusting!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
The original interpretation of Zoro's friend falling from the stairs is just their way of saying she killed herself, but more ambigious.
They say it to lessen the impact for younger people to hear bad news, pretty much saying it was an "accident", when really she died of something a lot more cruel.
:P
Oh is that right?? Wow…although we suppose that could make sense. Even more sad now honestly…
But Kuina will have a reincarnated character on Season 2 (Lounge Town Arc) that will blow away Zoro's mind once they meet😄👌
This is incorrect. Thats made up by the Redditor who created the original theory. Kuina legitimately died due to falling down the stairs. Its supposed to highlight how fleeting life is and that even if you have great goals, you can die at any time.
E5
12:00 Mihawk intro
23:30 Mihawk Vs Zoro
That’s what’s up! Definitely the highlights!
Cant handle the screen writing
It certainly ain’t the anime!!
The think is mihawk destroyed the 50 ship and kill the 5000 people and they didn't say it in show
