Maybe try what Jason from Cog Hill Farm does. He sprays a rag and rubs it on his cows. They don't like being sprayed, either.
Our mules prefer the rag as well, easier to get their ears and their throat.
Congratulations to both older kids for finishing out their ball seasons. Steph, I can tell that Brandon was really happy that you are back. I live the name you gave the baby 🫏.

The kid's did very well this season they should be proud.
You can’t hold the bottle up to high that is why she pushers so much what happen the nipple gets bent and she pushes to get more milk or rather get her milk.

She pushes because that’s the normal behaviour/action calves, foals etc do when feeding from their mom, it makes their milk drop.
@@sharonm3677 I agree with you they all does it but the little calf is doing it much to often and it’s because the bottle is being held to high. I am saying this because it happen to me as a teenager and my dad who was a farmer told us kids not to hold the bottle to high.

Radar was my choice as well.
They do have a product out there for flies . It’s an ear tag . You put it on in the spring and it last all season . From what I have seen it works good. And you don’t have to spray them.

I don’t know if anyone else suggested Radar for the name for the new donkey or if I was the only one, but I’m going to believe that it was my suggestion that you took. The day he was born I took one look at those ears and said to myself “they should name him Radar with ears like those”. His ears may not look so large as he grows but the name will stick with him. I’ve been watching since before you moved out to the farm, keep up the good work. Bless you and your family. Thanks for all the great videos.

All your animals are looking good! That baby Jack is so cute! Love the name Brandon gave him. I have noticed on other homestead videos where they use the spray on a rag to wipe on the animals. I know there might be some that don't like being handled but for the ones that will let you I thought it was a good idea. Lots of love from Wisconsin ❤

Have you tried promo gelly or Vicks or bag balm on the pups noses so that way they won't get dry out ad help stop the fly's attack 21:09

Hubby and I have been married for 45 yrs and we spend 24/7 with each other. Love grows over time, for sure, and when I am gone away from the ole man we miss each other terribly. In January we both ended up in the hospital, not together. When we were back together we spent hours just sitting and chatting about anything and everything. thnx for sharing your story with us.

Brandon >>>>>>> please read - For a longer protection for dogs ears from flies if you put a tablespoon of vasoline in the palm of your hand and mix some fly spray into it , and smear it all over the tips of their ears it will work for a week or more and is super effective , I used to do this on my hobby farm for my guard dogs. Hope this helps .
