When I am into adrenaline my whole stats grow up as well as not losing my control, giving strength to my inner strength. It is like my whole body can do anything and react to everything insanely fast around me neither living nor non living. Everything becomes a threat to me when I am ready to confront something. I have never lost my control because of adrenaline in my life. It is like a battle mode more than a survival instinct.

@@DonSamRazYoit is possible to control. But, it is not easy to master at all. Its like you can fight your trainer full blast in the cage and feel no adrenaline issue cos you don’t feel threatened for example. But a person in the real world meaning you harm can cause an adrenaline dump. You need to be able to practice with exposure at keeping that unthreatened state during altercations. Its not easy, but with enough practice and exposure possible. Most ppl won’t get the chance to master that obviously

@@luieescobar4664 Unfortunately this is a bad situation for you. Adrenaline dump causes that shaky feeling and makes it hard to think clear under stress. My son is 12 and trains mma at our local gym, it helps a lot. Because in a fight you DONT rise to the occasion, you fall to your basic level of training. Some times I help him train by bullying him a little, it takes gradual exposure like any fear does. Gradual consistent exposure is the key bro - with confidence and familiarity you gain control/focus. Hope this helps!
@@luieescobar4664 I replied, but my comment didnt post. I'll try explain again without it being too long. What you felt is normal reaction, it's the side effects of big adrenaline release. Unfotunately, this situation is not good for you in a fight scenario - not only are you shaky and weak, but you can't think straight under pressure. This entire adrenaline dump is triggered by fear mostly (fight, flight, freeze). My 12yo son does MMA training at our local fight gym, and it has helped him tremendously. The only way to overcome this hand shake you speak of is EXPOSURE. Over, and over. I would recommend doing a ring sport. A real one, like boxing or muay thai. Once you get familiar feeling of being hit and countering back a lot of your problem will just fade away. With my son he gets me to "bully" him a bit during warm up, where I try to stand over him while sparring and put him into that head space somewhat, so he can just practise keeping focused during it. Its something you have to approach gradually and properly. It's like when you hold pads for someone else to punch and kick eventually you stop flinching from their strikes. Its all about consistent exposure, hope this helps! P.s A lot of ppl mistakenly think they will "rise" to the occasion in a fight, but reality is you fall to your basic level of training
This so true, coming from a wrestler and skateboarder, experiencing someone with full intentions of hurting you , you will need to control your adrenaline, your adrenaline doesn’t just come out from anger it Also comeout from fear so i will think you need hella practice to master something like this , I still haven’t
Whenever I’m in a real fight adrenaline helps deliver power punches loads but in wrestling or boxing I end up just having adrenaline dumps the whole time

Well my adrenaline works sometimes like last time I was in 4th grade I got into a fight with this guy and then I was just start punching and everything cuz you know me I have adrenaline in every punch you do to counter attack me it didn't hurt at all

Im torn I was not able to hurt him because he deserve to be beat up since he beats up women. but he is huge and the consequences of being knocked out were so dire. I couldnt afford to be knocked out with no one out to keep me from getting my head curb stomped. i grapple and I box and im not good enough at either to do them properly when Im afraid and super pissed and my adrenaline is going.
Every time I get into a fight I think about my carrier my reputation I feel I might kill somebody and end up in jail or getting a police record so I don't fight and it make me feel like I'm a coward

Hello,I'm 17 and I'm training MMA for almost 2 years(last 1 mont on a proffesional leve,2 trainings per day) and I am not a small guy but aint big guy(5'7)..I had one situation 3 days ago...Me and my friend had some problems with some guy so we decided to met that guy and solve the problem we met him and he took us to his 2 friend one of them was unknown to us,but the other guy we knew....The guy that we were not knowing(he was like 6'1,but skinny not much but he eas skinny) started to be a lil bit cocky so that scared me a lil bit but in my head I was like fuck that I will fight if I need to,the thing that also scared me was that he was talking so calmn but in the same time he was cocky I tought he is experienced in this,so the whole time he was talking to my friend acting tough,he said that he could slap all of us(my friend,me and all our friends)that made me angry...Then he continued to talk and I stopped him to ask something(I wasn't cocky)and he telled me:"What do you want dwarf?"(he was frustrated) And I reply to him:"Who do you call dwarf?"(I tought that I sounded insecure,but my friend tell me that I sounded pretty confident,after we were talking) and I was standing with clenched fists staring at him right in the eyes...So that guy started to get up(my adrenaline rush was hugeee at that moment)and then suddenly he sat back(his face was like:You are playng with your life) I was like in myself damn I almost started a fight(at that moment I was thinking he could maybe beat me)...Everything ended without fighting...After that I was like what the fuck I was thinking,I mean I train with one of the best fighter in the Europe I train 2 time per day(sometimes more) I could kick his ass easy...So I think the main cause of so much adrenaline rush was my inexperience on the steets(I fight like 5 times in last 7 yrs)What do you think I should do to solve this problem?
Great question Sidoslav. First off, it's great that this ended with no fights. Always keep in mind that it's best to avoid fighting if you can. Always use verbal defense to defuse a fight. Weapons can come out, knives, guns, etc. Multiple attackers can add in and jump in. Also there can be revenge cases. Lastly there can be legal consequences. So, when you can avoid a fight, it's always best to do it. If you have no choice and need to protect yourself, it's great to learn self defense for that. Your MMA training is an awesome thing. Same problem I may be stronger than guy And maybe I can beat him but still when fight is about to start I get adrenaline rush and my leg start shaking and it make me feel weak .. It's dosent make me feel strong instead it make me feel weak and stutter my mouth.... What can I do ?
@@chillstreak8301 It's normal,I talked with few MMA fighters and they said that it's totally normal,some MMA fighter use their arms when they are entering the octagon,because you have few stairs and their legs are shaking a lot because of very high adrenaline level,so they are affraid to fell and then they use their hands for better balance,so you can imagine how much adrenaline is higher when you are going into MMA fight than a street fight,some of them told me that it is 3 times worser to do a MMA fight than a street fight...Don't worry,don't think about anything just go there and punch,when it lands and when fight starts you will see that it's much scarier when fight is going to happend than when its happening...
Huge difference between sports with rules and a real fight. Adrenaline is the turbo and let's us survive. So u can be tough but never underestimate a person full of adrenaline man!
I got attacked in a parking lot downtown at night. The adrenaline was crazy. He threw me to the ground, but I didn't even feel it. I got up and booked it faster than any 100m sprint I've ever done for track and field. When I was finally fairly safe at a casino with security, I saw a guy who looked exactly like my attacker run across the road toward me. I'm still not completely sure if that was the attacker, but I have trouble believing that he was just trying to cross the road quickly. As my friend stood on the stairs frozen in shock, I ran into the casino where the security agents gave us some water and made sure we were safe until my friend's mom was finally done gambling or whatever. Even now about an hour later, I'm still completely awake despite it being 2am. I'm just glad that he didn't attack my friend who is a lot smaller than me. I think I made the right call by sprinting out of there, because even if I was cornered, I would stand no chance against him. At least I live in Canada, so there's a lot smaller chance of people carrying knifes and guns, because otherwise I would be dead right now.

nick please please please please please please make a full video on how to fight with larger attackers in close quarter range especially when they throw those wild punches along with good reach.And when a shorter guy tries to punch him only some shots gets connected...so please make a video on that.
Besides the Adrenalin rush, the biggest problem is the "I'm going to get the shit kicked out of me..." thought. It's lack of confidence, good because it means I'm not complacent but bad because the voices of fear take over. Cancelling out that internal noise is the biggest problem...there must be some kind of meditation technique to practice mastering this?
You need to train to have an aggressive mind set instead of worrying what will happen to yourself think about want your going to do to them "become the attaker".
Hello! I'm a 5"2 woman who was recently physically attacked by my 6"2 ex boyfriend. He caught me off guard and started to punch me while I was in my car pulling out of my parking stall in reverse. I had never been in a physical fight before. My immediate response was to protect my face. He punched me hard on both sides of my head 4 to 6 times. My reading glasses that I was wearing broke in half. I am trying to understand adrenaline because even though he hit me extremely hard, in those few seconds I did not feel the physical pain. Why is that? Later on, my head was hurting and I felt a lot of pressure. I'd like to get training in self defense now and look forward in learning 🙏🏼
Sorry to hear about that brutal attack. It's good that your adrenaline kicked in, that is why you did not feel the strike. However, if he had continued to punch you, it could have been worse. I found that when I was younger and I knew I had to fight somebody after school,I would visualise winning the fight before hand and it helped a lot.it worked for me you have to go in with confidence. Still got my ass kicked sometimes but it helped

Heres the situation, 3 guys threathening me and one trying to slap me, he goes for my face and i flinge and then they almost beat the shit out of me because they thought i was attacking them
When I first fought the adrenaline was what it got me bcause what was a big rage discussion with a kid turned into both of us fighting and when the adrenaline came it just made my whole body aware of what was happening and I couldn't remember any of the things I trained because my brain was just focused on that and that only so that is why it was so hard to fight and after that fight I always try to control my adrenaline a bit so I can use a bit of my memory as my advantage.
Seriously, luckily I didnt have to fight anyone to this point, but everytime I get in to a intense situation on the street or even witness one, I get literally overwhelmed by Adrenaline and start to freeze. Normally I am a pretty tall and strong guy, but in these situations I have no strength, I can barely talk and think...this is the worst feeling.
It's fear that is kicking in. The more you practice self defense, the more confident you'll become and the fear will reduce over time. Nick, Mike Tyson said, "everybody's got a plan until they get cracked in the mouth." I would like you to take this discussion in a different direction if you don't mind,. You mentioned getting stabbed and how your buddy was able to keep going. He also knew he would die if he didn't. Different pain causes different subtle psychological responses. For instance, what are some pointers regarding how to keep going when you take a hard shot to the nose and you hear a crack and the blood starts pouring down?? What about if you lose a tooth? That isn't just about the pain. It is about "oh know my face is never gonna look the same again" and even though you don't have time to think about that consciously it registers unconsciously to most people except pro MMA guys, some boxers perhaps, and some real animals who have been hit in the street so many times that they don't care anymore. What do you do when you hear that crack as your nose gets smashed in or your jaw gets busted? I have had some fights. I have done a lot of training and been hit pretty hard but what in your expert opinion does one need to do to bypass that particular "psychological freeze response?"
Always revert to the most animalistic side of your brain In that scenario. It's the civil side that cares about how your face looks, just consider the fact that you are gonna survive, you are gonna keep that person from killing you, but you have to ignore the punches, you wont feel the pain anyway, you only feel the stun of your brain momentarily.
Avoid avoid and avoid until you can't. You get tooth knocked out,been there, or got yourself a broken nose, fight already started so no time for thinking and overthinking-that gets you killed. Mindset is all you got against this. Almost everything can be fixed, teeth, nose, bones... but with you thinking about that in real fight might get you killed and you can't fix that. So keep fighting if you're already in that situation.
This is good advise; you made good points/gave sound tips. 👍 I battle the fear of just being frozen but learning to recognize that adrenaline is my power surge to war! It’s about learning to reprogram my brain and recognize and utilize those queasy feelings as my fuel! Again good advice up and down and like that scenario simulation-to train even in that.
My adrenaline dump is huge. I've got a great adrenal gland and I am used to adrenaline. I think that is key. Practice and getting used to the pluses of adrenaline. I have found that go into the world of adrenaline where I am objective and everything slows way down. Love that place. Expect that place when I need to be objective and time slows. Practice using adrenaline, getting used to adrenaline. I get thrown from my horse adrenaline is already there as I am slowly heading towards the ground. I get to pick out where I want to land and ROLL. I remember my horse rearing up, me sliding off his butt and laying there watching this horse in the air coming down to land. Oh so luckily the ground was soggy soil and thick grass. I had time to position my legs and shoulders for the least contact. 900 pounds! No problemo. I love adrenaline until AFTER the need for it dissipates. Ugh and Ugh.
***My Adrenaline Story***: there was no escape ! I was once attacked by about 15 dudes , and As I seen the group advancing towards me. My legs were getting heavy, the first striked my face with what seemed a clear knockout... my eyes were locked onto his knuckles and I seen them being thrown at me in slowMo , still expecting this to be a knockout but I was surprisingly still standing ! Another 3 gripped and floored me , I was then repeatedly hit for about 30 seconds& by around 10 of them , It was my first time actually getting hit in the face , i have never been knocked out before ... And I can tell you I did not feel a single scratch ! at this point they stopped and went away , I got up quietly looked at few of them in the eyes and left like nothing happened , they must have been quite surprised too , it’s when I got home and realized what just happened and did my research that I found out what an ADRENALINE RUSH was , I was so glad and fascinated that such a thing existed !

I don't usually share my thoughts, but seeing people share theirs made me want to. I'm a cashier and when I see someone shoplift or when I see an angry customer or someone speaks loudly to me, my adrenaline goes to the roof, I can control myself infront of the other person, at least that's what I think, but I really hate this feeling. I'm thinking to take martel art classes, so I can use it to my advantage.

Adrenaline can indeed go through the roof when a dangerous situation occurs. It's highly recommend to take a self-defense class. However, try to go for a reality based self-defense system instead of martial arts. It's more effective for your needs.

I am 2 Dan in Karate, I think i can defend myself, but ALWAYS... in a street fight.. my fucking adrenaline makes my body shaking... in the begining i always thought it was fear but it is not.. its the fucking adrenaline, shaking, etc, i loose control of my body :(

I made mistake when I was younger not fighting back who supposed to have been my best friend, but I don’t think it was fear.. it was shock like you suppose to care about me and you’re tryin to brutally fight me! That was 17 years ago tho and lesson learned fight back even if it’s someone close. I think this girl was very jealous of me bc there was no legit reason I’m my book. I had her in the headlock bc we were fighting in the car and she bit the shit out of me ans I couldn’t feel a things for a whole after. This girl is much stronger now can bench 100lbs once. She still thinks she is so bad ass that I just want to workout my hardest and take few most necessary tips for fighting and if ever she disrespects me or gives me that vibe I’d love to show her that I’m not as weak as she thinks. I kinda hate to lose (whatever that is defined in fighting) but I’m very competitive. Am I wrong to feel this way? I’m 34 and she ha recently came back in my life
Hey Brittany, It's good to hear that you are training and preparing for self-defense. That is already a huge steps towards safety in case someone decides to attack you. There are no age to be attacked, and also your attackers can be of any age and size as well. So, if you feel a person close to you is about to get rowdy, it's always best to de-escalate the situation. If you feel threatened to a point that the situation cannot be defused, you need to do what it takes to stay safe depending on the level of danger. So bottom line, live your life without worrying to much about this, but be prepared to fight back when a situation becomes dangerous. Hope this helps.
I wanna learn to control it, like...sometimes if I get in a fight, I feel that adrenaline coming up, but it’s like...I just stay there, and I can’t do anything, and even if I tried, it’s as if I wasn’t in control of my body anymore, and if I try to hit someone or something, I can’t...how do you think I could fix that? Or what can I do to be able to control my self when the adrenaline kicks in?
The thing about the law, is if there is enough people to testify against a physical encounter, it doesn’t matter what happened. I got jumped by a security guard and her three male friends. They stole my phone and knocked me unconscious. I woke up, being shoved under a car (so it would run me over the next day). I called the police once I became conscious, they knew the people already from previous calls. The police went to them and they all said nothing happened, so they let them go. It was one versus four, so it didn’t matter. My case was instantly dismissed. If you’re out numbered by the people who attack you and they defend each other, they will get off hands free.
In the beginning how you were talking about how in a street fight he has a knife or gun my brother (11)held a knife up to my (13) trough a had a small rush of adrenalen a had grabbed the knife with my left hand and with my right punched him in the face you see I don't like to hit people in the face and I don't know if that was a good or bad thing

Some guy in my school stole my money and my legs started shaking after i confronted him he started walking to me with all his friends and I couldn’t stop the shaking making them think i was scared..
0:37 lmao that’s why I said it doesn’t mean every boxer will be beat a street fighter. Hence in the ring your only fear is getting knocked out.. whilst in the streets your fear is dying without no referee to actually give u a break 🤷♂️😯

Good question Youness. The adrenaline will certainly help you as your pain will be reduced and other things such as a gain in strength for some people. But, keep in mind that not everyone reacts the same to adrenaline. Take care

Hey, I had this incident a month ago where 5 guys approached me and a little girl I was with. We were walking back to the house. When suddenly this group of five guys started asking us questions saying “oh you got money that’s a nice chain and phone”. I could of already tell what were their intentions, so as soon as I tried to walk away with the little girl they grabbed her and left me with no choice but to fight. So the first two dudes the came to hit me I managed to take them out but than the other two tackled me and threw me to the ground and started kicking me. After acouple kicks they started running away and i took the little girl and did the same. They didn’t managed to do much damage to me or the girl since i protected myself pretty good. But I still would love to know what could I have done better in a scenario like this. All I have is military training sinces I’m on the army but they don’t teach us against this kind of stuff. If you could please make a video that would be great. Also this happened on the dark and it was alot harder to see since they were all in black and it was dark.

Turnty it’s adrenaline. I have the same problem. I just hop around and shake my arms at my sides and stuff. Breath. There’s nothing you can do about it. It’s your body pumping adrenaline and blood really fast to your muscles. That’s why they are shaking.
@@bendover3865 it feels so unusual and it feels like I wasn't brought up to fight but more to be at peace (if you know what I mean) and when the adrenaline is pumping I tend not to think and focus as much but to throw hands without thinking of what I need to aim for

Rephund You should look into martial arts, even if it's only 6 months to a year. It should help you gain confidence in your own skills therefor lowering your nervousness or at least, help you cope with it

My problem is that I have to deal with drama and dangerous situations at work all the time. My adrenaline goes sky high, and I start shaking...which I believe comes across as fear and makes me look weak. I'm a 50's woman, and can't afford to look weak...I need to look more confident than a 20 something huge male meth head. The funny thing IS, that I'm basically fearless and a pretty good strategist, but the shaking thing when my adrenaline gets up is NOT COOL! Maybe self defense training is in order!
Ight so i live in Riverside california im 13 years old and in the 8th grade i was at jurupa 14 where people watch movies and i was with alot of friends outside I saw a kid that would always talk shit on me and he wanted to fight and his friend came up to me and he said you wanna fight him and i said yeah im down and there was a bunch of people and 20 of my friends were there and there were another 20 people and when we started fighting adrenaline kicked in when he was about to pick me up and he got to the ground and i started beating the shit outta him on the face and they pulled me off bc i was going to far and i won the fight

had an encounter today with someone that olmost ended up in a fight and man so much adrenaline suddenly rushed through my body it made me light headed and my knees became weak for about 2 or 3 seconds. and it's not because i was scared of the dude it's just that i had no control over it so it dominated me. amazing feeling tho.

The only problem is like in school there are fights which we cant avoid but all if i might hit hard punch to face other person might bleed then there whole parents calling and shit so then i get scolding and things like we are sending you to expensive private school for your education what are you doing, what will you do if school kicks you out. Such stuff makes me try to avoid fight or not hitting properly in school fights. Also its like even if i beat em they bring like their whole gang next day what will you do then so i try to avoid all fights everytime but it sure hurts my image in school, but you gota do whats right for you. 😞😔😭

When I am into adrenaline my whole stats grow up as well as not losing my control, giving strength to my inner strength. It is like my whole body can do anything and react to everything insanely fast around me neither living nor non living. Everything becomes a threat to me when I am ready to confront something. I have never lost my control because of adrenaline in my life. It is like a battle mode more than a survival instinct.

Its like you can fight your trainer full blast in the cage and feel no adrenaline issue cos you don’t feel threatened for example. But a person in the real world meaning you harm can cause an adrenaline dump. You need to be able to practice with exposure at keeping that unthreatened state during altercations. Its not easy, but with enough practice and exposure possible. Most ppl won’t get the chance to master that obviously

My son is 12 and trains mma at our local gym, it helps a lot. Because in a fight you DONT rise to the occasion, you fall to your basic level of training. Some times I help him train by bullying him a little, it takes gradual exposure like any fear does. Gradual consistent exposure is the key bro - with confidence and familiarity you gain control/focus.

What you felt is normal reaction, it's the side effects of big adrenaline release. Unfotunately, this situation is not good for you in a fight scenario - not only are you shaky and weak, but you can't think straight under pressure. This entire adrenaline dump is triggered by fear mostly (fight, flight, freeze).
My 12yo son does MMA training at our local fight gym, and it has helped him tremendously. The only way to overcome this hand shake you speak of is EXPOSURE. Over, and over. I would recommend doing a ring sport. A real one, like boxing or muay thai. Once you get familiar feeling of being hit and countering back a lot of your problem will just fade away. With my son he gets me to "bully" him a bit during warm up, where I try to stand over him while sparring and put him into that head space somewhat, so he can just practise keeping focused during it.
Its something you have to approach gradually and properly. It's like when you hold pads for someone else to punch and kick eventually you stop flinching from their strikes. Its all about consistent exposure, hope this helps! P.s A lot of ppl mistakenly think they will "rise" to the occasion in a fight, but reality is you fall to your basic level of training

Im torn I was not able to hurt him because he deserve to be beat up since he beats up women. but he is huge and the consequences of being knocked out were so dire. I couldnt afford to be knocked out with no one out to keep me from getting my head curb stomped. i grapple and I box and im not good enough at either to do them properly when Im afraid and super pissed and my adrenaline is going.

Hello,I'm 17 and I'm training MMA for almost 2 years(last 1 mont on a proffesional leve,2 trainings per day) and I am not a small guy but aint big guy(5'7)..I had one situation 3 days ago...Me and my friend had some problems with some guy so we decided to met that guy and solve the problem we met him and he took us to his 2 friend one of them was unknown to us,but the other guy we knew....The guy that we were not knowing(he was like 6'1,but skinny not much but he eas skinny) started to be a lil bit cocky so that scared me a lil bit but in my head I was like fuck that I will fight if I need to,the thing that also scared me was that he was talking so calmn but in the same time he was cocky I tought he is experienced in this,so the whole time he was talking to my friend acting tough,he said that he could slap all of us(my friend,me and all our friends)that made me angry...Then he continued to talk and I stopped him to ask something(I wasn't cocky)and he telled me:"What do you want dwarf?"(he was frustrated) And I reply to him:"Who do you call dwarf?"(I tought that I sounded insecure,but my friend tell me that I sounded pretty confident,after we were talking) and I was standing with clenched fists staring at him right in the eyes...So that guy started to get up(my adrenaline rush was hugeee at that moment)and then suddenly he sat back(his face was like:You are playng with your life) I was like in myself damn I almost started a fight(at that moment I was thinking he could maybe beat me)...Everything ended without fighting...After that I was like what the fuck I was thinking,I mean I train with one of the best fighter in the Europe I train 2 time per day(sometimes more) I could kick his ass easy...So I think the main cause of so much adrenaline rush was my inexperience on the steets(I fight like 5 times in last 7 yrs)What do you think I should do to solve this problem?
Great question Sidoslav. First off, it's great that this ended with no fights. Always keep in mind that it's best to avoid fighting if you can. Always use verbal defense to defuse a fight. Weapons can come out, knives, guns, etc. Multiple attackers can add in and jump in. Also there can be revenge cases. Lastly there can be legal consequences. So, when you can avoid a fight, it's always best to do it. If you have no choice and need to protect yourself, it's great to learn self defense for that. Your MMA training is an awesome thing. Same problem I may be stronger than guy And maybe I can beat him but still when fight is about to start I get adrenaline rush and my leg start shaking and it make me feel weak .. It's dosent make me feel strong instead it make me feel weak and stutter my mouth.... What can I do ?
@@chillstreak8301 It's normal,I talked with few MMA fighters and they said that it's totally normal,some MMA fighter use their arms when they are entering the octagon,because you have few stairs and their legs are shaking a lot because of very high adrenaline level,so they are affraid to fell and then they use their hands for better balance,so you can imagine how much adrenaline is higher when you are going into MMA fight than a street fight,some of them told me that it is 3 times worser to do a MMA fight than a street fight...Don't worry,don't think about anything just go there and punch,when it lands and when fight starts you will see that it's much scarier when fight is going to happend than when its happening...

I got attacked in a parking lot downtown at night. The adrenaline was crazy. He threw me to the ground, but I didn't even feel it. I got up and booked it faster than any 100m sprint I've ever done for track and field.
When I was finally fairly safe at a casino with security, I saw a guy who looked exactly like my attacker run across the road toward me. I'm still not completely sure if that was the attacker, but I have trouble believing that he was just trying to cross the road quickly. As my friend stood on the stairs frozen in shock, I ran into the casino where the security agents gave us some water and made sure we were safe until my friend's mom was finally done gambling or whatever.
Even now about an hour later, I'm still completely awake despite it being 2am. I'm just glad that he didn't attack my friend who is a lot smaller than me.
I think I made the right call by sprinting out of there, because even if I was cornered, I would stand no chance against him. At least I live in Canada, so there's a lot smaller chance of people carrying knifes and guns, because otherwise I would be dead right now.

You dont really want to fight bigger guys if you dont know how to fight just avoid fights anyway possible or just learn how to fight in a gym
Besides the Adrenalin rush, the biggest problem is the "I'm going to get the shit kicked out of me..." thought. It's lack of confidence, good because it means I'm not complacent but bad because the voices of fear take over. Cancelling out that internal noise is the biggest problem...there must be some kind of meditation technique to practice mastering this?
You need to train to have an aggressive mind set instead of worrying what will happen to yourself think about want your going to do to them "become the attaker".

Hello! I'm a 5"2 woman who was recently physically attacked by my 6"2 ex boyfriend. He caught me off guard and started to punch me while I was in my car pulling out of my parking stall in reverse. I had never been in a physical fight before. My immediate response was to protect my face. He punched me hard on both sides of my head 4 to 6 times. My reading glasses that I was wearing broke in half. I am trying to understand adrenaline because even though he hit me extremely hard, in those few seconds I did not feel the physical pain. Why is that? Later on, my head was hurting and I felt a lot of pressure. I'd like to get training in self defense now and look forward in learning 🙏🏼

I found that when I was younger and I knew I had to fight somebody after school,I would visualise winning the fight before hand and it helped a lot.it worked for me you have to go in with confidence. Still got my ass kicked sometimes but it helped

When I first fought the adrenaline was what it got me bcause what was a big rage discussion with a kid turned into both of us fighting and when the adrenaline came it just made my whole body aware of what was happening and I couldn't remember any of the things I trained because my brain was just focused on that and that only so that is why it was so hard to fight and after that fight I always try to control my adrenaline a bit so I can use a bit of my memory as my advantage.

Nick, Mike Tyson said, "everybody's got a plan until they get cracked in the mouth." I would like you to take this discussion in a different direction if you don't mind,. You mentioned getting stabbed and how your buddy was able to keep going. He also knew he would die if he didn't. Different pain causes different subtle psychological responses. For instance, what are some pointers regarding how to keep going when you take a hard shot to the nose and you hear a crack and the blood starts pouring down?? What about if you lose a tooth? That isn't just about the pain. It is about "oh know my face is never gonna look the same again" and even though you don't have time to think about that consciously it registers unconsciously to most people except pro MMA guys, some boxers perhaps, and some real animals who have been hit in the street so many times that they don't care anymore. What do you do when you hear that crack as your nose gets smashed in or your jaw gets busted? I have had some fights. I have done a lot of training and been hit pretty hard but what in your expert opinion does one need to do to bypass that particular "psychological freeze response?"
Always revert to the most animalistic side of your brain In that scenario. It's the civil side that cares about how your face looks, just consider the fact that you are gonna survive, you are gonna keep that person from killing you, but you have to ignore the punches, you wont feel the pain anyway, you only feel the stun of your brain momentarily.
Avoid avoid and avoid until you can't. You get tooth knocked out,been there, or got yourself a broken nose, fight already started so no time for thinking and overthinking-that gets you killed. Mindset is all you got against this. Almost everything can be fixed, teeth, nose, bones... but with you thinking about that in real fight might get you killed and you can't fix that. So keep fighting if you're already in that situation.

My adrenaline dump is huge. I've got a great adrenal gland and I am used to adrenaline. I think that is key. Practice and getting used to the pluses of adrenaline. I have found that go into the world of adrenaline where I am objective and everything slows way down. Love that place. Expect that place when I need to be objective and time slows. Practice using adrenaline, getting used to adrenaline. I get thrown from my horse adrenaline is already there as I am slowly heading towards the ground. I get to pick out where I want to land and ROLL. I remember my horse rearing up, me sliding off his butt and laying there watching this horse in the air coming down to land. Oh so luckily the ground was soggy soil and thick grass. I had time to position my legs and shoulders for the least contact. 900 pounds! No problemo. I love adrenaline until AFTER the need for it dissipates. Ugh and Ugh.
***My Adrenaline Story***: there was no escape !
I was once attacked by about 15 dudes , and As I seen the group advancing towards me. My legs were getting heavy, the first striked my face with what seemed a clear knockout...
my eyes were locked onto his knuckles and I seen them being thrown at me in slowMo , still expecting this to be a knockout but I was surprisingly still standing ! Another 3 gripped and floored me , I was then repeatedly hit for about 30 seconds& by around 10 of them , It was my first time actually getting hit in the face , i have never been knocked out before ...
And I can tell you I did not feel a single scratch ! at this point they stopped and went away , I got up quietly looked at few of them in the eyes and left like nothing happened , they must have been quite surprised too , it’s when I got home and realized what just happened and did my research that I found out what an ADRENALINE RUSH was , I was so glad and fascinated that such a thing existed !

I'm a cashier and when I see someone shoplift or when I see an angry customer or someone speaks loudly to me, my adrenaline goes to the roof, I can control myself infront of the other person, at least that's what I think, but I really hate this feeling. I'm thinking to take martel art classes, so I can use it to my advantage.

I made mistake when I was younger not fighting back who supposed to have been my best friend, but I don’t think it was fear.. it was shock like you suppose to care about me and you’re tryin to brutally fight me! That was 17 years ago tho and lesson learned fight back even if it’s someone close. I think this girl was very jealous of me bc there was no legit reason I’m my book. I had her in the headlock bc we were fighting in the car and she bit the shit out of me ans I couldn’t feel a things for a whole after. This girl is much stronger now can bench 100lbs once. She still thinks she is so bad ass that I just want to workout my hardest and take few most necessary tips for fighting and if ever she disrespects me or gives me that vibe I’d love to show her that I’m not as weak as she thinks. Hey Brittany, It's good to hear that you are training and preparing for self-defense. That is already a huge steps towards safety in case someone decides to attack you. There are no age to be attacked, and also your attackers can be of any age and size as well. So, if you feel a person close to you is about to get rowdy, it's always best to de-escalate the situation. If you feel threatened to a point that the situation cannot be defused, you need to do what it takes to stay safe depending on the level of danger. So bottom line, live your life without worrying to much about this, but be prepared to fight back when a situation becomes dangerous. Hope this helps.

I wanna learn to control it, like...sometimes if I get in a fight, I feel that adrenaline coming up, but it’s like...I just stay there, and I can’t do anything, and even if I tried, it’s as if I wasn’t in control of my body anymore, and if I try to hit someone or something, I can’t...how do you think I could fix that? Or what can I do to be able to control my self when the adrenaline kicks in?

The thing about the law, is if there is enough people to testify against a physical encounter, it doesn’t matter what happened. I got jumped by a security guard and her three male friends. They stole my phone and knocked me unconscious. I woke up, being shoved under a car (so it would run me over the next day). I called the police once I became conscious, they knew the people already from previous calls. The police went to them and they all said nothing happened, so they let them go. It was one versus four, so it didn’t matter. My case was instantly dismissed. If you’re out numbered by the people who attack you and they defend each other, they will get off hands free.

Some guy in my school stole my money and my legs started shaking after i confronted him he started walking to me with all his friends and I couldn’t stop the shaking making them think i was scared..

Good question Youness. The adrenaline will certainly help you as your pain will be reduced and other things such as a gain in strength for some people. But, keep in mind that not everyone reacts the same to adrenaline. Take care

Hey, I had this incident a month ago where 5 guys approached me and a little girl I was with. We were walking back to the house. When suddenly this group of five guys started asking us questions saying “oh you got money that’s a nice chain and phone”. I could of already tell what were their intentions, so as soon as I tried to walk away with the little girl they grabbed her and left me with no choice but to fight. So the first two dudes the came to hit me I managed to take them out but than the other two tackled me and threw me to the ground and started kicking me. After acouple kicks they started running away and i took the little girl and did the same. They didn’t managed to do much damage to me or the girl since i protected myself pretty good. But I still would love to know what could I have done better in a scenario like this. All I have is military training sinces I’m on the army but they don’t teach us against this kind of stuff. If you could please make a video that would be great. Also this happened on the dark and it was alot harder to see since they were all in black and it was dark.

Turnty it’s adrenaline. I have the same problem. I just hop around and shake my arms at my sides and stuff. Breath. There’s nothing you can do about it. It’s your body pumping adrenaline and blood really fast to your muscles. That’s why they are shaking.
@@bendover3865 it feels so unusual and it feels like I wasn't brought up to fight but more to be at peace (if you know what I mean) and when the adrenaline is pumping I tend not to think and focus as much but to throw hands without thinking of what I need to aim for

Rephund You should look into martial arts, even if it's only 6 months to a year. It should help you gain confidence in your own skills therefor lowering your nervousness or at least, help you cope with it

My problem is that I have to deal with drama and dangerous situations at work all the time. My adrenaline goes sky high, and I start shaking...which I believe comes across as fear and makes me look weak. I'm a 50's woman, and can't afford to look weak...I need to look more confident than a 20 something huge male meth head. The funny thing IS, that I'm basically fearless and a pretty good strategist, but the shaking thing when my adrenaline gets up is NOT COOL! Maybe self defense training is in order!
Ight so i live in Riverside california im 13 years old and in the 8th grade i was at jurupa 14 where people watch movies and i was with alot of friends outside I saw a kid that would always talk shit on me and he wanted to fight and his friend came up to me and he said you wanna fight him and i said yeah im down and there was a bunch of people and 20 of my friends were there and there were another 20 people and when we started fighting adrenaline kicked in when he was about to pick me up and he got to the ground and i started beating the shit outta him on the face and they pulled me off bc i was going to far and i won the fight

had an encounter today with someone that olmost ended up in a fight and man so much adrenaline suddenly rushed through my body it made me light headed and my knees became weak for about 2 or 3 seconds. and it's not because i was scared of the dude it's just that i had no control over it so it dominated me. amazing feeling tho.

The only problem is like in school there are fights which we cant avoid but all if i might hit hard punch to face other person might bleed then there whole parents calling and shit so then i get scolding and things like we are sending you to expensive private school for your education what are you doing, what will you do if school kicks you out. Such stuff makes me try to avoid fight or not hitting properly in school fights. Also its like even if i beat em they bring like their whole gang next day what will you do then so i try to avoid all fights everytime but it sure hurts my image in school, but you gota do whats right for you. 😞😔😭
