I don't really have breathing issues or out of breath easily , however , I suffer with severe pressure in my head (anxiety related) which comes and goes and someone recommended to use this and give it try . I can honestly say after using this and following the video that I can definitely feel the pressure relief in my head .. it makes you feel so relax after a session
So far, so fun! Thank you for recording this. Got one for my asthmatic kiddo and since he thought it was weird, I’m using for post Covid shortness of breath sensations.🥴👍🏼
When I got my Breather I didn’t know it’s suppose suppose to make sound when you inhale and only on the exhale making a very little sound and I thought that was okay, been using it for a while now and I just now found out. My question is is it okay to use it with out the sound?
Oh that's how u use it in for 2; to 3 sec and hold 1 sec then our fast I'll get use to it been on air two weeks for dizziness fv1 31 so severe emphysema will let u know
How do you get to # 7 - 10 on the breather? Mine only goes up to 6, also mine came with an adapter without direction explaining what it is for . Does anyone know? Thanks
7 to 10 is your breathing effort while using The Breather. It's about your effort. See your Instructions or go here and watch these short videos - www.pnmedical.com/breather/
Hello Ron, The Breather requires a certain amount of pressure to engage the silicone diaphragm. So, if you hear it engage you have provided the pressure required to perform at that setting. If you are not feeling resistance at all, the diaphragm has not engaged and you will not feel the resistance. This was a safety protocol that was put in place. If you do not produce the pressure required for that resistance setting the diaphragm will not engage. All of our Breather devices have it. It is more prevalent in the Voice and Fit because of the amount of resistance that will be applied at the higher settings. Hope that makes sense. Please reach out to us over telephone (877) 414-4449 during US business hours so we can walk you through it if required. Or please attend one of our complimentary Free Breather User Training session; Details are on our website under BREATHER UNIVERSITY _ LIVE+DEMAND (events)- --> www.pnmedical.com/upcoming-events/
I imagine that on this channel there must be a video that teaches a person what breathing with the diaphragm is and how to do it. Otherwise, why tell people to use their diaphragm or breathe from the diaphragm or breathe with the diaphragm? I have no idea what breathing with or from or using the diaphragm means or is or how to do it.
Hi Jonny, Yes, we have different playlist on our Breather TV channel, and this one deals with Tele Health, but there are other playlists that deal with RMW - respiratory muscle weakness, and so on. Here's the link to the diaphragmatic breathing technique www.pnmedical.com/lessons/diaphragmatic-breathing-technique/ and please do check out our Situational Breathing Strategies (SBS) videos as well.

Have you reduced usage of inhaler/s if you were/are using them?
Does this help carbon dioxide retention

Should I do this before or after I use nebulizer? I use nebulizer 2x morning and 2x night. 20 percent lung function. I just started using this device.
What did the therapist tell you? Before or after?
I never asked. I don't even use it anymore
