Guys buy the seals from the dealership. Save your self time . Auto parts have the same manufacturer for this and they dont fit . just sharing my experience.
I feel bad for the car/its owner with all those hammering and prying! A ball-joint separator is a good investment here. If the BJ doesn’t separate from the CA after a few good hits, then it’s time to use a BJ separator!
I’ve done this for many cars for many years and have never ran into any problems or any early wear, I’m aware that I could’ve pulled out a torque wrench but I’ve done it so long it just came natural to use my impact gun that always gives me the right amount of torque needed for this situation. So I’m going to continue to do what I do and how I do it and u can judge from a far and okay your video games
@@victorymechanics199yea... doesn't mean it's okay to do that man... definitely wouldn't take my car to you and this is why everyone in my family is too scared to take their car anywhere to get it worked on so I have to do everything and I do it by the book besides spark plug torque specs and shut like that. "I haven't experienced any early wear bla bla" like that's not even something u can calculate.. maybe the customer happened to go somewhere else a year ago with their failed parts put on by you

What is the fluid that drains out, and if it's transmission fluid, how much do I put back in?
I replaced both my front cv axle and now there's a grinding noise from the trans. Any ideas?
Torque specs
@@Mr.purples787 he is on 2013 so idk. But 2008 - 12 accord is 242 ft lbs. 181 ft lb for earlier. V6 is also 181. I got it from the book i got
Rip
@@Mr.purples787 torque specs for what? For the axle nut, or else?
Pickle fork is the easiest way to separate the ball joint from the control arm
Also good way to ruin a balljoint boot.
how strong of impact gun do i need ? specs please ?

Or a pickle fork
Axle looks totally different new one is rounded at the edges the other one
I dont like this guy. He didn't even torque down the axle nut right.
