I haven’t heard anything that has been brought out in the trial that he would need to testify to. He has a right to remain silent, though admittedly sometimes he lacks the ability. Unless Cohen has some corroborating evidence to go along with his testimony, I don’t see any reason for Trump to take the stand. I won’t be surprised if he does take the stand, but I don’t think he should.
