      Probably the best interview about trading Ive heard. You seem honest and I didnt feel you pushing to sell a system or classes.
      Now that you have climbed the financial mountain and the highest mountain, now seek the mountain of The Most High. It is in Saudi Arabia. Jebel Al-Lawz. Watch the videos of Ron Wyatt to see what he has found. The only thing he found that you can't see is The Ark of the Covenant. But I have found proof in scripture that he did find it. 100%. And Im not selling anything. But stay away from the coasts. Especially Hawaii. Disaster is coming. I was shown Revelation 8:8. It is Hawaii. The Maui fires is probably Revelation 8:7 and is a warning. They started on 8/7/23. If you or anyone has questions just ask. Im trying to learn how to make videos to share what I have been shown. I know it sounds crazy. I have proof in numbers. Just ask.

      So enjoyable! I had his book in my shopping cart for a long time, when it was still relatively new. Didn't get around to ordering it. I liked that he had a PhD in chemical engineering, made it likely that I'd be able to understand what he wrote rather than when coming from someone with a PhD in economics or a long career at a financial institution or whatever.
      Am learning various things from this. Cool.

Bendiciones

    He says the right words, but the BS-o-meter starts flashing when a guy who started trading 8 years ago has written so many books. I know he is a PhD and likes to learn and write, but that is a LOT of effort. I believe in diversifying income, but writing 10 books seems like a lot, if he really is such a successful trader.

    I like options because I can buy multiple contracts and manage and trim the positions if they become profitable. I use the same strategies as someone going long or short on a stock. I start out with a 20% stop loss and 3 contracts. If the trade goes in my favor I trim the first contract at 20% the second contract at 40% and then I let the 3rd contract run sometimes past 100%. Having said that, I have had my fair share of trades where all 3 contracts got stopped out for my 20% maximum loss.

    Appreciate this a bunch! When I first started learning about trading the 2nd step of mechanically doing the trades was pretty overwhelming to be honest and just trying to get used to your platform. But like everything we want to learn, we need to repeat it over and over. That’s why it’s good to start out with a sim of your platform if you can, or start small.

    If you're one trade away from going broke, you're gambling not day trading. Day trading is employing the edge of the Casinos to the market. You flip a coin 100 times, earn 3 when you win, pay out 1 to the market when you lose. Expect total random outcomes, no individual trade is important. Don't buy the gambler's fear of losing or greed. Be calm as cucumber because the math is on your side. Casinos never panic when someone starts winning. Because they bet on the 100 flip out come. Just set your trade and go about your day. You may have a 6 losing streak, but the last 4 will always put you in the green. It's the law of random numbers. If you don't allow your amygdala get in the way, it's impossible to lose doing day trading. Happy days.

    • @TideV2
      @TideV2 Рік тому

      Yes of course if you manage your risk 1 trade should never take you out but I think hes just speaking to all it takes is one trade if you let it. Take too much size, get stubborn, maybe its an options play or a low float halting it can get ugly really really fast. So yes that should not be possible with even a remote understanding of risk management but it is possible especially for those less experienced and over aggressive.

    Right now I day trade stocks. I still have a long way to go in terms of learning how to trade this. I have studied options trading, but I don't feel I know enough about options to trade it. So, I'm not sure.

    Another great interview. What a lovely modest man Andrew is.

    Excellent interview, got to know Andrew from another angle! For me, the question of daily trading schedule is very interesting. I think one should experiment and track data for all times of day to arrive at the optimum... because outside your prime hours, one is only wasting time and energy to execute. E.g. I found that I'm terrible at the open and found that my prime hours are around 10:30-12:30, although I always heard those were the slow hours :PP
