Something I’ve just thought of that I’m gonna post here, I’m not 100% sure if the link monsters can summon by returning monsters to the extra deck because of the “and if you do” conjunction. If somebody knows let me know or reply to this comment so others can find out too!
Branded Regained is worded similarly and works on extra deck monsters so I *think* the links should be able to return monsters to extra deck and still summon. But I’m not a judge!
Remember Ogdoadic Dawn exists. That card allows u to summon like 4 reptile tokens just by itself. A little ogdoadic engine can easily search that card with 1 card combo without wasting normal summon.
@@truekingofallgeneraidersdefinitely 1 Sword Serpent, otherwise Snake Rain will often be useless, especially since Tokage doesn't even have any effect in the gy, which also makes Nunu worse.
@@Scraftingto be minimalistic 3 Nauya, 1 Keurse and 1 Dawn is all you need. A 1.5 card combo that takes your normal summon is better than 2 cards combo that doesn't.
works woth traptrix, they bridge into jasmine while being a good standalone engine and the raikas let you play greedy into nib if you open the insect or the plant one
btw, the 1 card no brick combo can have loads of follow up with one discard if you search the spell instead of the insect originally, then use the spell to search the insect
pretty cool! thanks for sharing as quickly as you did. One monster I felt like bringing up that can syphon a lot of potential within this archetype is Serpentine Princess. I think the design behind this deck was made for a card like that, and the level of synergy between Princess and the Link monsters are quite at another level if some lines can be figured out with it.
Yeah serpentine is obviously a very powerful card in regards to the links effects. My issue comes with how you play it. Because it’s not a starter so I doubt it’s a 3 of? It’s more usable turn 3 but searching it isn’t simple? Maybe some form of rank 4 extenders to make feral imps to search it after turn 1? It’s hard to say. But the card certainly is interesting. Thank you for watching (:
Ogdoadic seems like the most common approach I seen/tested around into getting the Princess into rotation. I wholeheartedly agree its not a started nor a card we should be playing 3 of, but yeah I think theres some potential there as we keep exploring the theme @@aegisygo7406

The only problem is sowing locks you into plants from the extra deck which means you can’t go into the bigger links since they’re insects and reptiles. ogdoadict tier 1 in next format 😂
Yeah, any ideas for a small ogdo engine?

These cards are really nice imo. Can’t wait to get them in 4-5 months

Or he could add both the insect and the spell, banish the insect and reborn it with the spell
100% a more optimal line!
Thanks for the explanation
Tiny hint; Trap only counts link monsters.
Reading is hard

any ideas for the ratios?

Some archetypes where it can work with:
Orgdaodic
Therion
Beetrooper
Maybe more?
the most obvious i thought of was traptrix. traptrix fills in perfectly with raikas missing disruption effects.
i wanna see its work in "c" arctype too 😂
