Everyone knows this. It is literally a tutorial that pops up in the corner. The game itself tells you this is a feature. When riding up the mountain with javier to look for john is specifically when it tell you to use it.
As a die hard God of War fan, this game should have get the GOTY instead. RDR2 is what a call a next gen game. Graphics, gameplay, mechanics and story is on point. I really have no idea how it didn't get goty.
#8 isn't a hidden mechanic. You're just getting arrested. If you go to jail, the bounty is null. It's not a fine you have to pay. It's the price that bounty hunters would have gotten paid for apprehending you if that was sometime that actually happens in this game.
Forgive me if I misunderstand but you said "if that was something that actually happens in this game" and if I'm not mistaken it is, if your bounty is low enough you can surrender to the hunters I could be misremembering though, I never really give them the chance
There's a handful I figured out from gameplay but every now an then there's a small detail or something I didn't know how to trigger I appreciate you man! Please keep making videos like this :) Also with regards to number 6 if you have your camp setup already you will teleport to it and it'll take less time whereas it may take 3 seconds it'll happen in like 1 second :)

It will be the respective buttons you can look at the prompt in the bottom right for which button is beat and dismiss, grapple is probably with the same button as horse mount.

I like the sit spots you found in this series, I didn't know about a lot of these. One that I recently found is over the east end of the long train tunnel in Grizzlies East. #9 Improved Arrows with the Bow will also kill more than one NPC with a single arrow. BTW, you should really do an advanced melee game mechanics vid. While I've been working on my melee skills and trying to figure them out, you seem to have a lot more figured out than I do. I had no idea about the crouch and knockout punch move you had in another vid in this series. It seems some of them depend on how much life the opponent has left; the head smash only works after they've been beaten on for a while. Oh, and idea for you if you do another one in this series: I recently found out that using poison arrows, if shot in a "non-lethal" spot will cause the animal to crawl off, suffer and finally die after a while without intervention. If you are wanting to "study" dangerous animals for the compendium like Timber Wolves, Panthers and Cougars, doing this will give you a chance to walk up to them and study them before they die.
(Edit: added a feature i found at the end of the comment) I thought the window throw was a result of dismissing the enemy in the direction of the window, but its been awhile since i tried it.. (pushing movement direction throws the enemy in the direction you push, could this potentially allow you to long throw without having to grab 3 times?) Also, the blood in the water also works if youre just bloody in general, like from carrying an animal, and the saddlebags can also be looted if you calm and pat the horse first Idk if you would call it hidden but a neat feature i like to use is, when you grapple an enemy you can click in L3 (idk pc, try crouch key) and you'll force them to the ground while still grappling them. Makes for some interesting fights, and if you do it in shallow water and hold the choke button, you'll drown the npc in the water instead of choking
If you’re dirty and in need of a quick cleaning, just swap to the same or another outfit and voila. Carry big pelt or a carcass then press O to kick people.
Why doesn't #11 work? I first use a sawed off shotgun then throw them then grab them again with a knife and throw them and grab him from the back but when i dismiss it js does the normal throwing thingy
Not trynn rain on your parade but try going for something better. I also have the white arabian but want the mssisouri fox trotter or turkoman (bravery stats) and msft for its accelatrion and max speed. Arabian is good but always thrive for the best

It's really stupid that if you ride a stolen horse long enough to bond with it all the loot in the saddle bags just disappears.

If you place your horse on top of an animal carcass you want to skin, Arthur will do it super fast without the animation
