what i'm getting from this... is we'll be able to watch a video in vr in real time... and we'll be able to move around in the 'video'.

Yes. Combine that with a technology like OpenAI's "Sora" that simulates reality. Then we have the matrix.

I've also tested sora on 4D-GS, it's still hard to generate 4D scenes in monocular video input :(@@ViceZone

does it need only 2 videos for that quality?
and what will happen when I use videos made by different cameras?

Do you forsee a future where this can be livestreamed? So we have livestreams if talent as a gaussian splat?

Think there is a chance to see this tech implemented by third party plugins in game engines like UE or Unity?

is it possible to touch it yourself? or are there only closed tests now?

      thanks for the response!
Tell me - how many cameras shoot this frame at the same time? (I don't see this info anywhere, sorry) @@吴官骏

@@PrinceBrosnan not sure if you understand the technology correctly. There are no cameras. This is all computer generated and it's like a 3d space where the observer can move around and look.

Everyone this isn't new in the research field. It just barely has any industrial or mainstream application.
