Fi doesn’t die in Skyward Sword, she goes into a slumber to seal away demise within the master sword. A VERY LONG SLUMBER! So long she might as well have been considered dead for every game in the timeline from Skyward Sword onward.
Wouldn't that mean that if the master sword's seal is somehow released, we could hypothetically have a Legend of Zelda game with Ganondorf and Demise existing as separate entities? Food for thought.
@@joshuasanders162 Demise cursed the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero to battle a reincarnation of his rage. Ganondorf and Ganon are the reincarnations. So it’s possible because Demise is sealed away in the Mastersword however seeing how the mastersword has been depowered or broken several times. I don’t think anything evil resides within the mastersword anymore. It’s safe to say Demise is dead.

Midna's voice in Twilight Princess is English, but the audio is literally reversed. I kinda picked up on it when I played the Wii version. It makes her feel more alien to Hyrule. Assuming the races of hyrule spoke English, they would talk normally like You and I

When I picked up TOTK I had just finished Skyward Sword HD, and I think the TOTK Master Sword actually makes some of the same sound effects that it does in Skyward. Hoping my girl Fi is all right in there, that must have been a rude awakening!

Cause in Skyword, Link had few companions to teach him how to fight or go around, not that years have passed and legends grew, seeing that Link now has allies to teach him how to fight is why Fi has not shown up

The sound of the sword lighting up at the time where Link sends the master sword back in time to Zelda in TOTK is the same sound it makes when Fi has something to say in SS. Just thought it was interesting

Midna had a similar on-screen speech pattern. However, I would agree that this could be Fi given what we know of her, the Master Sword, and Demise by the end of Skyward Sword. If both Fi and Demise were still within the Master Sword when Ganondorf awakens, then what's stopping both from being released when the Master Sword breaks when it's drenched in Malice?

I still think it’s awesome how skyward sword takes you from the end of the downfall timeline, all the way to the beginning of everything. The “present” in skyward sword must be at the end, with the “past” being the very first era. Impa says you have to leave the sword in Hylia’s realm (past) for future heroes, meaning that taking it to the future again would have it gone for a large chunk of time. Going on the quest to turn the goddess sword into the Master Sword was such a cool way to drive the story
The answer is no. It is not Fi’s voice. Fi’s theme does however play and is incorporated into make parts of the score. Fi can and does communicate, but only to Zelda telepathically.

The official japanese writing is, ファイ Fai. Hyrule Warriors, helps as while the events in game are not canon, the name of the characters are. It's pronounced like "f-eye" and rhymes with Sky. It's consistent with the Japanese pronunciation, ファイ Fai.
And it's wrong, the official translation is FAI pronounced F-eye as in, the spirit in the sky for the game in the sky SKYward sword FI in the Sky not fee in the sky
Unfortunately, TOTK has been hinted at having more direct ties to Skyward Sword than Ocarina of Time, so the chancs of Navi coming back, at least based off of what we know at this point, appear to be slim at best. However, if there's some sort of convergence of the timelines or a creation of a time loop as some have hypothesized, then perhaps those chances could increase?
Fi is an eternal being that lives inside the master Sword fur EONS. Navi is just a fairy that lived probably like 80,000 years ago during ocarina of time. Of course FI is the one who will appear DUH!

Fi was known for singing, at least for skyward sword during the harp parts.
