There are hundreds of genebanks all around the world, they are just specific to a region, and to the crops that grow there. The "doomsday vault" is a global seed vault, meaning that it works like a backup for all the smaller vaults, in case of a catastrophe, a war, etc. It's not really meant to be used in case of a global catastrophe, but instead regional ones. It has only been used twice (in 2015 and 2017) because of the syrian civil war. So it's good to have, but it's not necessary to have more than one. Hope that helps!

Won’t it be hard to get the seeds from Svalbard to anywhere else in the world , because I assume most of the seeds won’t be able to grow in a very cold climate. Unless they have somewhere in the vault to grow the seeds in the right conditions I think it will be hard to transport (because planes would probably be scarce and it’s like near the North Pole

First we try to clean up the pollutants and stabilize the area near the seed vault then build a large presence. Once ground, water and air pollution is at levels the plants can handle then we open the vault and start propagating the seeds.
They should have seperate rooms with manuals on how to make things out of the plants and other important information for rebuilding society (idk if they do but if they don’t they should, now comes the real question how do I propose that idea)
