- In honor of Mother’s Day coming up, I wanted to share a song that I wrote a while back and haven’t released yet… in light of some recent news of my Mom Judy’s cancer returning after 25 years, I’d love to ask you to pray for her, and to honor her with this song. I hope this resonates with you and maybe encourages those of us who are blessed to still have our Moms with us to hug ‘em tight & love them a little extra this weekend! Thank you Mom for showing me how to live at the “Speed of Love”!

I worked with your mom, Judy, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was a super sweet lady. I’ll be praying for her.
Almighty God, please surround Mom Judy with your eternal hesed-Like love! Please touch her body and cause her to feel relief. She has served you throughout her life, please show her during this difficult time the ways she has encouraged believers and given hope to the stranger. In Jesus, matchless name, amen.

As I was listening to you sing, I was thinking of my beautiful mother Caroline.She died 27 years ago.
After coming to church and having people lay hands on her she did go back to the Dr for a follow up appointment and he said your cancer is gone.
Then unfortunately a few months later, her cancer came back and she went home to be with Jesus a few months later.😢

Steven I am praying for your mom Judy. I know something of what you are going through right now. My Grandma went through cancer twice and beat it both times. I was able to go work where she was living, so I could see her everyday while she was going through chemo that second time, because I had suffered a concussion, due to a car accident, and then was unable to continue in my previous job. My Grandma recovered from her second battle with cancer and I was given the gift of 15 more years with her, before she went home to be with our LORD at the age of 100! Thank you so much for this song to remind me of her and to bless my Mom with!
