Just back from the hospital and a heart attack. 65, first exposure was Gripp and Eno. Did a ton of looping with my late great pal Nash the Slash Having health issues, Robert's compositions keep me so balanced Enjoy!!!!.
Rob Fripp is my depression companion, his music looks like this friend who understands what you went through and pat you on the shoulders, his music is like empathy
Maybe that means he has really good emotional receptors, and gets that goose bump feeling with music. I think it correlates with really high intelligence or something; I read it somewhere but I might be wrong.
+thaddeus rex - since the 80s i´m into recording "weird" ambient music myself, using all kinds of sounds and noises (of course i´m influenced by robert fripp and brian eno) - when my daughter was small, she loved my music, and she would have loved this one (i hear it for the first time now, this is the softest i ever heard of robert fripp)... now she´s 14 and listens to mainly hiphop and pop music - well, she seems to have lost the connection to my stuff... i suppose, when she gets older, she will eventually come back to it one day... :-) cheers from germany
@Crimson Lens OFFICIAL but why in the world should i??? she´s very open minded and listens to a great variety of music - yesterday it was this: ua-cam.com/video/MejbOFk7H6c/v-deo.html prog enough? yay, don´t worry, all is well here, she is very distinctive in her choice - she loves young german hiphop (as long as it is peaceful), and bands like twenty one pilots, panic! at the disco (do you know their album "pretty odd"?), she likes trancy techno, and when she likes music in a movie, she doesn´t hesitate to search for it on youtube, be it stevie wonder, prince or earth, wind and fire from the film "happy feet" or whatever - and bob marley is also on her list, as well as many, many others... :-) btw. did you read my thoughts about the hippies in woodstock listening to swing and charleston? the other day a friend told me about the "bryan ferry orchestra", do you know it? it´s almost exactly what i had in mind, incredible! ua-cam.com/video/epV-btS6FzI/v-deo.html love and greetings from germany
Fripp is a reflective guitar player. He doesn't play just music but sounds and atmospheres. Is a very reconforting exercise to listen to it relaxed and going through every layer he had created. Después de un buen coito is the best
This reminds me a lot of what i used to play as a teenager on my synth. I didn't grow up listening to Robert Fripp, but i feel if i had, my music would have been the better for it.
Love this! Sounds wonderfully like a synth pad! It's odd to know that not many people within electronic music, the kind of people who like Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Bent, Funki Porcini, even have heard of this brilliant song or his Frippertronics albums!
They didn't, as far as I know. Fripp only collaborated on Heroes and scary monsters, both of which were way before this album, like 1 years before this album was out. Although there probaboy was a lot of Eno influence on both of their works, so you might be correct.

What music should be
Same here. His works with Brian Eno have been my go-to natural sedative for quite some years.
True musick, true reality
I agree totally. Also, the bands, Camel and The Moody Blues both have the same effect on me personally.
Soundscape Therapy
I heard this about 7 yrs ago. And today I listened to Fripp & Hall Sacred songs. And this popped up. Noisy and beautiful.
Fripp it will be always a genius and an innovator of the guitar.
My 3+ son really loves this still...every time he hears it, he mellows out...uncanny.
3 years pass and your son still loves it, very nice

thats nice dear
My two-month-old baby son really loves this
+thaddeus rex. ur son is right to love tis music. Fripp the master. enchanted!

@@friesiamans1966 I have confidence that much of the music That's played over the radio will be quite different in the next 10 year's.

No doubt...Influenced mine
Fripp is the great. Amazing sound.
I really love it and mellow out every time I hear it!
Pure gold, pure Fripp

This and let the power fall are perfection a beautiful piece.
Actually I consider Let the power fall at no lower level than J.S.Bach music❤
One of the best of all the Soundscapes.
Love Fripp, this music is exactly the way I'm
Love this.
C'est magnifique
Falling again and again on the sky...
Yes, the sky no longer seems to shelter us ....; (
thanks for having great taste in music, or i would have never been introduce to such a masterpiece
Robert Fripp is great

It predates the groups listed. Fripp was playing like this in the 1970s.

The Heavenly Music Corporation.
They were simpler times.
This is an art. I think it would be good for meditation too. Thank you.

Robert Fripp ur.16.05.1946 r. g., k.,świętuje swoje urodziny,100 lat i wszystkiego najlepszego drogi jubilacie !.
MERAVIGLIOSA....WONDERFUL!!!
God of music.
I don´t know anything about playing guitar, but if I had to learn how to play, I´d go doing Fripp-style
This sounding is really deep...
Music For A Near Death Experience if i ever heard one. All Is Well.
On repeat forever
What a gem!
thnk you for posting this sir!!

I had to google Mr. Fripp in order to find this music.

Nice :)
me love!
Wow, I love this kind of freedom and music ... where do I find it?
beautiful world. - Have you tried typing Robert Fripp and Sky into google? That's how the internet works.
🌱😃💙🥀
this one and #4 are my favorites... the other ones are more frightning and crazy! lol
Where can i find #4 ?? I can’t find the album anywhere even on spotify or sound cloud

First song really sounds like the B-side of David Bowie's Low album. They worked together at this time.

anyone know where/how this was recorded? was he playing a solo show in Argentina or was this his KC intro? thx!
I think at least 2k of the 185k ratings belong to me
Peach.............. .... EGG and chips for.........Peaches
does remind me of Rothko
Specifically the ending of weevil bride. It's kind of uncanny
I hate to complain but You Tube won’t let me subscribe to your channel.

22 non-humans with a handicap.....they were born with there thumbs upside down....
Used Windows Vista Project 0,5
Great track , sounds very similar to Bowie's Subterranean's which is not at all a bad thing.
Fripp played on Bowie's Berlin albums so not surprising. If you like Heroes, you like Fripp.
My god this is boring
There are infinitely more than quirks in this bizarre and rebellious sound architecture ... Like a naive soul not yet deflowered ;-)
@@MegaCirse yea thats it
Boring. Sounds like a 8 minutes long intro.
-.-
Yes, like "le boléro" by Maurice Ravel .......;)
that comment sounds like the total absence of feeling for sounds, harmonics, intervals etcetera. i`m pretty sorry for that.
