Did they mention that he won back to back EVOs in a year for 2 times. That's one hell of a record in Tekken history alone.
Craziest thing is that is, a majority of the years ever since his 2019 evo runs he didnt even have a chance to win(covid and leroy except for 2022). Basically what i'm saying is that he could have won more evo titles
@@er7776Leroy was even less fun than Covid
@@misantrope6267 I played some casual matches when i had covid. I stopped playing during season 3 Leroy until he got patched
4 EVO Title's in the span of 4 years...Arslan is definitely one hell of a player. Have no doubt in calling him the best.

50% succes rate xD
Knee is been winning for 30 years but we don't consider that..
As Arslan himself said, he might not be the best but he's 100% the most consistent
@@EggscellentTreeI think he has 60+% rate for the evos he joined lol (probably the highest win rate all time in tekken*).
It was YOUR video that initially bought attention to Arslan Ash and Pakistan, thank you

He deserves it, he went though hell to even get to America to prove himself, I'm honored to have him as the face of tekken he's a very humble man.
I can't really say Knee now because with the short time Arslan has in the pro scene, he already surpassed Knee in accomplishments.
Knee always read his nemesis.
Until Atif Butt arrived.
@shinodamasaru7945 oh come on! Till this day he's struggling against Arslan. Check the combo breaker 2023 winners finals and GF. Yes, every now and then knee rarely wins one against Arslan after losing whole lot.
😂 You should see the amount of denial from knee fanboys in korea. They're still claiming knee is the goat, while bringing up all sorts of shitty, lame ass arguments. I hope Arslan wins the TWT finals and shuts those braindead fans up for good.
@@Fereshteyknee won tokyo invitational against him, twt 2019 and lost on evo, combo breaker.
@bullseye7721 arslan also won twt 2022 against him. And in 2019 he beat him quite a lot. I forgot the count. After Tokyo invitational arslan won 3 times against him, and knee just won once in gamers 8.
Arslan is truly the 🐐. Barring the Evo Leroy, his lowest placing at evo is 3rd. Secondly, he has also shown that he can adapt and change his game. He dropped Kazumi for Zafina and then also picked Kuni as plauers were adpating to his Zafina. He is also a complete player and has the perfect balance bewteen defense and offense. Also takes risks, not just a turtle.
Fuck that EVO. Book didn't deserve that.
From top tier, to top tier, to top tier.
@@clubnightparadelol. Many professional players considered Kuni as mid tier(many still do) before Arslan went to win with her. Kkokkoma and chanel can't win anything with Kuni

I wonder if hed won if more Pakistanis made it to Evo. Atif Butt, The Jon, Kahn etc etc are all at his level of play. There are some real competition for the first place if the y just can get the visa thing working.
@@96bmbmaybe not, Arsalan is definitely the best but the Pakistani players play against Arsalan better than any international players.

@@muhammadhammaddar7381 Nah, Heera Malik, Awais, The Jon, and Kahn have all beaten Arslan before. Counting them out is doing them dirty. They win everything they enter, just like Arslan. Props to AO for even making it that Far. Ash is just too damn good no matter the characters. He's not a character specialist, He's a Tekken Specialist.
It's really hilarious when twitch lords say he's carried by characters. Not to mention the fact that he burst on the scene with a character that people had written off. Kazumi. Even kunimitsu was considered upper mid tier at best before Arslan showed how good she is. He just finds characters that serves his game plan doesn't matter how strong.
@@BullC6 Yeah ma bro.
I was literally talking about the same thing with my friend @TheDarkAce on his stream today. He was happy because Ash Won with his Favourite Character in the game. Me and Reese recalling that Ash Won with Vanilla characters and he can make them work no matter who they are.
@@BullC6Arslan can use any character too. Does anyone remember him beating everyone in a Pakistan Tournament using Lucky Chloe?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was inspired to use Lucky Chloe at the time because of Kaizur's crazy Chloe playstyle. xD
I mean, even if you do consider Kunimitsu busted, there's no argument to be made for the grand finals because Ao literally used the same character and still got clean swept. It wasn't even close.
lets see him play the bears and win Evo , he is not that great
Ao got second place in the first Tekken 7 vegas EVO in 2015, and now he got second place in the last tekken 7 vegas EVO, thats an interesting coincidence lol
Surprised this doesn't get mentioned enough!
If someone had to stop this menacing streak of Arslan, it would have been poetic if it was Nobi or Ao.
@@UltimateBallaPOMI was literally scared of AO so much. I never thought Arslan would beat him so easily. AO is too dangerous with Kunimitsu. But, then it's Arslan that we are talking about. This man is born to do miraculous things. MaShaAllah! ❤️
I want Knee Vs Arslan again forever.
Anyone whos says that Arslan just doesn't have a life and practices 24/7 fails to remember that other proficient players are the same as him yet they aren't a 4x Evo champ. And yes Arslan does spend hours in pracrice like any other pro Tekken player, but he's also just super gifted and talented at the game.
i agree
Wow what the hell, do people actually say that? That is the dumbest argument I've ever heard lmao, people have gotta be so salty if they resort to that.

I, like a few others, also think it’s a tie between Knee and Arslan. They are both great, but for each of their respective eras. Knee has been under tournament pressure for a long time and been through multiple Tekken games, yet still stood up as “the best”. Knee has been read by his opponents more. And there’s also Arslan, who (in only a few years) broke numerous records and catapulted Pakistan into the scene with his sheer skill. They’re both great for their own eras, like how some argue that Bobby Fischer and Magnus Carlsen are great chess players for their respective eras. At the end of the day this is what makes competition a never ending delight to watch.
The only real argument that makes it a "tie" between Knee and Arslan is, is that Arslan is just "new", while Knee has been under the limelight for a long time.
At that point, it's just a matter of gatekeeping. Like, how long will Knee's previous reputation continuously come up?
How many times does Arslan need to beat Knee until people acknowledge that he's the better player?
Knee's career was a slower burn over a long duration.
While Arslan's career was literally a bomb over the Tekken scene, opening up an entire new region which also revealed absolute top tier players.
@@estoylarocanow that's a good ass take. Ash single handedly destroyed all players from all regions , Korea , Japan , eu and put a different style of tekken on the map. He paved the way for other Pakistani superstars. Korea is not the best region anymore , it is Pakistan rn and that is why he is a legend not cuz of his wins but for what he has done for tekken and Pakistan all together.
The only difference is when Arslan loses even a one match, he's out of goat discussion. While jdcr who won in 2014 and likes of knee are forever in it, even if they win nothing. That's the only big factor here which introduces these kind of dueces you mentioned.
Knee's reign is coming to an end, but he will be remembered for sure.
Speaking of him, when was the last time he won EVO?

makes me wonder how dominant pakistan could've been if they we're in previous tekken series tourneys.
The dedication this guy has for the game is unparalleled. Amazing player.
It’s ARSLAN’s world and we are just busy nerfing characters in it.
thanks man, love your commentary! always look forward to it.
He was doing speedruning in the grand final. 🎉
The year Pakistan suddenly "appeared" in Tekken 7 internationally was really, REALLY fun! 😊
Just recently when arslan wasn't performing like he used to, I was of the view that he was playing kof also and playing high intensity tournament also that's why it affected his practice Tekken 7 and people who seemed to be jealous with arslan would go and say nah don't make lame excuses he's just average he's not that good anymore bla bla and here he proved himself again and created history.
Haters never understand logic or facts. That's why they were calling your facts an excuse. Don't worry about them as even they will be at one point forced to say that Arslan is the best because of Arslan's performances.
But why he had to prove again and again. Why the doubts have been there in spite of such dominance by him. Nobody had been such massively dominant in any field and had been doubted like Arslan. Goddarn 4 evos and absolute dominance across tekken major tourneys. People still have doubts, they get mad. They refuse to accept, why??
No other tekken pro player has to do quarter of what arslan did to earn the respect. 2014 champion jdcr is still goat for them.
No matter how many times knee and other lose, it's not an issue. But God forbid if Arslan loses one match.
TRUTH IS, ARSLAN IS WHAT NONE OF THESE PRO PLAYERS COULD EVER BE OR WILL BE. HE'S IN HIS OWN LEAGE, AND NIGHTMARE FOR RACISTS AND HATERS.

Knee is Seto Kaiba. Champion, everyone knows, the best player at his time.
Then comes a guy. No one knows him, and beats the Champion and everyone at the game. Arslan is the Yugi Muto.
That's old news. This guy Arslan now surpassed to be known as the one who beat knee.
He's beyond all that. His achievements are out of this world, never before seen. He achieved in a short time what other supposed goats couldn't in longest of times. I mean knee doesn't have this many evo titles.
As for beating knee is concerned, that he's still doing with ease, check their combo breaker 2023 finals and grand finals.
Sometimes knee wins but not before losing a lot.
There are about 10+ players including Currently twt champion Atif Butt And Dawood but we lost againt visa process
Arslan is a Mishima Specialist confirmed because he always wins the visa mix-up
Makes you think what if atif didn’t have as much visa issues, could he be a multi evo champ?
Atif is currently the best player in the world. It would have been very tough for everyone to beat him in any tournament. Arslan recently in an interview said Atif was his hardest opponent ever.
Atif, however, did attend Evo Japan and was promptly knocked out. The same Evo Japan that Arslan had an unbeaten record in, and won a convincing 3-0 grand finals. Other than TWT 2022 and Gamers8, we haven't seen big performances from Atif.
he amazes me everytime man hes incredible
First match in top 6 was tougher than the grand finals. It felt like one sided game
ao just had no chance, Ulsan woul'dve faired better.
@@metalsadmanyou never know with Arslan, he might have made the grand finale against Ulsan the similar way as it went against Ao. He has done this to everyone. 2019 is far, but he did this to knee recently in 2023. And has been doing it for a while now. Arslan is known to make grand finals very one sided regardless of who he's playing against.
As an oldhead and a pakistani I see it a bit differently.
Knee is the the last of the "old" legends in tekken that still performs to this day. The fact hes stood the test of time throughout all metas and games and enviroments, from arcade to console to online while still keeping up peak performance is worthy of GOAT status in my book.
He also tends to use characters that rely on fundementals moreso than arslan who IMO uses more gimmicky characters.
Having said that arslans record shows that no doubt hes the best tekken 7 player in the mainstream. His consistency coupled with performance makes this undeniable.
But I know from experience that not only are pakistanis better at the old games than the new ones due to having practisied them more and the arcade culture in Pakistan which Tekken was designed for but arslan isnt even the best in lahore let alone pakistan.
Tekken 8 will be the first game since pakistan came onto the scene so it will be intresting to see how they adapt to it because a ps5 is simply not affordable for the common man in pakistan especially with recent events. Hopefully the prize money can help with that and maybe bandai namco can help the scene themselves and maybe recognise it the way they do korea. Theyve certainly earned that much. Maybe one day theyll be a pakistani technique coined like the korean backdash
I hope the old heads from the korean scene stay relevant in the future as they represent the history of tekken and at the same time underground scenes like pakistan and different locals such as africa and europe make their mark too for the overall enrichment of the competitive scene. Whos to say who the champion of tekken 8 will be as that game has a very different philosophy. But as for 7 its very clear that at least at large arslan is the undisputed champion
The all time GOAT of tekken maybe still be Knee for his legacy of the game but I can guarrantee there are tons of pakistanis better than him at even the old tekken games we'll never hear of so the true GOAT is someone none of us know
HAHAHAHA. That flex of "Not even the best in Lahore"
@@hamadrehman853 yeah definitely a lie, Arslan is consistent on the big stage, it's different than playing with not that big of a stake at hand locally.

I think Arslan has a strong claim to greatest ever but I need to see him do this in another game. Some players can dominate just one game in a series that fits their style, while others can do it with any game. For him to be cemented I need to see him dominate the hyper aggressive Tekken 8.
That's a fair point. Knee has dominated a few titles now.
I agree. There is no doubt that Arslan is the greatest T7 player and can easily be talked about amongst the greats. Take a look at SF4, where a lot of epic names from that prime era were not able to make the transition to SF5 and perform at that same top level. Now, Tekken is much more of a "legacy" game that changes less with each iteration (I've been playing since T3), but T8 is still going to be a new game.
