I love Sadia at Pick Up Limes. There are homesteaders I love who are not 💯 vegan so I focus on the vegan content. Two of these are Downshiftology and Mary’s Nest.
I think she was trying to support lesser known vegan YT'ers. Avantgardevegan and Pickuplimes have a pretty big platform already. Just checked. They both have followers in the millions while the ones she showcased are much smaller.
One of the things I love most about this online vegan community is the generosity in sharing and desire to learn from one another. It benefits us all, as does cooperation anywhere. Thank you!
More vegan recipe book reviews!! This a series I would love to watch. There are so many out there and I I would ♥️ to know which ones are your must haves 🌱👩🏾🍳🌿
I love how you show how clumsy you are. It shows how we can really be in the kitchen. Not so neat and perfect. Also I’m enjoying your instant pot cookbook!!!
I'm so happy you're enjoying my cookbook :) And yes, I've always been so clumsy lol, it's wired into my DNA 😂 Luckily, you can still make tasty meals if you are clumsy!
RainbowPlantLife You know they keep me happy. Don’t ever let some agent advise you to change your quirkiness; it’s a huge part of your charm & what draws me to your channel.
My whole family LOVES your Instant Pot cookbook!! My daughters and I watched a few of your UA-cam videos and all agreed we needed to buy your cookbook. We've been making a recipe a day and everything has been so good. We are not fully vegan but try to eat plant based as much as we can.
I definitely recommend the Sweet Potato Soul cookbook as well!! Jenné is wonderful; you should check out her website/UA-cam channel, too! And I'm definitely going to be looking into the other recommended books 😋😍
The Vegan 8 is AMAZING!! Each recipe turns out very delicious. She is also a great person who will always return your emails if you have any questions about a recipe. Thanks for introducing the other books!!
I totally agree - Brandi is such a wonderful person in addition to an amazing recipe developer and blogger! Have you tried the chocolate chip cookies from her book? They are a favorite of mine!
RainbowPlantLife I’ve tried every recipe of hers 😳. I need to try others. I plan on buying your book this week. I also just started following Chef Jana and Spain on a Fork. I’ve been making paella almost every night this month.
Marcello Rusciano I seriously doubt it. Nisha is adorable and full of joy that she shares w/us. And as for not being vegan, you don’t have to be. Just have some vegan meals now & again. Nisha has vids on what’s in her pantry. Start w/the dry goods & store them in mason jars. Then get the liquids like Tamari soy sauce. Most of the pantry ingredients have a long shelf life.
This was SO fun to watch Nisha! I can't thank you enough for making the Cream Cheese Spinach artichoke dip and sharing my book with your followers, that was so kind of you and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I loved the pancakes and Korean dish you shared too, definitely need to try those! I also enjoyed your dance moves and sneeze, hahaha! Thanks friend! xx
OMG your spinach artichoke dip is AMAZING!!! I will be buying your book! I had my grown sons and husband try it and they loved it! I had to stop myself from eating it all before I baked it. lol I love how you keep it simple with eight ingredients! Anyway I can't wait to try more of your recipes! THANK YOU!
@@fairydustbunnies That makes me so happy to hear Renee! Thank you so much for making it and sharing how it turned out!! And thank you for buying my book, that means so much. I hope you love it. So grateful to Nisha for sharing my book!
Whoa, Nisha, every one of those dishes came out amazing, I can practically smell them through my iPad. Thanks for showing us those, and introducing me to new vegans. Good luck in your new home! I live south of you in Huntington Beach. If you make an appearance down here, like for another new cookbook -hint hint - please let us know.
There are so many incredible female cookbook authors! I cannot wait for Joanne's cookbook to come out! Also, Max was so serious in picking the recipes to make I know for sure these 3 recipes are a must-try!
What a BOMB video idea! Honestly, I love how you're thinking about us(and making videos) while managing such a big change in your life! Also, the concept is just phenomenal! Invariably fun and inspiring but at the same time enjoyable for you to make in spite of time shortage :D Side note: I can NEVER stick to recipes, but seeing you succeed makes me want to try some recipes now :D I love experimenting, but not without a reason recipe developers make many tests before coming up with the final version :D . You’re so sweet Margaret! I’m so happy you love my video and the concept! I love sticking to a recipe the first time around as long as I have the ingredients, it’s a fun process, and then I usually switch it up or modify it the next time!
I just went vegan due to a 30-day challenge through my church. I just found your channel. I am learning a lot and really enjoy your videos. I love how real you are in your videos. Most people will edit their videos if they make mistakes. I love that you don't do that. It makes you real and easier to relate to.
Sweetpotatosoul was one of the first vegan youtube channels I watched and used the recipes from. I still use a lot of her recipes, especially the sweet potato biscuits and the corn chowder.
Your channel is one of my favorites, Nisha. I love your personality and sense of humor. I've only tried one thing so far from your channel, but look forward to learning and trying more. I tried the sesame turmeric based sauce (from another video). It goes well with everything! :) Tried it on roast chickpeas and added it to a 'garden of vegan' meal I had delivered, which was mostly a salad with black bean noodles. Sometimes when it thickens up, I use it as a "cheese". Thank you for teaching cooking in a way that makes it fun and enjoyable. :)
Thank you so much for doing this video! I really want to get The Vegan 8 book now! I made cashew yogurt yesterday and I had spinach I had to use so I decided that the spinach artichoke dip would be good. So easy and so GOOD! My husband and my youngest son who is 26 said it was really good! I was eating it before I baked it. LOL Now I have to try to other two!
I audibly gasped when I saw the oil on your shirt 🤣 I hope you got the stain out because that is *your* color for sure! Loved the video and that tofu...I must make
I make a suuuuuper similar crunchy tofu dish pretty regularly for my omnivore hunky, who genuinely loves it MORE than I do, and actually requests it. Anyway, a couple of tips! If you have any of those plastic bags that veggies come in from the store, save them! After I cube my tofu, I put them in one of those bags, drop in the starch, and fold over the opened end a couple of times so it’s basically a giant pocket of air, gently shaking the whole bag to coat. Totally mess-free for your hands, and keeps all the cubes nice and happy! Also, if you have an air fryer, you can cook the tofu in there. Rather than putting oil in a pan, I add maybe a glug or two of oil to my shaker bag with the starch. Then I basically twice-fry it in my air fryer to get it EXTRA crispy. Once at 360°F for like... I dunno, 25 minutes, flipping at some point, and then again at 380°F until it’s extra crispy all around. I prefer this cuz I’m real bad at frying things in a skillet because I find it tedious, exhausting, and not in my wheelhouse. =>.
They all look so good especially the Korean dish! Another great vegan UA-camr to add to the list, thanks Nisha :) My faves are you, Pick Up Limes, Nutrition Refined and Caitlin Shoemaker (her desserts are the best!). Oh and Simnett Nutrition :)

I made the tofu dish and it’s amazing. I had never heard of the Korean Vegan so it’s good you did this video. Would love to see more videos like this in addition to your awesome recipes :)
I recently used my air fryer to fry my tofu when I made Asian sweet 'n sour tofu. It worked GREAT and got the tofu nice and crispy before adding the sauce. Thanks for introducing us to other vegan bloggers/vloggers. I look forward to trying these new recipes.
Was hoping to see the oil spill in the bloopers. Can we get an update in your next video to know whether the stain came out? I'm concerned because that is the most flattering top I have ever seen. Buying sweet potato soul's book from this video. Safe travels and CA is lucky to have you. Xo

I'm not a fan of processed food (esp cheese, unless cultured like Cultured Kindness or Miyoko's) so I appreciate your leaning toward creating from whole foods! TY!

Two for two! I made your lentil curry and it was my best curry ever and I tried the tofu recipe in this video (I know it was not your recipe but your videos are so clear that I easily followed along) and it was awesome! As a hit-or-miss cook, 2 attempts and 2 successes is huge. I love your channel, Nisha! Glad I subscribed and I will keep watching😁. (You give me a belly laugh in almost every video, which I also appreciate!)
I haven’t gotten the cookbook but I love your videos and recipes. I have been sharing vegan and gluten free recipes for several months now and love ❤️ this diet.
I have your vegan cookbook with me i love your cookbook i missed your video last sat saw your stories on insta drooling over my samsung galaxy note 8 love your recipes making me hungry Thanks Ramya
For a Cali housewarming gift for yourself you should get the Complete Collection of the B&B spices, then do a video series on how you incorporate some of the more unusual spices into your dishes. This is a series I would loveeee then I would have a good excuse to buy a $255 set of 32 spices lol.
I love your video, you are very ... I can't even find words to describe how much I like your character. Probably because english isn't my first language. Ich finde dich sehr sympathisch und liebenswert. Du schaffst es, authentisch und echt aufzutreten. Und ich bekomme schon Hunger wenn ich mir nur dein Video ansehe, das Essen sieht fantastisch aus!

You girl are amazing, I am making the pancakes right now...can't wait to taste them 😋
Aww you're very kind! I hope you loved the pancakes. They're a new favorite in our house!
@@RainbowPlantLife we did indeed enjoyed them, my 1 year old daughter loved them too
Please make this a series! I've made so many vegan recipes but always wondered why mine tasted so off, maybe I'm not preparing them correctly and need someone to show me how's it done 😊😊😊
Loved this! all 3 recipes look easy, healthy and good---the dancing also---a dancing chef is very necessary :)
I have a Ruhn Rikon stove pressure cooker, I understand the high and low pressures are similar to an Instant Pot. Can I transfer your cookbook recipes to my stove top cooker as I'd like to buy your cookbook....😊
Yaaasss. I'm dying to see what your new content will look like :) the best of lucks in this new phase!
So fun! Love this video format 🥰
You're the best! I love your videos and your sense of humour!

Hi Ramya, i'm so happy you love my cookbook! I just shared a little bit about our move in my Stories today :)
Love this!! Thank u for the book ideas!!
Kkampoong tofu is a keeper. Love your videos!
For a Cali housewarming gift for yourself you should get the Complete Collection of the B&B spices, then do a video series on how you incorporate some of the more unusual spices into your dishes. This is a series I would loveeee then I would have a good excuse to buy a $255 set of 32 spices lol.
Haha I love this idea! Thanks Adrianna!
Always love your dance interludes. 😁
Aww you are so sweet! I appreciate it. I used google translate to understand your message - so nice of you to say! Einen schönen Tag noch!
I love your clumsyness!!
Pancakes look great! What was the line of spices you recommend when using the cinnamon? Thank you
Burlap and Barrel! Thank you!
I LOVE that tofu recipe!!
I've played around with tofu so much this summer in an effort to get a crispier texture! Well worth the trial and error!😂😂
It's the best tofu! SO crispy and flavorful!
Vincent Esposito, Pick Up Limes just published a vlog w/3 crispy tofu recipes & sauces including kebabs. Pretty sure it was published today 8/28/2020 or close to it. Enjoy!
@@marirose756 Yeah I saw that! Those recipes looked delicious too!
Great video idea. I'm trying new dishes all the time, looking for new family favs. Way to support others! Try Pick Up Limes and Avant Guarde Vegan. Good luck with your move!
That all looks delicious. Thanks for sharing 😋
If there's a Target in your area, they have cookbook stands for sale.
You remind me of Inara from Firefly ❤️❤️❤️
Also I’m obsessed with your channel! I’m working on incorporating vegan meals into my diet and hoping to be eating mostly vegan by the beginning of the year ❤️
Lol bless you 😄 awesome video. That tofu looks TOO good. I bet air frying it would be good too
Emily Ewing and Krocks in the Kitchen are both really great and down to earth style channels.
Loved all the recipes but the last one was my favorite!! I will try the tofu recipe..
Nice recipe Nisha, thanks love.♥️
Enjoying the cookbook, just got it today. Keep up the good work
Have you tried my red lentil curry! I'd start there. It's easy and weeknight friendly with not very many ingredients :)
Thanks so much!!! You are hilarious and hope the move went well. Do you have other favorite vegan bloggers you’d recommend?? :)
LOOL you were vibing in this video I love it.
😂 I love to dance!
I'm interested to try the spinach artichoke dip! The recipe I usually use has vegan cream cheese and mayo so definitely not the healthiest 😅😬 but yummy on a pizza!! 😍🍕 lol
ah I love this so much!! Please try pickuplimes, minimalistbaker, the vietvegan and lauren toyota!
Avantgardevegan (Gaz Oakley, UK), Will Yeung, Pick-up limes, Happy Pear.
Thank you for the Burlap & Barrel recommendation! I've been disappointed by the Spice House lately and need a new supplier.
A healthy AND delicious vegan cream cheese?? That dip looks unreal. 😭🥺 I would eat the whole thing myself.
SO adorable! What non-stick skillet do you use?
Everything in this looks so delicious..
