My family moved to Bolingbrook in the winter of 1970 when I was nine years old, and I didn't move away until spring of 2018 at the age of 57. I've always considered it my hometown and I loved every moment I lived there. The people of Bolingbrook are wonderful. It is racially, ethnically, economically and religiously diverse. The Prominade Mall has provided not only a great place to shop, but the number of wonderful restaurants in the area provides a wide range of dining. Both O'Hare and Midway airports are close by as well the Metra stations in nearby Lisle and Naperville. Bolingbrook also has buses that can take you wherever you need to go. Bolingbrook is also in close proximity to interstates like I-55, I-355 & I-294 as well as state highways like Rt. 53 and Rt. 83. It has a wide range of houses from simple and basic to more high-end homes, town homes and apartments. It was a wonderful place to grow up. No matter where I live, Bolingbrook will always be what I consider home.
