Hi I’m waiting to emigrate to the Sunshine Coast, hopefully within the next 12 months, and I have been researching my future setup, and have found it now thanks ,
Just got a Fishpro and needed some tips on gun holders. I also was trying to figure out how to protect the pwc from the anchor chain. Very helpful vid mate. Thank you. Lastly, tell me about your vest that I can add my camel pack please.
Thanks mate :) I use the Jet Pilot Venture Neo, comes stock with the water bladder, but isn't a camel pack brand, I'm about to swap the bladder out for an actual Camel Pack one as the stock one is a bit average.
Great video. Always love when someone walks through their setup. Always looking for ideas. You mentioned the Jetboil. I look it up and it looks interesting. How do you use it while out on the jetski? Where do you set it so that it does not fall with the rocking.
I just sit it on top of the esky to heat the hot water and then pour that into the noodle cup. However, the jetboil balancing on the esky feels top heavy. Need to be in calm conditions while cooking and still feels risky, really don't want boiling water tipping on me while out there! I'm going to make a stand for it to hold the gas bottle and make it more stable. One day :)
Nice set up, Do you ever wish you had more room though to move around ? I spearfish and have a 3.7m Polyethylene Pontoon which is perfect, but I do wonder how good a Seadoo would be for speed, launching down streams to the sea etc.
When I'm solo, it's fine. But taking someone else out for a dive becomes a bit of a dance. Speed to launch is amazing. I've got it down to 45 seconds from getting out of the car to unhook, beach next to the ramp, and drive off again. Same for recovery.
Hey mate great vid. What is that button you installed called! Its been driving me crazy, I have no idea why they dont make a control you can easily install. Cheers!
Hey mate awesome video exactly what I needed. One question: what length and thickness of chain in your experience would be ideal for the Cooper anchor for anchoring in all spearable conditions and overnight stays Cheers
Mine is 8mm chain, about 6m in length. This works for me, but may actually be longer than it needs to be. The coopers anchor has a very small hole in the end, so you need a smal D Shackle for this. Good luck!

I looked a little closer. It looks like you would just hold by the cup

Update - i have the SeaDoo cup holders that fit in the rod holder fittings. A standard small gas bottle fits perfectly in these! Super stable :)
@@jetspearo video or I’d never happened! 😂 Link to vid, please!

may i ask where u bought the line connecting ur jet ski to the mirror for ancoring
The rope and the stretch cord were bought from a chandelry here in Aus, Whitworths
one question, I have the same ski and setup... do you go out by yourself?
Usually, but prefer diving with other when I can :)

Thanks Paul :) it's from Flic. I used the older style as it's easier to waterproof, but could be done with new one too; flic.io/
@@jetspearo Cheers mate. So looks like it can work stand alone and through your phone without the hub?
@@paulscott6854 correct, the button connects to your phone via bluetooth. You set it up in an app to do whatever you want your phone to control.

Where do you get the straps for the gun maye?
In Australia, they are at Bunnings. They're called "Versa straps" and are in the section with ratchet straps, tie down straps etc.
I want to buy a jet ski but I don't have enough money....hehehe
If you have excess money, buy 1 for me
