I'm really rooting for this line and they seem to be making the right moves to make it something great. Scaling them up a hair is wonderful, same goes for the hip articulation. A less brittle plastic for the peg/joints and improving the torso and neck articulation would make me feel comfortable comparing the line to Toybiz of yor. Unique sculpted pieces, near 30 poa, and a plethora of accessories, they're definitely in the right direction. Hope DC is listen, we're cheering for them.

This John Stewart figure is based off of a storyline called "Mosaic". If any DC story needs to be collected into a tpb, it's this one. It's a great story.
On one hand, I think that the effects we're getting on 6 inch figures look pretty cool. On the other hand, I want 3 3/4 inch versions of those effects since that's my main scale.

just watch any review you can see the figures are getting a little bit bigger as time goes on. Especially with this new batch John Stewart, Firestorm and The Joker are all a bit bigger.

2682shark I prefer the the Icons articulation and unique sculpts plus the amount of the accessories they have are great. Except the DCUC figures have thigh swivels plus they're a nice size but the icons are get upscaled a little. But so far I like them for the most part.
The icons don't break. It only does if you aren't careful with it like Shartimus wasn't paying attention when putting the hand peg in so that's why it broke. Plus the icons they have been updating the plastic alot since it feels durable just because afew figures from DC collectibles had issues doesn't mean all do since it goes with every toy line. NECA haves QC issues at times so do Hasbo even Mattle even japanese import companies like Figma and Mafex
yeah originally I was over the line. I got the Blue Beetle his hand broke because the plastic is brittle but now I see all the improvements they're doing and I can't help myself but support it.
JigglyChocolateman I can't speak on those experiences you had with your Icons compared to me on my three Icons I have Batman, Harley and Superman I never had any issues breaking on the plastic I think it's because I'm use to figures like icons since it's very similar to the japanese imports on feel and size. It's just people go in it taking the Icons line to feel like other American 6 inch figures then thinking them as Japanese scaling type 6 inch figures. Since they feel more like japanese imports then your standard 6 inch scale lines and people need to understand that and not compare it to marvel legends.

reason why he has lantern holding hands for the left side is because he uses the lantern to charge his ring.
snip off some of that twisty tie and heat it up again and jam the peg back onto the hand...easy enough fix. This Lantern looks pretty awesome.
That happened to my blue beetle wrist. It's really fragile and find it brittle. But D.C. Is willing to replace them!

Now that this series of figures is gone, I can honestly say that this was probably in the top 3 best figures from that series.

The big cross and circle is just supposed to be a lens flare, I think. It doesn't look like anything that you might use on a drawing board.

The Darkfrost just take a small piece of polythene heat that uo and join them or you can use hot glue drop
