    Hi there Juan!👋 I never want these WIP podcasts to end because I sit and crochet right along with you and want you to keep going!😘 Being alone 24/7, I can't begin to tell you how much company and joy you add to my life! I'm working on one of Crystal's (Bag-O-Day) chevron blanket patterns currently. You are the best company! I never miss a single video you do and love them all so much. And your mom is such a sweetheart! I love Ms. Wilma!! I'm probably older than she (I'm 70), so rather than call her Mama Wilma, I think Ms. Wilma is better for me to call her!😘 I love seeing all her beautiful blankets she makes! Take care and I'll be looking for you tomorrow night!

    Hi Juan, regarding the shed… Instead of using it for storage, think about turning your process around. Why not make that into a He Shed. The idea would be to turn it into a lovely, warm, knitting space with a cozy chair, electric fireplace, And all the things that you need to create your videos and podcasts. Keep the yarn storage in the house where there’s air-conditioning sit yourself into a glorious wonderful warm spot. That’s what I did 😊

    I love “shopping with my eyes” when it comes to UA-camrs yarn walls. 😂
    The dedication you have to your channel and the extended yarnie family amazes me. I hope that doesn’t come off as rude in any way.
    As for a shed, make sure it’s well insulated against moisture.

    Thanks for the redo. I took mine apart and started over. The nice thing about crochet is that you can undo what you want and then start anew. I dropped the chains between the twins and liked it. Then I watched your redo and realized that you found the same problem that I did. We all make booboo's, welcome to being human.

    Yes, get a shed and turn it into an additional studio. If you use it to store yarn , make sure it is wood and also has insulation and electricity and a fan and an air conditioner in a window. Insulate the floor and put down tile and rugs to help with keeping the temperature equal. I have one, it is 16ft wide and 72 ft. Long. It has a loft in it. Therefore more storage.

    Hi Juan,
    The problem with storing yarn in a shed is climate.
    You would need it to be climate-controlled to keep the temperature relatively even and to control the humidity.
    Also, as someone pointed out, there is the vermin issue. Rodents especially will chew into anything and can cause MASSIVE damage in a short period.
    So please carefully consider issues like these before moving your yarn into a shed.
    Have a great day. 🐞

  • @lanniek5360
    @lanniek5360 6 місяців тому

    Yes, you need a He Shed. I also like the Yarn Barn. LOL. Our shed has electric. It is really nice to have. If it is a dark day a light is nice. But, I can see it. A big chair, a side table and lamp, maybe a mini fridge, microwave, TV, AC, and a cot for Mark for when he pisses me off. (His idea not mine) Hehehehe. Love the shawl. very pretty. ok, out of here. luvs and hugs. 🥰

    Get a shed and turn it into your tutorial/video recording squirrel studio and use the room you are in now as storage for the yarn. That way the yarn stays out of the elements and stays in a climate controlled space. 🙂🙂🙂

    If you have a storage shed you can always get the ncl tags to log what's in the bin you use and then just use your phone to scan them to find what you are looking for. I have seen many things like that on UA-cam and thought about using myself. I also wanted to see if you have ever seen this fairly new channel called "Totally Fierce Crochet Channel"? It is a channel by a German man he has nice tutorials and such a cute Frenchie that he puts into all his videos. I've talked to him a bit and he is such a friendly person. His channel started back in December but he only has about 350 subs. Thanks for what you do. I always sit and do some sort of fiber craft while listening to your talk. Have a good one!
