The title really says it all. We could probably say the same thing about the LS. You can build high quality, but someone has to want what you build. The world wants SUVs, a sedan drives better, is more fuel efficient, can be beautiful.......but very few want them. I mean, I saw a guy driving a Smart car the other day proud as a peacock, so to each their own. Maybe the sedan will make a comeback. A year ago, we were going EV, no doubt, now maybe not so quick. I still find it odd with the excellent hybrids available that they were not pushed as part of the transition. If you figure it out, I'll be glad to hear what you come up with.

There are several factors that make it difficult to position a car like the Genesis in the market, starting with overcoming the image of the "Hyundai driver loser". But the almost cliche fetish of the European car is still an obstacle even for Lexus and even affects a mega traditional brand like Cadillac. It seems to me that the only way forward - which even guaranteed a place in the sun for Lexus - is to offer a very reliable car, with lasting quality. A low-maintenance car, which still had full product warranty coverage for a long time, guaranteeing second-hand business, and an aggressive value policy when exchanging cars in the same brand at dealerships would be a good start.
If only people had a mindset like you and me brother, the Euro car sales would be down 50%.
