Best car for a $100K you can buy. Love mine
I bought my first 2018 g80 and I love it. I'm thinking about getting this model sometime in the future. I love this car!
That car is a gorgeous car , I would take that over a BMW or MB it looks so classy and luxurious.
Looks like fake it til you make it like s3000. Fugly
Genesis needs to bring you out to their press events. Nice work, as always!
I'm not joking when I say this, these manufactures will dissolve their companies and rather go bankrupt before they bring me into their circle. I've met some of these people in person and I'll just say this, they some certified weirdos.
This car is really growing on me. Owning a previous Gen LS in the L configuration, it seems like the G90 has picked up the baton that Lexus walked away from.
Facts, the LS 500 is great but it went down the "sporty" luxury barge route which is cool and I appreciate that. But this is the true Limo that maintains the cloud ride and carries the baton of the LS L as you mentioned
Great observation. It’s growing on me also. I still have the LS and usually wouldn’t dare even look outside of Lexus but this car “pops” and it sounds as if the ride is smooth as butter
@@MeynMotorGroup Yeah I really hope that they come back to their luxury roots. I feel like they can do so once they switch to solid state evs.
Love my used 2017 G90 ultimate V8 AWD.
I have one too car is beautiful and reliable
I love my 2020 G90.. I wish I had the interior upgrade.
I am hoping to buy this same car.
Good luck trying to find a G90 with your specific requested color exterior /interior.
End of March test drive.loved the car.
Was told Genesis is not taking ANY orders for them. Each Genesis dealer gets ONE G90 /dealer/year. No special orders taken.
Those shots of the white on white G90 driving through Miami are just SCRUMPTIOUS! I'd definitely buy one in that spec
Definitely would buy this
I went shopping for a luxury automobile here in San Jose, Hyundai dealership did not have any G 90s, and wouldn’t have any for at least 90 days …went across the street and bought an LS 500 and I have to tell you I’m gonna keep the car for a while and I’m glad I did ….when Hyundai passes the test of longevity, Maybe I’ll come back , and not having one on the lot at least for test drives? that’s ridiculous.
And one other point, I don’t need doors that close for me. I don’t need tweeters that rise out of a dashboard from a model with little history, These are just things that can go wrong and as I said they’re not must haves….
Yo bro Happy Friday and Happy weekend to you my bro 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾🫡
Happy Friday / weekend to you as well brother hope you and your family are doing great!
@@MeynMotorGroup Thanx bro for you and your family as well 🙏🏾🙏🏾😎👍🏾👍🏾🤝
Imagine if genesis had an Escalade or navigator competitor
It will have the 2025 GV90.
Supposedly that’s only electric tho..
We’re coming just let come.
Hyundai & Genesis separated in 2015. The 2023 Genesis G90 is an incredible automobile. #bestbelievethehype

Great Review. Some of us are Different don't follow everyone else. We like to be different & not fit in. I would buy this Over Euro cars . I would Own this & Cadillac . Sedan. Iam not into SUVS and Crossovers .Tired of them. These Wheels are Beautiful. Tired of Black Wheels. Some one at Genesis should be paying thst person very well for The wheel design. I follow Genesis on Social Media been asking when will they Build a Super Sports car. They continue to improve. They need more Stand Alone Showrooms & Better Experience in some parts of America
In US these are not selling due to bad brand image. No one wants to go to a Hyundaindealer after spending $100k .. but in Asia and ME .. these are doing well. Hotels and resorts have these and the MPV from Toyota and Hyundai.
I've got one. It's fantastic. My third South Korean car in a row after the Hyundai Genesis Rspec and the KIA Stinger.
They problem with the G90 is not the car. The problem is that its priced like the S class and the BMW 7 series. If a buy is already in that price range, why not just go for the established brands in the class. Like the S Class. 🤷🏿♂️
I love the Genesis. More for me if they don't want it
The title really says it all. We could probably say the same thing about the LS. You can build high quality, but someone has to want what you build. The world wants SUVs, a sedan drives better, is more fuel efficient, can be beautiful.......but very few want them. I mean, I saw a guy driving a Smart car the other day proud as a peacock, so to each their own. Maybe the sedan will make a comeback. A year ago, we were going EV, no doubt, now maybe not so quick. I still find it odd with the excellent hybrids available that they were not pushed as part of the transition. If you figure it out, I'll be glad to hear what you come up with.
😅😂 proud as a peacock yea I can see that with the smart car guy.
But yes you're absolutely right, a GV90 3-row would be a slam dunk for the brand but this, sadly only a few like you and I can appreciate it.
People are still buying S classes by the thousands of units a year in the United States
I hope they enjoy them thoroughly.
Personally i don't like the light designs but this would sell like crazy in Russia rught now
The demand for suvs are much higher Genesis should have a GLS or X7 competitor
This is true they really need a GV90
Add a twin turbo v8 or supercharged v8 with a well mixed tone and roar … with lighter composites like carbon fiber … making the car a beast but with luxury
Give it two models a full petrol v8 and a hybrid performance with ev assistance ( more hp ,tq ) option
And I and many German customers will gladly make that switch
I think it is a beautiful car. Really gets a lot of attention on the streets. The depreciation is probably about the same for other luxury brands in this segment.
UMMM...I want it... I grew up when the vibration of the engine meant the engine was coming out of the car. I'll get this car some day.
Love the car just can’t afford one 😢
You and throttle house have the best commentary I've ever heard for a car reviews!
All praises to the Most High God for using us as a vessel to deliver this information to you my friend, and thank you so much for stopping by as well!
There are several factors that make it difficult to position a car like the Genesis in the market, starting with overcoming the image of the "Hyundai driver loser".
But the almost cliche fetish of the European car is still an obstacle even for Lexus and even affects a mega traditional brand like Cadillac.
It seems to me that the only way forward - which even guaranteed a place in the sun for Lexus - is to offer a very reliable car, with lasting quality.
A low-maintenance car, which still had full product warranty coverage for a long time, guaranteeing second-hand business, and an aggressive value policy when exchanging cars in the same brand at dealerships would be a good start.
LIKE IT BUT NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN AUSTRALIA - WRONG MOVE INDEED
Japan, Germany, South Korea, Sweden .. small, hard-working nations seem to produce the best cars.
Beautiful styling… but, the underpinnings are suspect.. until they improve long term quality many will dismiss them….
These cars get 300,000+ on them. Americans just used to the German name. Not the overall reliability or style. It’s the old school gangster movies that made the Benz and bmw so great. Because in their country and other places they’re used as cabs
People forgot to Genesis will be by Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, BMW and Bentley engineers
Has ANC.
maybe rich people have a problem to buy a luxury car at the Hyundai dealer ? Thanks Kevin 😀
They have some standalone dealers but the way Genesis initially advertised themselves is they would come to your house to close the paperwork of the car and they would drop off a loaner car at your house so you absolutely never had to step foot in a dealership.
@@MeynMotorGrouptry scheduling that and see how it goes for you.
@@DBone539 yea I know it’s been a failure but I guess the cars so fire people buy them anyways
@@MeynMotorGroup ppl that buy cars like this just want service.
@@DBone539 service is an afterthought for just about anyone buying a new product
If only people had a mindset like you and me brother, the Euro car sales would be down 50%.
As you may know I’ve been driving multiple EVs for myself, still the eG 70 is the top dog for me, and I also drove an Audi q4, believe me as soon as I entered that car it gave me the vibes from an Econobox with all the hard touch plastics everywhere, literally. On the other hand the Ioniq6 has a more sophisticated suspension and handling and I know that’s an SUV but the Ioniq actually feels like it’s worth the money.
Yea but nowadays this Temu generation of consumers don't care about Quality
You put them in a high quality product like an EV GV70 they feel out weird and out of place like they don't belong.
No these people just want that badge, to the point where I'm going to chill with the driving reviews and just help people get the best deal possible on whatever car it is that they want to buy.
@@MeynMotorGroup Keeping it real brother.
Temu generatio tho 😂😂 that was a good one
So you traded in your G70 & got the GV70? Congrats my friend that SUV was genuinely on the same level as the G90 very impressive
@@MeynMotorGroup Well we still haven’t been to the dealer to talk final numbers, but they’re offering me 875 a month with 2K down on the prestige
Gotcha yea it is a nice vehicle up to you
Such a shame we can't get it here.
Honestly, we might stop getting it here in the states. They 250 of these for sale nationwide they’ll have to come out with a GV90 3-row to be successful
@@MeynMotorGroup Yeah and that's a real shame isn't it.
Yea luxury sedans aside from a few 40-60k cars and the Sclass is dwindling fast people just want SUVs. I just wish these sedans would be super cheap to lease
@@MeynMotorGroup 💯
When the gv90 come out it’s over for everyone. That’s why America is holding back the truck. Their brand will skyrocket by 20% when it hits the market.
I have a G90, and although it’s great the dealership customer service falls so short of expectation it seems like parody. Genesis is bolted on inside a Hyundai dealer and you will feel like you have a Hyundai. From not answering the phone, phone calls not returned, online scheduling not working, weeks out for regular maintenance, not resetting service indicator(s), improperly inflating the tires, and taking 3-4 hours to change oil with an appointment. Nobody wants it nor will they if they if can’t get it together. All the competition (at least that I’ve tried) has it dialed in better.
Yea that's why I always tell people who are serious about buying these products, it is imperative that you research all of your local dealers and check reviews.
I'm lucky in my area where we have great Genesis dealerships nearby but that's not the case for a lot of other regions.
People don’t understand how huge the dealership experience is when you pay so much for a vehicle. Part of the reason I am so hesitant to leave Lexus is because my dealer experience is so great. To the point I actually get excited for scheduled maintenance because the experience is so superb.
@@dougjones2160 agreed, I had a similar experience with Acura and Lexus so now I’m kinda like damn this sucks lol
@@dougjones2160wow that’s good to know
They have a genesis dealership in cherry Hill NJ and they treated me great
Unfortunately no matter how good kia/hyundai are they dont have the image , prestige as the well known brands .same with acura, infiniti, and some lexus.
Exactly
Not true. You’ll see as time pass . I work with ppl that are 6 figures earners. They’ll looking into these cars.
@@mrmaze24636 figure earners cannot afford RR or Maybach
This car is popular the world over. It's irrelevant if the US buyer purchases it or not as the used car market is what Americans can afford 😢. Leave new car purchases to the big boys such as China or South Korea, etc.
Trunk space is small
This is true
I love the pocket the 2024 Genesis G90 is in right now. It reminds of that low key attractive woman that is overlooked cause there's a healthy balance of confidence and humbleness to her attraction. 🤩☯️
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Lol! I want it. If not enough people buy it, it's not because of lack of desirability, it's just that the price is way too elevated. This one top out at $100K when fully equipped. I don't care how much cheaper it is compared to the 7 series or S class, $100K is way too much for any car, especially for one that (fully equipped) had an MSPR of $74K in its prior iteration.
Flagship luxury cars are not made for people who think $100k is too much money for a car.
It's made for people who have the means, or are savvy enough to figure out things like leasing, incentives, discounts, etc.
Nobody bought it for $74k either. They're better off milking the few people that do want to buy into this brand and charge $100k.
For the person that has the means, $74k, $100k, $120k, those are all the same numbers for these people.
The average income of a new Porsche buyer is $500k-$1 Million per year.
For those that don't have the wherewithal to play in this segment (which is 99% of the population) they make a new 5 speed manual Versa for $17k but people act like that doesn't exist.
@@MeynMotorGroup That is a logical answer if we go by the textbook, but we've got to be realistic. Most people buying Genesis are looking for value, just like they do with Infiniti and Lexus. The LS500, perhaps its closest competitor, only sells because it gets substantially discounted. While I do admire Genesis's intention, they're doing very little to discount these. So either they're willing to wait as long as possible for someone to purchase close to MSRP or they're trying to solely make a statement on having a high MSRP car in their lineup, regardless of whether it sells or not. And most people in this segment are fixated on the 7 series and S class, the enthusiasts with deeper pockets will go for the Bentley and those looking for an anomaly will typically go for an Aston.
COME ON S 550 THE BEST AND CHEAP
Have you driven any of these vehicles?
@@MeynMotorGroup yes
Of course No body wants to buy this....at a Hyundai dealership
My local hyundai dealer is a house of crooks. Would never set foot there to buy this car.
Good one, lol
I really wish you people would remember Genesis as a car company It's only 8 years old How many dealerships did Mercedes BMW lexusis Have When they were 8 years old
@flar5022 that not the problem…. They selling high end luxury vehicle at non luxury dealers ship. The service and experience doesn’t correlate. Why you don’t see a Lexus at Toyota dealership ? Trust me I get.
@@rachaad excellent thoughtful comment.
I love this car 🔥🤌🏽 i wish the LWB model came to the US with those epic wheels
SWB won't even sell they only have 250 G90s for sale nationwide in the U.S. so they never bringing that LWB here but you're right, that car was epic
No body wants is hyundai kia ,same cars in 5 year price 5k to 1ok genessy is not mercedez, BMW, audy, bentley, etc is hyundai korean car
because its a second class car for 100k
Nobody wants?? 🤔
Is good car is over price 90k no way
Who wants to spend a $100k on a Kia 😂..Some bragging rights
As stated clearly in the vid nobody is “spending” $100k it’s called leasing and financing and dumping it after the warranty is yp
@@MeynMotorGroup if you financing it’s for the full amount buddy . As clearly stated
@@Niles-Guy there’s something called a trade in my friend where you can sell your car before your lease or finance contract ends. You are able to finance a car for 12 years but sell it the next day if you want to. Nobody is forcing you to keep the car til loan maturity. I hope this makes sense. May God Bless you.
Only in America they’re not selling. Americans wants to be fake gangsters and look rich with no money. I work with 6 figure earners they drive Toyota Honda some Audi. I have a g80 and all looking to get one. Don’t always believe the hype. Benz and bmw isn’t selling as much as you ppl think to ppl with money. Poor ppl buying them getting repoed
Eh. These cars are fugly and over priced
