So, the 2024 factory edition has the 2022 frame.😄 I have 2, 2022 Austrian bikes. After riding friends 23 yzf250, whose suspension is setup for person 30lbs heavier than me. Night and day difference between the suspension, kyb is much better.
I’m a heavier guy as well. I weigh 220 and love my 22 1/2. Albeit I have WP Xact Pro shocks/forks and bibbed tires. She rides a little rough. But I like being able to feel the bike.
Good info on the 14-52 gearing. I was hoping you would mention something about that. The amount of chain slack required on my 23 factory edition is ridiculous. Thing is slapping all over the place lol

It's crazy that you were rained out at Glenn Helen and then sunny skies and some dust on your track that is only 30 minutes away? Talk about micro climates. The bike looks nice. My brother bought a brand new 2023 and he loves it. Thanks for the video. PS: He is having a little bit of a hard time transitioning from a bike that has traditional spring forks to the air setup. If I'm not mistaken, don't the factory teams use springs in both forks?
I’m a clydesdale of a man, 6’2 218lbs. I love the rigidity of my 24. Only complaint I had was the suspension was a bit soft and handle bars were about as flat as a xc mountain bike.
I’m happy to see people like the new unit. There will be a bit more stuff coming i’d simply guess. The Unit as in non of the two parts is from LitPro of the CUO just to let one know.
Consumer: 2022 - Frame is too flexy even though I don’t know what that means 2023 - Frame is too stiff because social media told me it was 2024 - I’m switching the Suzuki! Aluminum is compliant. Just look at Kenny
Consumer: 2024 - KTM needs to go back to the 2022 chassis! The chain gets tight on the 2024! 2024 - The rest of us who’ve owned KTMs for 20+ years sitting back with our popcorn reading social media be like, “That isn’t new. Read your owners manual.”
Please explain how the mapping works with the CUO. Can you change both green and white maps ? If you alter traction control i suppose it only makes a difference when you switch on TC on the handlebars ? An in depth video would be nice to show all the workings of the CUO and what it does in detail. Especially the engine program side.
Actually not? Most of the app is in-house as far as publicly known. LitPro already has experience in showing tracks etc. and already having a lot of the infra it just made sense to collaborate..
I like the colorway of the factory edition. They need to get rid of the purple on the standard edition, though, purple and orange do not go together--at all!
You did an excellent job with this video. You hit all the questions. Especially the fact that we can backdate to 23 or 24 for the litpro. Can we install it on a 2 stroke?
I can remember when I was racing Mini A my dad saying $2500 was a lot of coin for my 07 KX85(and that was discounted as I rode for that shop). I think they were closer to $3k. Now I don't blink when I have to get a $10-12k bike each season. When will 450 prices peak before electric bikes replace them...$15-20k? Anyway solid vid Josh as usual.
When you upload your new maps, can you change both White/Blue map buttons? Or is like the old unity, which only allowed one to change the first map not the second map button.
Man you know what would be good you guys do a series of videos teaching us how to edit GoPro videos using the quick app and using a PC, I mean you guys do it daily, I do have a hard time to edit my videos and all the info out there gets confusing and complicated, great video 🤘🏻

When the 2024.38904523 comes out, it will most likely have the 2016 swingarm and linkage. 2015 plastics and a steel gas tank to better compliment the steel frame. Rumors of a 3d printed sub frame made from reclaimed plastic water bottles are out there as well 🤪
It would have cost KTM a lot less, if they had listen to me or read about the need for the frame to be how it used to be and not to keep stiffining it where even pros complain
Because people bitched they were too flexy before that 🤦♂️ That’s what happens when the listen to the peanut gallery. Normally it would help for Supercross too. No doubt they tested works versions of it in Europe and it worked great, but production it came out stiff. Perfect for most weekend warriors buying 5 year old bikes. They wont have flexed stressed out and cracked frames that the cheap ass Japanese bikes are known for.
Probably on the XC. The PDS models XC-W and EXC are usually a year later with the big updates. Never know though. Mfg might be more streamlined after the Coe-Vid debacle.
Pivot location on the frame is not in line with the countershaft-too high!! Remove the shock-and move the swingarm thru its arc-the chain gets so tight by full compression there is no chain play.
I honestly think that when the Austrians bite the bullet and manufacture a aluminium frame and use conventional oil forks they will start winning or even dominating.
I doo like how my ktms compare to my Honda but my Honda is a 2006 and my ktm is 2023 so that may be why. Honda is easier to ride but doesn’t turn as good. Ktm feels more manurverable but maybe a bit less stable sometimes beginner rider tho so I am not an expert on this stuff
Interesting to hear folks still think aluminium frame would be better. The main reason Japs went to alu is because it's cheaper and easier to produce. Also aer isn't necessarily worse, they've improved a lot I hear

so does the chain still bind with the swingarm arc?
So do you believe that the new linkage makes the bike softer and helps with overall rear traction
