I've really enjoyed proverbs 7-9 and 1 Corrinthians lately in my struggles. Stay in the word daily and remain prayerful. Remember we are fighting from a position of victory already because Christ fights our battles with us. Don't try to do it in your own strength, use Christ. Also Mathew 5 speaks of the pure of heart going to heaven. To be pure of heart is to actively seek to purify, sanctify... Maybe get rid of certain social media that causes you to stumble. I recently had to decide Twitter was not for me even though I love looking at news from other believers. I can't do it. Haven't had Instagram for a couple years now. Definetly helped.. Stay strong keep fighting, your not in this alone. Maybe there is a mens group near you or maybe its a city or two over.. I found one this year, it's been great.

I have had a serious p*rn addiction in my past. It’s gotten extremely better as I have asked for help and repentance and forgiveness from Jesus but I still fall short because I am not perfect or worthy to even be called a good man. I still feel shameful for the feelings of lust and thoughts I get. But the times that it does happen to me I notice the thoughts go away in seconds and I feel immediately convicted by the Holy Spirit. It used to not be like that. Lord Jesus thank you for forgiving me for every sin. Please brothers and sisters pray for me. It is a hard battle to fight and it is very hard to admit, especially because I have a good woman who truly loves me. I struggled with P*rn for 17 years, it was a hard battle to overcome come. I would watch it everywhere, even in a committed relationship. Once I was baptized and born again Jesus set me free from these wicked behaviors. I still struggle with lustful thoughts so I’m taking the necessary actions now!

If you can't do that, then it's a scary thought that many people such as that live among us. A meaningful relationship with a woman is much more filling than a fantasy. And most importantly, following the laws that God has laid out should be your motivation. The laws are for the world to live a happy and prosperous life. They are made for a reason. If you reflect on your life and how it has been going, you can see why these laws that the Lord has laid out exist. Lust is surely a path of destruction.

I perform better for my wife, I perform better at work and I just feel better overall. It's hard to explain but I don't have that empty feeling like I used to.
i used to live in a big city. There i got broken up with my a partner i had for years. I then, instead of turning to God, turned to sin and was sleeping with over 8 girls at the same time. There is nothing to gain there, it all felt so shallow and empty. Eventually after a wake up call, finding god, and a beautiful girl to call my own and i’m hers.

Was doing really well just grinding and focusing on myself. Met an extremely attractive girl who was into me and immediately went full pursuit after her. Fast forward a few months later and here i am after being dumped feeling like i lost all the self improvement progress i made. God tested my willpower and i failed. I’m 23 and started my relationship again with God in December of 2023. I have never felt better in my life until now since I’ve felt Jesus’ presence. I have been battling Lust for awhile and it’s been awhile since I’ve done anything, I still have the thoughts but anything with the flesh I’ve overcame. Lust is a difficult sin, but not impossible to overcome, with Jesus Christ by our side and guiding us, nothing will be difficult. God bless you on this journey.

I've really enjoyed proverbs 7-9 and 1 Corrinthians lately in my struggles. Stay in the word daily and remain prayerful. Remember we are fighting from a position of victory already because Christ fights our battles with us. Don't try to do it in your own strength, use Christ. Also Mathew 5 speaks of the pure of heart going to heaven. To be pure of heart is to actively seek to purify, sanctify... Maybe get rid of certain social media that causes you to stumble. I recently had to decide Twitter was not for me even though I love looking at news from other believers. I can't do it. Haven't had Instagram for a couple years now. Definetly helped.. Stay strong keep fighting, your not in this alone. Maybe there is a mens group near you or maybe its a city or two over.. I found one this year, it's been great.

I have had a serious p*rn addiction in my past. It’s gotten extremely better as I have asked for help and repentance and forgiveness from Jesus but I still fall short because I am not perfect or worthy to even be called a good man. I still feel shameful for the feelings of lust and thoughts I get. But the times that it does happen to me I notice the thoughts go away in seconds and I feel immediately convicted by the Holy Spirit. It used to not be like that. Lord Jesus thank you for forgiving me for every sin. Please brothers and sisters pray for me. It is a hard battle to fight and it is very hard to admit, especially because I have a good woman who truly loves me. As hard as it is, all battles are victorious through my lord and savior Jesus Christ!!! I know I can ONLY overcome this battle through him, and I WILL overcome this battle BECAUSE of HIM! Take time to talk to yourself how emotions are being triggered when you get thoughts just don't react to it just say to youself why do i need to have lust if I do what's reason. sin leads to destruction, i know it very well, i almost was destroyed by sex drugs and alcohol, money gambling and many fast women, i lived a life full of lust, i was a sinner.
I found god and my faith grew stronger everytime i turned away from temptation.
Study the bible and pray for those you love around you, make friends with other christians and keep building your faith.
Life is so much better when you turn away from a life of sin, i know because i learned the hard way.

It doesn’t hurt to try. So I went and I didn’t feel anything at first but I knew deep down inside I was still lost no matter how much false gods I was communicating with so I followed along with the pastor in a speech of giving your life to Christ and I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit just drenching me in love and I felt like everything was lifted off of me and I was crying really hard and that’s when I decided I found God and I found what I was searching for and that’s how I gave my life to Christ

Trust that you will be cleansed. I have been released from these fetters only recently (a few months) after being bound for over 40 years. I see through a different heart that yearns for The Lord to call me worthy and made pure. Pray.

I found the King of Kings, may the Lord Jesus Christ bless us all in this fight against lust. use to sin everyday. then no more for a couple months. then i broke. my mistake was no longer reading the bible everyday, even if at night time. i would only read every now and then never missing scripture at some point in the week but still it was less than i was. i wasnt praying every morning and every night like i use to. writing this out no wonder i lost sheesh. im already back and winning, the flesh was tempting me and i came looking for the demon of lust to specifically call that annoying thing out. an hr later with scripture and searches of fighting lust. no more lust, God wins. boom.

Was doing really well just grinding and focusing on myself. Met an extremely attractive girl who was into me and immediately went full pursuit after her. Fast forward a few months later and here i am after being dumped feeling like i lost all the self improvement progress i made. God tested my willpower and i failed. It took me a while to realize this test but now i am ashamed of how i behaved. Lust is powerful and can control your mind, be careful out there brothers. All praise to the most high.

To everyone who struggles with Lust. I pray that you get to overcome it. I have been in a relationship with God at a young age and lost it during my teens. I’m 23 and started my relationship again with God in December of 2023. I have never felt better in my life until now since I’ve felt Jesus’ presence. I have been battling Lust for awhile and it’s been awhile since I’ve done anything, I still have the thoughts but anything with the flesh I’ve overcame. Lust is a difficult sin, but not impossible to overcome, with Jesus Christ by our side and guiding us, nothing will be difficult.
