🔥🤘Iron Maiden's electrifying performance at the Power Trip concert was nothing short of a visual and auditory feast! Kicking off with the powerful beats of "Caught Somewhere In Time," Bruce Dickinson made an entrance that had fans' jaws dropping to the floor. Evoking images of a sci-fi dystopian world, Dickinson was decked out in a captivating ensemble featuring a tattered gray overcoat, visor sunglasses, black tank top, acid-wash pants, and combat boots. Truly, as if he'd walked right out of a futuristic apocalyptic movie set.🎸
Starting fashionably late (20 minutes to be precise), fans' anticipation was heightened by intros like UFO's "Doctor, Doctor" and the haunting theme from the 1982 cult sci-fi movie, "Blade Runner" composed by the legendary Vangelis. 🎶
The ever-charismatic Dickinson took a moment to address the delay, attributing it to difficulties in accessing the venue. But, he seamlessly tied it back to the evening's post-apocalyptic theme, commenting on the eerily dystopian vibes of our modern age. Facing such realities, he posed a challenge to the audience: would we succumb or would we rise to change our world? With his thought-provoking words: "Oh, life is here for your personal pleasure," he drove home the choice that lies ahead of us all. 🌍
Amidst the concert's thrilling performances, fans were treated to a nostalgic surprise as the stage visuals flashed the iconic flux capacitor from "Back to the Future". Prompting a lively interaction with the crowd, Dickinson cheekily inquired about time-travelers and Delorean owners. What followed was a whimsical exchange with a fan that set the tone for the next epic number, "The Time Machine". 🕰️

We shall never hear or see their like again. Enjoy while we still can.
True!
You nailed it. Up the Irons.
I don’t see how metal in 15-20 years will be as massive as these bands all are. Who’s gonna take the thrones of Maiden, Metallica, AC/DC, etc?
@@TheChadrodgers100
No one. It’s a dying genre.
@@keefriff99 people, love metal though, so there’s an opportunity for someone to come along
Adrian Smith is absolutely killing it on this tour, Amazing display !!
I agree
BEST Maiden.
Have you heard his stuff with Ritchie Kotzen? Pretty damn awesome, didnt realize Adrian had those pipes!
Lots of Adrian’s songs to show off his playing. But Davey’s playing too is phenomenal. The solo on The Prisoner is ripped as well as Alexander
Maiden is on another level, what a band for god sake. Dickinson and his voice, just no words…
He is a metal God
Agree . Iron Maiden is always been on another lvl. Bruce is perfect the band is perfect. Look at top 40 last 15years pr maybe longer. All trash. Temporary fame 2 hit wonders that lack any talent . And now the mumble rap. It all has 0 feelings in it
Para mí el mejor es en chile 2009 ! 💯🔥
Just imagine how Bruce sounded at the show...
It's so awesome to finally see Alexander the Great being played live! One of my all time favorites! UP THE IRONS!!
And Iron Maiden, 1st time I see it
Same here
yeah, same here too. Somewhere in Time is my fave, sweet memories of my youth. Always great to hear songs being played from that LP (I do have it in vinyl).
One of the greatest bands of all time. Bruce gives me chills
They are eternal
The best band
Are they multiplying😂
Not one of the greatest....The Greatest!!!!!
I'm blown away. The same Maiden that had already been doing it for forever by time I became a fan in 87 or so is still killing it. I was in 6th grade or something and I'm 50 now. The Rolling Stones of metal!
Pros!!
I went with my Dad to see the Stones in Chicago back in 2001 or 2002, can’t remember the exact date. But I just bought tickets to see Maiden in Chicago with my son. Bands with this stage presence are becoming extinct, see them while you can.
Try 61..n Bruce n the boys STILL KILLIN IT!!!!!!!!!
They constantly amaze me. I’m 63 and my back is jacked up, my joints ache, and have the stamina of a corpse. Here they are in their late 60’s rockin the hell out of it and jumping around on stage like teenagers. Bartender! I’ll have what they’re having
I need to know as well🤣
I’m 45 and I know what you mean. With the money they have, they can afford nutritionists and top of the line physio to keep fit.
For one thing, as strange as this sounds, I believe Brits and Europeans are now healthier as a whole than Americans. Been to Europe three times and although the last time was 2008 I blown away at how there were essentially no fat people!! Even the old folks were thin and walking everywhere without any problem. Maybe things of changed now….
cocaine
@@JeffreeebowskiI seen fat Europeans. They can afford the best nutritionists and the best physical training to keep performing on stage. I'm sick of the stereotype that us Americans are all fat retards. I seen fat AF Europeans at the same rate as Americans, but I seen way more Brits with jacked up teeth.
I can't believe how strong Bruce's voice sounds 🤟
Yeah, because actually it is... just yelling now. Quite boring.
@@michelemarcolin2548 that's not true. he always sang that way. powerful vocals with a lot of space that favour voice projection.
@@michelemarcolin2548 Well said
First concert I ever went to in 1982 and saw them this year. Better now 41 years later. England's finest and they've had some serious competition.
None better🤘
The best and most flawless act from Power Trip.
Hell On Earth is already one of their classics to me🔥
What a Sound!!!! What a energy!!! What a Band!! Supreme!! UpTheIrons!!!
The smile on Dave Murray’s face is everything! You could see they were all in and enjoying it. Like Edward Van Halen’s smile during performances. I’ve never seen Iron Maiden nor followed them before seeing them live last night and I walked away a fan. The guitar playing was beyond impressive. Thanks for filming this. I paid an arm and a leg for grandstand seating and I am still floored over how far back and to the side it was. I can’t believe I can hardly see the bands on the stage. Never did I believe it would be that spread out. I’ve seen way gnarlier shows up close and for far less moolah. I am justifying the purchase by Sunday’s lineup and being local and not having to spend money on travel, hotel or eating out.
Me too I just drive home each night
Well my friend ,you witnesses some vintage heavy metal. Maiden will never fade away. Those dudes still kick ass every night. Angus Young is a guitar legend. They both jammed a serious set list.
That was the most insane show I have ever seen last night. I got my tribal spiritual transcendence yet again from my Tool, then got the grand wizards of metal to just blow my brains out. So polished, so prime. James didn’t look fazed in the slightest. Level 10. Top floor. Savage mother effers. Beyond grateful for that experience.
Dave's a good bloke
Bruce voice is eternal
Metal God
His voice still sounds very good very little signs of wear & tear pitty the same can't be said for Brian johnsons
@@fireball8767yes
@@fireball8767but Brian is like 75 and doing those fry vocals for 40 years will really take a toll on you
Adrian Smith owns this show, both in playing and song-writing contribution content. Just an amazing guy.
He was fantastic, Davey as well, sounds as great as ever. Amazed by the vocals too. I'm more an AC/DC guy, but I bought Somewhere In Time when it came out and it's incredible how well they play those songs in 2023!
Bruce's voice is back to 100%! Nicko seems to be struggling at times and his patterns seem simplified. I hope he'll recover perfectly soon!
His voice does sound very good very little signs of wear & tear on it at all
Nicko is 71 now. There's no coming back from that.
57:36 you can see Bruce look back at him. He needs to shape up or be replaced.
@captainjay-gf6ws after most musicians go past 70 they well past there best after that
@@fireball8767 This is true. Perhaps it's time to hang it up at that point? For a band of such legendary status and for what they charge the common man for tickets, it would be the responsible thing to do. Has nobody seen the ultimate example in KISS?
Unfucking-believable. Bruce can still belt. Throat cancer survivor and all. The guy is in top shape at his 60’s and can still sing like the records he preformed at half his age. Such an idol, such admiration 🤩
He is a fucking allien! Long live Maiden!
I think despite being in the pit you did a fantastic job filming this video. Thank you so much for sharing this to the rest of us who didn't get to see them live.
Thank you very much!
no one was even moving their body man, that was a theatre.
Dave & Adrian .. GOD of Guitar
100% professionals! 🤘🎸🔥
I've been to tons of concerts but an Iron Maiden concert is by far the absolute best. Took my 15 yr old to the Legacy of The Beast tour in 2022. We had the time of our lives! UP THE IRONS 🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🎸🔥
Nice!!
Happy to hear this
The audiences at Iron Maiden concerts never seem to age! My 18 year old son loves them too and has seen them 3 times already.
I have seen them 13 times live since 1992 when I was 20 y.o. The last two gigs I was with my sons and they love it too. Maiden is beyond generational.
The best since the 2000's was the Somewhere Back in Time!
Bruce is a god. I never thought he would fix hell on earth live at his age but he did great. They are immortals
This is Killer!!! Thanks for posting for the folks who couldn't go!!! Up The Irons 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Oh my: Bruce’s voice is even better than at 3th of June in Tampere/Finland! The world tour behind them! Like time is really on his side. They are all amazing and I love Iron Maiden-the band has never given up a one bit, always 100% Thanks for sharing this. Up the Irons🤘🏽❤️🔥
Iron Maiden sets the bar. Still sounding excellent.
Thank you. This is amazing. It feels like 1983 not 2023. I can’t believe how great this band still is!!
❤️🔥
Whole band plays fantastically still, and Bruce, wow. His voice is amazing. So impressed with how good they sound!
Really? McBrain sounded horrible. His time was off and he was missing cymbals and drums. WTF.
I'm sure you play better@@captainjay-gf6ws
@@thomasherring6640 I know you're not sure but I am and, yes, I do.
@@captainjay-gf6ws So, what band are you in, where can we see this performance live?
@@thomasherring6640 You think that matters? Just goes to show that you have zero argument. So, one has to be in a band in order to be a great drummer? Interesting. What's more is that you think I'm required to prove myself to some Internet dork. I'm not in a band but I was giving professional lessons when I was 14 and made a career out of it. I was better than he ever was before I left my teens. It's natural talent.

The Greatest Heavy Metal band of all time! Thanks for the upload mate, cheers!
Iron Maiden is amazing! All of the guys! Very glad to see Nicko is ok!
Whenever I hear that magnificent voice of Sir Bruce Dickinson, I am 15 in 88' all over again, working out in my cousin's basement with him and jamming to all the Maiden albums they had then. Brings tears to my eyes how time flies and people leave your life but the music still remains. Thanks for sharing.
I just saw them twice last week. Edmonton and Vancouver. Had the honor of meeting Dave Murray and Janick Gers in the same hotel on the same floor. It was epic moments. My 14th and 15th Maiden concert. Up The Irons!
Sorry... but there is no other human in this planet who can sing like Bruce. The man has 65 yrs old... Cmon !!! This guy really rocks !!!

...and this gives me a whole new admiration (and appreciation) of how insane of a player Janick is.
Who else can do yoga stretches while playing caught somewhere in time? Noone. Only Janick
exactly@@user-tf6vq9tz6b
He s ruinfthe show, should been sacked when Bruce and Adrian rejoin, he s almost not play, just Dance and strectching, embarrasing, Know i lot of die hard maiden fans think the same. Maiden was good from 80-88 rest is not that Great , just recycling riffs, turned into a prog rock band. Boring if You see one show on a tour, no need to see more never changed the set list, a Great band should be alle to change songs. Autopilotband
@@metalpriest1Diehard Iron Maiden fans love all of Maiden's stuff. Janick wrote Stratego, one of the coolest songs on the new album, so don't give me this bs. He helps hype up the stage, and does a bloody good job of it. If you don't like him, Bruce, Steve, Nicko, Dave and Adrian do. Swivel on it.

I read somewhere that Somewhere in Time was considered to be Maidens' "throw-away album" and "an album of insignifigance". Bullshit. They always were and will always be BadAss, but Time was a huge step for them musically, I think. To come out and probably shock everyone with back to back songs from Time is just Pure Maiden. Love it.
I love Somewhere in Time, Wasted Years is one of my favorites of all.
Wasted Years still gives me chills, man. Hell yeah!
Somewhere in Time is near universally acclaimed as their best album and is perhaps the only one that consistently makes any fan’s top 3 if asked. Where did you read that? Strange
I believe it was Loudwire a couple years back... I was amazed. It really felt weird to hear that.
It’s their best record lol
Thank you for sharing this. I’m a huge fan of Iron Maiden. My first time seeing them live was at The Dance of Death Tour and since then I’ve hadn’t missed any of their tours until this one. The set list is incredible. Thanks once again for sharing this amazing performance. Up The Irons! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I was in the gym today, singing Fear of the Dark in the shower. Best band ever. Janik is the show man. Adrian is the technician. Dave is the lynch pin.
