This was really nice! I've realized that I love the combination of violins or cellos with the piano. They just make the melody sound even more intense, beautiful and melancholic to my ears. ✨
I won't lie but I had a good cry. I needed it. Daughter died and I never properly let go. This helped. I know it's strange to say that but it did. The road is so dark and I'm always alone. Music helps, it helps more than you could possibly know.

Today is Father's Day and my father has had major surgery recently. This made me think of all of the memories of he and I as I was growing up and how much things have changed in such a short time. I hold onto every moment with him a little tighter now because I don't know how many more moments I will have. I speak more now than I ever did because I want him to know all of the things I want to say to him and how great of a father he has been and still is. This song just makes me relive the times when I was a young girl and he could carry me on his shoulders and run with me, let me paint his nails, etc. He truly is my hero.. Always has been, always will be.
