I love videos where creators are waving around the real subject matter and not me too ing it or using it just to stick it to UA-cam. That's super awesome man, keep it up. I think a solid printed Glock look alike with a barrel size the same as a buffer tube so it could be a pistol brace would be a good laugh.
Your feet get used to it the more you do it. I have seen dudes running marathons bare foot. You have to run/ walk correctly or you break a foot bone fast. Makes your feet and balance at the ankle way stronger.
To those wondering why other walnuts are not interchangeable with black walnuts, it's because of the natural dye in the hull of the black walnut that makes wounds particularly debilitating. Engineers are still investigating the use of heartnuts instead, as their hard/pointy shells may offer some armour penetrating capabilities.
My thoughts exactly. Came here to the comments to see if I was alone in the universe. (Best usage of the term was in the 30 Rock episode where Kenneth tells the story of how his prized pig bit his off.)
It could actually be useful for training. If you have a bunch of walnuts you could throw them out of the launcher and shoot them before they hit the ground.
You're the man! I've always had a need for something like this, for when Crap Hits the Fan! I love you man, Happy April 1st! What's not an April Fool's, is this thank you. You've done nothing short of amazing work for the 3d printing community. We cannot thank you enough. Not only have you done so much good for 3d printing, but you're spreading freedom for the 2A rights community as well. The more and more regulation that comes out, will have no effect, thanks to work like yours and many others. Thank you for your hard work.
Dude, they just asked me for ID and background check at the store, here in ca, for walnuts. I knew that there was a reason. They told me there was a 10-day waiting period, that I had to fill out papers, and that they would regulate them.
I love all the people shocked that he can sprint through the woods without shoes. tell me you grew up inside without telling me you grew up inside lmao
No walnuts in Texas but this got me thinking about launching cactus. We've got this extremely annoying one nicknamed jumping cactus because you can't walk near it without having small pieces break off and stick to your legs. Launch those at the enemy and they'll be so busy cussing trying to get them off they won't be able to shoot at you. That leaves us time to prepare a full scale prickly pear attack leaving them withering on the ground in agony. We could walk right past them and take over their base. Let the great cactus war begin!
@@BigJoker I'd get rid of it on the ranch but the fruit tastes pretty good, a bit like strawberries. So I leave them alone mostly along with other wild edibles like prickly pear, hack berry trees, yucca and a few others. If things get bad I've got a native plant that doesn't need watering and good for food, soap and cordage. The yucca fills all three spots.
Nobody needs walnuts of this caliber for home defense. Acorns are more than enough. Lighter, more velocity. I read somewhere it can ricochet inside the skull, doubling potential damages.
I only just now got this notification for this video thank you UA-cam! Hey Tim @HoffmanTactical congratulations you've invented the first tactical Jai alai cesta !.
Just in: black walnuts now being legislated and taxed, and restriction actions are being discussed. Also, there’s is a sudden shortage of black walnuts. Weird timing.
I love that you use today, the first as the day to release a "faux" product that would have some legitimate practical use, assuming that walnut doesn't "grow into a tree" before tossed at your opponent, out here in Hawaii I'll have to import walnuts, as we just have 🍍
Could be a grenade thrower too. If the army will pay $2000 for a hammer, imaging how much you can charge for that innovation - $5000? And the deluxe version has a string to pull the pin automatically so the soldier isn't in a rush, only $1000 more. 🤣🤣🤣LOL
You say you've created the perfect Black Walnut Launcher. I say you've created the best manual grenade launcher. I mean the hand grenade varieties, not the SAGMs. Why would you throw a grenade round when you can shoot it? Sell the patents to the US Armed Forces for a $1,000,000. Maybe even more.
Do you have plans to make a nut or other round object launcher? I'm not sure how well the PLA stuff can handle the pressure of blanks but it would be a neat thing to have!
Truly the modern innovation that the AR platform needs.
Now, not only will the AFT be monitoring you, but the FDA and department of Forrest Management will be too. 😅
Well done.👍
One big happy alphabet soup bowl😊
Did this have a name already?
Perhaps you could call it: The squirrel nut flipper"?
don't forget International Federation of Pelota Vasca which governs the sport of jai alai Tim has invented the tactical version.
In all seriousness there’s an fda agent with pictures of this all across his desk trying to connect it to domestic terrorism

That's pretty awesome
Happy April fools day. Haven't seen Lock Picking Lawyer yet.
People really need to kill the concept of Aprils fools...................
That barefoot sprint is insane, given the amount of dead material on the forest floor.
Hobbitses, precioussss

lol youve never left your house
I can't remember the last time I wore shoes. not a joke
Not if ur feet are fucked

Also much like with firearms it’s much more likely to be an effective “assault walnut” if it’s black

This is the most Chad lacrosse stick I have ever seen.
I have 2 pecan trees. Do you have any plans to design one chambered for pecan?
Tim, black walnuts are heavily restricted in some states. Is it possible convert this to pecan or even cashew? Thanks. Asking for a friend.
How Tim could accomplish without laughing takes some great acting skills!
Or LOTS of takes.
Nobody needs a walnut launcher that size. We must ban all assault walnuts.
Missed opportunity here: "Your Walnut Holder" should be properly called by it's MilSpec name - the Nut Sack
My thoughts exactly. Came here to the comments to see if I was alone in the universe. (Best usage of the term was in the 30 Rock episode where Kenneth tells the story of how his prized pig bit his off.)
Can you test this on ballistic gel? Also will this work with smaller caliber nuts like Macadamia?
Nah just Boom Boom Sauce sized nuts
So the question we are all wondering, does it come in FDE?
Yes.
What an incredible new product. I can't believe no one has not thought of this before.
It could actually be useful for training. If you have a bunch of walnuts you could throw them out of the launcher and shoot them before they hit the ground.
Very nice, will there be a keymod compatible version?
No.

There are now 6 items that make your rifle and assault weapon. Thanks a lot, Hoffman.
Thanks for helping me realize that it's April Fools.
Took me a minute, glad I remembered what day it is! 😅
Listen here, buddy. I've been watching you for a year, now. Fool me once shame on me...😂😂😂
Yes. Last year we went a little too real. Had to tune it down a little ;)
Dude I've gotta ask. Were you homeschooled? I was homeschooled so I've just gotta ask.

I don't have access to black walnuts. Could this be adapted for crab apples?
I live in inferior pecan country will this be compatible?
No, even when resized, pecans need a higher curve rate to stabilize properly.
@@HoffmanTactical man they aren't even good for throwing. Smg
Neutralizing a threat with a Black Walnut is genius!!! Keep up the great work!! You rock!
Make one in white for snowball arctic warfare
Now they will say that now anyone can make "Ghost walnut launchers" at home just using a 3D printer.
Nobody needs walnuts of this caliber for home defense. Acorns are more than enough. Lighter, more velocity. I read somewhere it can ricochet inside the skull, doubling potential damages.
And so Hoffman spoke to the people and said „He, who hasn’t previously been intoxicated by walnut gas, shall throw the first nut.“
OMG, this is so unsafe! That thing is going to blow up in your face. There's no way plastic can handle a full size walnut. Maybe a chestnut
This obviously violates YT reloading policies. Anticipate a blured version and a channel strike explanation video in the near future.
Absolutely devastating.
I’m hesitant to make a unregistered destructive device. Is there a 37mm version?
Walnut caliber launchers will also launch egg calibers, but egg caliber launchers will not launch walnuts.
Those new versions of the ORCA just keep getting better and better. Keep up the great work you barefooted genius

Can the Rocky Mountain boys get a pinecone launcher?
Even after all the hints of a "dead simple" "ludicrous" M-LOK accessorie, this is beyond what I imagined 😂
Great idea, but won't work for me because it isn't ambidextrous. And I didn't see a safety, so I guess it will be outlawed in Blue States.
We must ban these assault attachments
This is just what I needed for my personal protection. LOL
I know its supposed to be a joke, but have any of you ever been hit by a black walnut? Its like being hit by a wooden baseball.
I’m going to need two of these.
Can't wait to see how the ATF justifies banning tactical nut chuckers!
I'd be interested to see where development can be made on this design. Are there any plans to address the cyclic rate in the next iteration?
You might want to blur it out when you actually load the walnuts. Don’t want to see you get a UA-cam strike!
Any one hit with a black walnut knows...
This would make for much more interesting lacrosse games.
With a little bit of training the walnut launcher becomes the primary weapon.
The Hoff! Got not one but 2 feet forward more than John McClaim from die hard!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
ATF will get pissed with this game changing acessory
im thinking kiwis might be a secondary ammo Sorce .
Walnut launchers already banned in CA, i'm sure.
Welp, I didnt know it was april fools day...
Is there a left-handed version? or a Dual Launcher?
Does anyone know where to buy green tip walnuts?
But seriously, how about a real walnut launcher that uses blanks?
The Russians will never be able to counter this. "Do you like nuts? How about DEEZ NUTZ?!"
Reminds me of the movie The Patriot in the opening scenes😅
Will this fit a tennis ball? Asking for my dog
Can you make an under mount 🥔 launcher?
Especially with a Mapp gas-oxygen mixture as propellant 🥰
i printed the nut launcher and the feds raided my house

Finally, a projectile for enemies with a nut allergy.
But does it work with acorns?
You should make and release a homemade walnut
I'm not falling for it this year 🎉
We’re going to be seeing this on the battlefield in Ukraine.
Theoretically if you run out of black walnuts, you could sling frags from that bad boy
I'm too scared.
I have so many questions...
Coconut launcher next?
