Pls follow and message me on Instagram for help! I can get yours running correctly
I would recommend these over forced reset triggers such as Alamo 15, rare breeds, etc!
Pls email me if you’d like info on sourcing :)

Its so ridiculous and hilarious that a kid has outsmarted the atf in terms of technical terminology in the definition of what defines a f/a and then trolls them with a clever name for it. But dont think for a second the atf doesnt have a big whiteboard rolled into a boardroom with 20 advisors, prosecutors and officials working around the clock to make this stick in theyre favor. 😂😂
Yeah I get that. Which is fine. But when that day comes I’ll obviously get rid of it as to not be a felon. Until then it’s fun technology to play with. Why people are so nervous is beyond me
@@TheTyler701 probably the auto key card aka the ervin effect, which ruined lives which as was know the story go's...bs!. Atf will twist it in any way they see fit to make you a felon regardless of the laws. Too be fair... I prefer legal stamp tax free suppressor/silencers buy off the shelf variety. Sbr's laws are bs too. Trying to get around the fa ordeal is more or less firepower for the atf as opposed to just simply fighting to get a suppressor or sbr off the shelf like in the Chech.
Hate do be that guy but, he’s not a kid. I’m 47 and if I respect someone like Hoffman. I don’t call them a kid.
No ill will, I respect hoffman. Daddy chill! 😂
@cha-ka8671 good point. He's going to live a long time. Most geniuses make big moves before age 30
PLEASE watch my updated video. This vid gives someone bad advice given the extra knowledge I have learned.
Any advise on troubleshooting it not resetting the trigger? Everything works smoothly but doesn’t reset the trigger after a shot?
I asked hoffman directly and he told me its normal for the trigger pull to be slightly heavier in ss. But too much and there is issues going on
Great video though. It helped me realize i had a little filing to do. Appreciate the info!
On mine, the first trigger pull on SS feels normal. If I let go of the trigger and cycle the bolt, it’s around 50% heavier trigger pull… Is that not normal? What’s the remedy?
ATF here we’re going to need those SIX super safeties that ran really well.
Are they back legal?
Im having issue with the cam pushing the trigger all the way forward to the cams limit and the disconnector isn’t letting the hammer reset onto the trigger sear, I’ve since removed some material from the disconnector and it seems to work ok, but its not ideal, the cam just needs to push the trigger more forward imo
Your grip screw might be in to tight try lossening it some an see if it works
Hoffman is the Jimmy neutron of the guns world
I’m having issues with my BCG sticking while cycling. When you say file the SS lever, do you mean file the under side of the lever so it sits lower on the rear takedown block area cleaning the path, or file the top of the SS lever to clear the path, or doesn’t it matter? I heard you say on one of your builds you even had to file you upper, which I’m hoping isn’t the case for myself. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. Great video
Thanks for your video!,,my bolt is sticking in ss/safe mode would you make a video of where you grinded please
When you say the left side of the trigger needs to be filed, are you talking about the part that should be cut down or the side that should be Mil spec?
Awesome, video brother
I think it's awesome, too, video bro!
Thanks Bud for safety. Eyes n fingers are irreplaceable. Good job on video.
is there a possibility that you could file the left side of the trigger too much? or will it not be much of an issue?
question is would the milled twin bros trigger need a little sanding or is this advice primarily for custom triggers? i dont want to sand the milled trigger down too far.
The tolerances in every single gun are different and you need to calibrate the action to your particular combination. The detent pin is being sanded for a smooth interface with the cam. The milled trigger would be adjusted with sanding or filing to adjust the travel needed to allow the safety lever to move forward with the correct timing your bolt carrier requires.
A millspec trigger is like what, $6. I bought a bunch of spares when this came out.
Mine simply wont force the reset. It moves the trigger, but not far enough to force the reset.
What about 3d arms is that a good website
No
Please explain more on the 9mm, I'm having issues with bcg hitting lever when trying to close rear takedown it holds it up about 1 cm. Do I have to file into the weight that's hitting it on bcg or try different bcg?
Is there a reason that the SS mode would not fire the last round at all fed many rounds and never fires last one .
Do you need a certain buffer weight and bolt?
What factory AR's does the Super Safely work in? Do the triggers all require tuning?
You have to modify the trigger
Can you make a video just installing the SS? Please!
It’s pretty easy. What questions do you habe
@@TheTyler701 To a New owner of the Hoffman. Can you show where you filed each part that you have spoken about in this video. It is more of a spoken tutorial than a "HOW TO". Any help to you subscribers i9s greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@@archstanton420where did you get yours from?
I really want to get one but am a little worried, do I have to worry about the atf showing up?
Have you put one in an aero precision lower?
Hey can you post a video of your psa 9mm ar with the ss. I’ve also got a psa ar 9 and want to put a super safety in it but people have been telling me it won’t work because of the buffer weight and bolt bounce
I'm curious how well it works with 9mm as well.
@@bryanhoell5886 I saw a guy on Facebook post a video of his ar 9 with a 50 round drum and it ran flawless, he said he had to cut an angle on the weight that’s on the bcg
@66.caprice I'm eyeing up the H&R 635. If their bolt carrier is to full-auto spec, it should work without modifications...in theory. Direct blowback firearms can be dangerous if not timed right.
The big issue with 9mm ars is indeed bolt bounce. If you slow o record your gun firing you should see if the bolt bounces when it closes. If it does get a dead blow buffer that's nice and heavy, should help a lot
H2 or H3 buffer would fix bolt bounce.
Probably a stupid question, Do you know if this will work with a Larue MBT trigger pack? I’m looking at getting the Larue mbt package from greymarketresearch to put in my Lee sporting lower for my mp5k.
@@honkhonk1555 hit or miss. You will just have to try it. It all depends on how long the reset is. The cam was designed to reset a milspec trigger. Shorter reset triggers may work but they’re case by case

Can you post a video or a picture of the AR-V lower that you modified?
Not the lower, the upper is what had to be milled. Please join the FRT Facebook group with 6.2k members. I put a PDF on there that goes over everything step by step
So when i pull the cam lever back when squeezing the trigger its not resetting my trigger. I have to let off trigger pressure which im hardly holding. 😊
Need to file off more trigger bar material
This changes if you’re using your own trigger. If you cut your own trigger…you are opening up more cans of worms and it may be a different part of the trigger binding, therefore you’d actually ruin the trigger taking my advice and filing the top left.
I would recommend getting a twin bros trigger and at least knowing how they cut it so you can make your own
is there a reason why we cant just slightly file down the top of the bar instead of trigger to adjust it?
@@johnerickson6023 the cam will wear over time slightly no matter what. Best to minimize that by not removing cam material at all

DO NOT FILE AWAY YOUR LEVER
If you have a few degrees of play in the cam, that's intentional, ANY OTHER ISSUE needs to be resolved in other ways.
Don't ruin your lever unless you've got spares
What r you talking about man? I’m only saying to file the lever need be to clear the BCG channel.
@@TheTyler701 I'm an idiot man I didn't finish the video because my morning suddenly got started and I thought I understood what you were saying.
I might be misunderstanding, so with an milspec ar15 bcg your upper should close up and the cutout should sit just above the lever.
If you are unable to close the upper because the lever is hitting the bcg, you might have a semi only bcg.
I'll watch your video again in a moment, I've spent A LOT of time tinkering with the ss for my blowback AR-9, but I've never had issues in my traditional gas piston ar15
@@TheTyler701 Don't mind me I'm just a goof.
@@PacificTriggerthere’s more material on a full auto BCG. So saying if it won’t close you may have a semi auto BCG is incorrect.
There isn’t a reality where an upper won’t close on a SS lower as long as you have the SS pushed forward enough. And if it still hits, it’s because your carrier is to a 9mm blowback gun and you have to remove material from the carrier. Not material where the trip is, material in front of it that’s only added for weight purposes
I have an aero precision lower and and i push my hammer backand my lever just swing back and forth and dosent do anything?any ideas?i bought the ss and triger combo
M16 style BCG?
Generic bcg I got it figured out thanks

I’m so happy brother that you got yours. I’m still waiting on mine. I guess twin 3-D printing don’t really care them and Hoffman if people pay for the product and gets it I’ve been waiting for it for over two months now. Did anybody wait that long for their can you please let me know
I saw on Reddit that wait time is usually around two to three months. The email I got from Twinbros said that they’re on back order
I think it’s pathetic that we have to wait 3 to 4 months to get a product that if you go on their website right now they’re already making the B6 system and I ordered the B5 system which supposed to be shipped out around Christmas of 23
@@bigal4828 I hear you, but at the same time they’re going about it the right way. Twinbros do it this way so that even if the alphabet boys do end up raiding them and finding the shipping addresses, they’re not traceable back to the costumers. Yes wait time sucks but I’d rather wait 2-3 months and not be on a list than get it in 5 days with a knock on my door
@@bigal4828I hear you, I'm waiting on batch 5 also, but at least we get a free gift lol
@@bigal4828 if im not mistaken the whole thing is run by 4 or 5 people and all things considered with these rising in popularity its best to find patience. personally i wouldnt expect it to come in until 4 months after purchase
why would mine be light striking? maybe some bolt bounce
Light primer strike is either bolt bounce or hammer follow
Try a heavier buffer an H2-H3 is recommended, check your buffer spring length a carbine spring should measure between 10"-11"1/4' if it's shorter it's worn, you can also try a heavier weight hammer spring
