I love that you promote thrifting on this channel and not just random Amazon stuff. You gotta pay the bills, so I understand why you have sponsored stuff too, but it's so refreshing to see the thrifted angle.
I think your beautiful painting from Germany would look great in your entryway, but just higher, so the eye can appreciate it more, and it doesn’t blend into the basket rack. Beautiful makeovers!
I am an artist, and as an artist, I would feel so flattered that someone would want to hang a piece of my art in their home. Then make the added effort to use a little color variation to make it look nice in their own space. 💕🥰
Andrea, I would hang that painting in the foyer. Bringing color in there! Amazing decor and thank you for sharing your make overs! Greatly appreciated! 🙏🤍
No matter who says what, it’s your home and if something doesn’t feel right for you, change it. I think the picture looks a lot nicer now……PS. Your prints of your paintings are absolutely gorgeous! What a talent!
Great job, Andrea! And remember, these are YOUR pieces of art and you can do what you want with them. No one has a right to say anything about what belongs to you. 😊
I really like the painting from Germany by your entrance. Thank you for the idea of chalk paint and antiquing wax to age your items. They all looked beautiful after your makeover!
Please make more videos like this ! You are so talented , I could watch your videos all day long . I love learning about that wax- thanks! You are an amazing talented artist . God bless you and your family !
Hi Andrea! You could put the Germany print on top of the other two prints. You would need to drop the two a little and add the third one to the top. Just a thought. 😊 Love your home!
Nothing is safe at my home between Rub and Buff, antique wax, stains, paint, textures. Once its mine. there are no rules! Just create, play and have fun! Love your DIY's and think the painting is perfect above the entry baskets.
Great finds and great makeovers!! I like the print by the front door as the colors go so well with your door! The little gold frames are darling with your beautiful prints! You are so inspirational with your ideas from thrifted finds!! Thank you for sharing!
Great ideas! The white flowers in the blue pot looks like either Yarrow or Queen Ann’s Lace. Either way, the arrangement is very pretty. I think I like the painting near your front door. It makes it stand out more on its own.
Loved all of your DIYs! They not only inspire me when I'm looking at the thrift store, but to also take another look at some of the things I already have to make them better suited for our home. Your entry is so beautiful and I think adding the moody picture to your entry would add to the depth of that room and that welcoming homey feel you've created so well.
You are sweet and talented! Glad to have found you, and watch you thrift and create pieces for your beautiful home. Btw, I like the artwork by your front door.
I think the art deserves its own space/wall. It's really pretty! Wow, I had no idea you were an artist. I would love to see all your art. Can you show us please?
Thank you for this! I have a wooden....thingy. I have no idea what to call it, but it's super unique but painted white and I want to make it more natural. This has inspired me to use some of the paint we've got lying around and try to get it to a place where I want to put it out! That was the plan, but just didn't know where to start.
Good afternoon Andrea, I love the way you aged the picture from Germany and I really like it in the collage with the other pictures. The DIYs are all so lovely. I’ve printed out several of your pieces and have them framed in my home. Thank you for your great ideas.
Love all of your finds and how you made them over. Hard to pick a favorite. You are very good at picking a palette for your home and making everything flow with that. The vase with the lilacs was from the studio mcgee line at target last year or longer. I saw it there and thought it was so pretty.
I thrifted two matching oval picture frames that look very similar to yours, and you inspired to finally switch out the dated artwork in them! I never considered going horizontal with them too.
I really enjoyed your craft work today. All the items looked so much better after your painting.l would love to see more items transformed in the future.
Good morning Andrea 🤗 I love the paintings u did, maybe add one more next to the other one n ur bathroom 🤔 & ur Germany pic which is beautiful my fave spot is n ur entry way 👍🏼 all ur diy’s look simple so maybe I could do it 😂 I’m so excited for later n the mo I get to go to a vintage market so many treasures under one roof so I’ll b looking for some diy’s ☺️
Andrea makes your home such a cozy place at any time of the year. I admire your ability to make such a beautiful place for your family with such simple and mostly second-hand things. Stunning video. Have a blessed day!!! Thanks for the inspiration ❤🌹🌿
Hey girl- Loved the video! ☺Great job on the makeovers😉😁and I think the picture looks better by the door🤔 both places look good though🤗 Y'all have a blessed weekend🥰
This was a great video today, I love seeing what people do to their thrift store or garage sale finds! I have used the dark wax technique on many items and it is amazing the transformation, the look is so beautiful. I think you should add the German painting to the wall next to the other two paintings, an odd number is always a good mix.
Everything turned out perfect! I loved seeing the prints from the pictures you had previously painted- you are a very talented artist! They are so beautiful! ❤
All your makeovers were simple, but very effective; I would hang your painting you got in Germany in the hallway, it goes well with the tones of your decor and being on its own, it would stand out more than in a group. By the way, I especially like your own paintings; a great idea to frame one of them, it certainly elevated the thrift store frame!
I love how that antique dark wax is so versatile and can be used on so many surfaces. I may have to get myself a can of it. I also love the little printed painting in the bathroom. You make everything look so effortless.
Honestly, I love every single project you showed us! I've used the clear wax but not the dark though I have it. Think I'll go shopping in my decor stash to see what I can work on this weekend! Thanks so much for the inspiration, Andrea!
I always love your videos everything looks so pretty in your home!!! I am going to be getting some of the Annie sloan wax it made everything look so aged and pretty.
I’ve never tried the Annie Sloan wax, but I guess I’ll have to now ! Something I have done with glass on occasion is to lightly mist it with a clear satin spray - has worked really well for me
I vote for the entry for the Germany picture. I think it makes it more special to be alone. It is so pretty. You had great ideas for DIY. Thrifting where I live isn’t the best but I keep going. Hopefully I will find something on day. ❤️

I agree, entryway makes it pop both in location and lighting in my opinion. Seemed lost in the corner with the other two pictures.
I think you should put that painting from Germany by the front door!!
Everything else is absolutely perfect as usual!!!
Thank you for sharing!!!🤍🤍🤍
My vote is for the painting to go in the entryway! Love the more aged look!
I like the art by the front door. It competes with the other art in the corner.
your prints are lovely!!
Thank for sharing the aging process of the art. I wanna try that on a painting that isn't as moody as i wanted it...a bit too pinky... ❤
I am an artist, and as an artist, I would feel so flattered that someone would want to hang a piece of my art in their home. Then make the added effort to use a little color variation to make it look nice in their own space. 💕🥰
Thank you for sharing that with me!! 😊
Andrea, I would hang that painting in the foyer. Bringing color in there! Amazing decor and thank you for sharing your make overs! Greatly appreciated! 🙏🤍
I’d put the painting in the foyer over that tiered basket
I like the painting by the window with the other two pieces.
Thanks! 😊

The lid you put on the jug/ creamer was for its matching sugar pot and the little plate underneath was probably for your used teaspoon.
Everything came out so beautiful !. And oh my goodness, you are such an amazing artist. Your painting's are gorgeous.

I prefer the painting in the entryway, but what would be even better is a mirror there!

Oh I love the prints in the oval frames! ❤
My mother had those 2 ovals with ducks. She collected them years ago! 😮
You’re so creative and it really shows how much you truly love it! 💕 the use of your artwork in those pretty frames was my favorite!

Enjoyed ur video. I think the German pic wud look good in entry way and higher. Very good idea with that wax!
You should buy the one or two glasses and build your set! I also don’t mind mixing and matching glasses, and often I’m just using one myself
I vote for the entry for the Germany picture. I think it makes it more special to be alone. It is so pretty. You had great ideas for DIY. Thrifting where I live isn’t the best but I keep going. Hopefully I will find something on day. ❤️
