Support them in art, sports, music etc. Give them the needful help and support. Show them that you care about them and that is love and that is everything
It was really nice to see that artists who aren't developmentally delayed but are disadvantaged in other ways are welcomed, recognisrd and supported there as well. Really, it's just nice to see people like myself and my family members be valued and happy in general.
Thank you for what you do & for enabling people to express their creative talents in so many wonderful ways which enrich societies as well as giving the artists some recognition and income. I wish there were studios/exhibition spaces like this in every town all over the world and that they would be well funded & equipped.
This is what I want to do for the rest of my life. To do art, display art, sell art, or apply art to other materials or products which have higher potentials to be sold such as shirts, bags, shoes, cups and mugs, book illustrations for children's books, etc. Also to teach art and inspire other people especially kids, teens, and persons with disabilities in my community to also do art and be able to be paid from their work too through facilities such as workshops, art school, etc. I don't want art to be just celebrated by the artists but by the entire community I live in, that anybody can participate in the process of creation. After those, I maybe should start my own local media network and give working opportunities for my people, then a theater house, a film production studio, a museum, and slowly upgrade the small art school with galleries and exhibits, and into a university or art institute/college someday. I just don't know exactly how and when to start realizing these dreams. I don't want to be rich, 'cause I don't want to do it alone. I don't know why the love of inspiring and helping others to succeed or including others in my personal dreams and goals are my true passions whatever I choose to do and plan in life. I also want to help those undergoing mental health issues especially anxiety and depression, because I too experienced those in the toughest phase of my life. :)
Why don't they teach them digital designing as nowadays it is the most demanded skill with lots of opportunities around and on internet and will bring them a good sum of money and more financial stabiity.
Thanks so much for sharing this story! I just finished filming a video documentary short on Tiffany Manning, a Halloween prop maker and artist who has Osteogenesis Imperfecta. She designs characters for haunted houses and themed attractions and then is a scare actor, often using her wheelchair. Her passion and drive to do what she loves is amazing! ua-cam.com/video/h55ffhZrEpE/v-deo.html
